Answer: Extremely small. I do not think anything can crawl through it.

Is that lightweight enough?

Answer: Not heavy at all, probably about the same weight as 2 or 4 packs of large worms.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of manufacturer mine broke the first time I used . Is there a replacement they can send?

I recieved this product just before a fishing trip. I was baffled by the quality of this product. It's cheap and very flimsy. This product is also much smaller then I thought it would be. I am returning this product with out use. It would only be good for catching minnows from a tank or very small pan fish.

This is a large fishing net that collapses into a much smaller size that is easy to carry. The fishing net comes in a sturdy zippered carrying case. The front of the case is mesh and the back of the case is plastic. The zipper is also made of plastic. The case is well sewn and seems sturdy. The case has a small loop at the top of the case that allows you to hang it on a hook. One drawback of the carrying case is that it does not have a longer strap that would allow you to carry the case on your shoulder. The carrying case is 19 inches long and 7 inches wide.

The net is very easy to open and locks into place once the net is fully extended. You will hear a small click noise when the net has been fully locked. The mouth of the net is about 16 inches wide and the net is about 11 inches deep. The net material is a strong nylon mesh. Alas, I didn’t catch any fish to test the real use durability of the net. I did put about 5 pounds of books in the net and it held that weight with no problem. The net pole is a lightweight, yet strong metal. The pole is about 16 inches fully collapsed and extends to 65 inches. The pole has a soft rubber hand hold that is 6 inches long. The pole handle is designed to help you hold the pole even when it gets wet.

When you are ready to store the net, simply push the small lever to the top of the pole to release the net. Fold the net, collapse the handle, and return to the bag. The net fits easily into the storage bag once it has been folded.
