Are the oxygen absorbers individually packed or how will they stay usable when working numerous hours? Thanks.

Answer: No there are not I wish more companies would bag them individually. A lot of people said they put them in a mason jar n close it and vacuum seal the jar I don’t have a vacuum sealer so I just put them in a mason jar. It will suck out the oxygen in there super fast n actually seal the jar.

Answer: the best solution is to buy small maylar bags and use it to store oxygen absorbers in the same way to store food

Answer: One way to slow the action of the oxygen absorbers until you're ready to use, (and you don't have a vacuum sealer) put them in a ziplock bag, press the air out, then put in a small mason jar or another kind of airtight container (preferably glass).

Are these bags 5 mil?

Answer: Yes they are very sturdy and nice. I don't remember the order saying but I have had 5 mil before and these fell the same.

Answer: We put the unused ones in a large canning jar, put a lid on it and then remove the air.

How to tell if the absorber is working

Answer: When the O2 absorbers are working, and no leaks in the mylar bag it should suck down tightly as the absorbers work. Takes a few hours. They will also get warm to the touch if you can feel them through the bag.

Answer: Before sealing the bag, press out as much air as you can. You will know the oxygen absorber is working after a day or two when the bag appears to have sucked in against the contents.

Answer: Yes, these will protect your contents from all UV and any other light.

I bought 30 buckets, loads of rice, wheat, beans, and oats, and as I'm getting close to my 23rd bucket I realize that 3 mylar bags are missing. I double checked my buckets to see if I messed up somewhere. Nope, there are 3 mylar bags missing. I thought I was buying 30 mylar bags, not 27.

Ast : Bags ok oxygen absorbers not

Tried them and none of the oxygen absorbers worked been 24 hours since I put them in bag and nothing. Even the small Mylar bag I put the other 27 extra in did not suck down. The bags seem about normal nothing special but should work.

Pretty strong bags, they are very durable even if you plan on using it for heavy objects. It comes with packages of the thing that sucks out moisture Incase you need them. At the bottom it has easy tear cuts so whenever you're ready to open them you can easy open it.
