Answer: The tire lines are much tougher and won’t rip as easily if you hit a snag or a tree branch. The mono still works just fine it just won’t last as long. I would say that if you use it more than a few times a year get the tire line, if not go mono.

Answer: I didn’t have problems picking up fish. I would say make sure you are throwing a good pancake on the water and wait until the net almost hits the bottom before you pull it back up.

Heads up, this net throws pretty good but I suggest placing it into a 5 gallon bucket to soak with a mild soap, then rinse good & hang it up to dry in direct hot sunlight because it's a stuck together mess right out of the bag as shipped. This is a great net. I use it for catching shad and this net works great. Long rope for deep water and it has a nice comfortable wrist band. Throws super smooth. I would recommend practicing if you’re not experienced with a net this size. I went from a 5’ to a 7’ and it took a little getting use to but not didn’t take long to get it down. Net is durable and looks well built for its price. Definitely recommend this net.

I've bought alot of cast nets and some of which were on Amazon. The line that makes up the net itself is so thin and weak. After using it on 2 different occasions since I bought this a few days ago, it already has rips along the bottom and now the weights are getting hung up in the holes. Please fix or replace or refund. Make me a believer in this item. Thanks
