It’s so tangled I can’t get it get untangled what am I suppose to do

Answer: you may try soaking it in water with fabric softener in it. Unfortunately, these nuts are complete garbage. You get what you pay for, and I learned that lesson!

What is the ring for? Does it help with throwing it?

Answer: Yes, but the net is very cheaply made, mine caught on a weed and rip when I pulled on it

Where can i find instructions on how to throw the 8 foot net with ring? The 8' will be different than 4' which i found instructions for.

Answer: 0.47 is just a tiny bit less than 1/2"

Answer: This holes in the actual net are .47" So not great for small minnows but will work for shad, pilchards, cigar minnows, etc.

I wanted to be able to catch bait when I go to the coast and have tried throwing a standard cast net with little success. I took this out of the box watched 1 youtube video and perfect every time. I purchased the 6 foot as I thought it would be easier to throw but next one will be an 8 or 10.

The casting net is light weight and comes in a zipper bag for easy storage. The net is easy to throw and retrieve but does rip easy if it gets caught on oyster beds or rocks.

I should have known better ordering this net but tried to save money. I got what I paid for. I had a cheap feel, tangled easily horribly and simply would not work, even after watching how to YouTube videos. I wanted a circle for easier throwing and should have just bought the ProKast ring and a nice cast net from the beginning. I completely wasted my money.

Do not waste your money on a junk product. I purchased the 10-ft net, and it's such low quality that the entire top of the horn is all bunched up and doesn't stretch out to even close to 10 ft. The company was not very helpful on solving my issue. I've tried throwing it, but it's such cheap monofilament that it just tangles up and turns into a mess.

Net tangles very easily. The weights are small enough to tangle themselves into the mesh without any problem which makes it a pain to throw.

Net size was fine. Net quality was a different story. After a few casts it get terribly tangled. The line holding the bottom of the net has excessive stretching and causes the weights to get tangled to the point where you are constantly untangling it. Very frustrating! And when I say tangled I mean TANGLED! The whole net tangles, not just in a few places, it balls up and it takes too long to fix. You spend more time fixing it than casting it.

This net was amazing the first two throws. It opened well, sank a little slower than I would like, but it was good the first two. After that second throw, I noticed the bottom of the net(the rope material holding the sinkers) was separating from the mesh. The netting is very thin line and eventually completely ripped from said rope at the bottom. I addressed this by repairing and patching for about 2 hours using zip ties. The net continued to tear at other spots in the mesh area and I haven't been able to use it since. I went back to using my 10 year old walmart castnet.

This is an ok cast net, works good for small bait fish. It is on the lighter side of weight for a cast net, but was able to get all the bait I needed. UNDERSTAND one thing so you will not be disappointed when you order a 8 foot net it is actually only 8 foot when the net is in a full circle. So is a 4 FOOT net by US standards as to cast net size. I ordered an 8 foot, but kept it anyway for I like to have a small cast net of 3-4 foot to get fish in tight areas.

The material first off that it is made of when wet tangles so easily the weights on the bottom are heavy but thin and end up going through the cast net square holes and becoming a tangled nightmare. It is not like a standard cast net at all you are lucky if it doesn't close mid-air before it even hits the water I highly don't recommend this product I been using cast nets for 15+ years and never seen one so bad.
