Answer: About 40" each direction

Answer: If I recall, (its at my vacation home) its about 40-42" square.

It did not come with central hub.

Answer: It does have a central hub.

Answer: I would send it back. It supposed to have all the parts to function properly and the central hub a crucial piece

Answer: Yes, it comes with all the support needed to use it. You WILL need string for whatever depths you choose to use it at.

Easy to use and I always catch lot's of minnows.

Used it for the first the day after we received it and metal arm broke and lost it in the water.

Nice net BUT...the rods bend. Had another type for years, never a problem. I even had a hard time bending those rods to put in the trash. These bend easily. Wish I would have kept the old rods.

bought from local tackle shop. wanted to catch baitfish from my farm pond to use for catfishing.

assembly easy enough. problem is, you can't lift this thing out of the water fast enough to catch any minnows. the reason for this is a) the mesh is so small and the net fibers so thick that it creates too much water resistance and the net bows severely; b) the metal rods bow quite a bit too; and c) there should be 4-6" side net strips to prevent the minnows from washing out as you lift.

overall poor design.
