At 36-inches long and folding to only 12-inches when stowed, The Fish Stik covers the full spectrum of necessity – from measuring trophy fish to stowing down under a raised seat, between tackle boxes, or in a storage crate.

The Fish Stik also has a raised 3.5-inch bump board and line slot to improve measurement accuracy, increase angler efficiency, and minimize the stress on the fish. When measuring a fish off-the-line, hold the mouth/nose of the fish tightly against the bump board for the most accurate measurement. When measuring a fish on-the-line, the built-in line slot allows you to pull the line through the slot in the bump board and proceed with the measurement – uninterrupted by line adjustment.

Are the numbers dark like in the video? Or just raised and the same color as the board like in the photos?

Answer: The numbers are raised and the same color when the board arrives to you. There is an included marker to highlight any measurements that you would like to read easier, depending on what limits you are fishing for.

Answer: The Fish Stik I received has raised letters and are the same color as the board.

Answer: You have to buy a black sharpie and paint in all the numbers. It’s very tedious but once it’s complete it actually looks pretty nice. I used a red sharpie for every 5 inches to give it a cooler look. Worth the buy and tedious work though! Good luck!

Tourney tag included. Love it. Won't float so be careful. Easy fix. It's well made. Only con is you have to permanent marker the numbers yourself ( marker included ). Great buy.

Very well made, constructed with polymer, with the concept of durability and longevity in mind (hence, the raised measuring marks and numbering that won't rub off.) Unfortunately, the raised measurements and the tunnels/tabs used to secure the board in its extended form makes it pretty abrasive and not the most fish friendly. I'll be returning it and looking for something that isn't quite so abrasive. This would be a quality product if YakGear made the raised markings a little more subtle or even embossed them.
