Answer: The tire lines are much tougher and won’t rip as easily if you hit a snag or a tree branch. The mono still works just fine it just won’t last as long. I would say that if you use it more than a few times a year get the tire line, if not go mono.

Answer: I didn’t have problems picking up fish. I would say make sure you are throwing a good pancake on the water and wait until the net almost hits the bottom before you pull it back up.

The material of the fishing net seems to be durable, with enough hand rope that I can use it on higher shores. Easy to open each time, using a lead pendant that sinks quickly and works very well. It comes in a tote bag, which makes it very easy for me to carry, even if I go on a trip with it. It also gives away a necessary repair tool for fishermen, which I will buy again in a larger size

Seems fine. Haven’t had it long enough to see how durable it is. Grandson requested for Christmas. There is a trick to throwing it. Don’t think you can just take it out of the package and do it right. Practice will make prefect. No problem with ordering or shipping.

The cast net arrived on time within 2 days. The webbing is made of good quality material and the centerline is strong and thick. Very easy to cast and cast a mile! We will soon start fishing for surf smelts. Sometimes we have to walk miles along the beach to find fish and the low weight means less fatigue and easy transportation. It is a great net for our purpose.

I practiced several times in the backyard before I went to fishing. The time spent in the backyard get paid off. I caught nearly 20 shads in the first cast under the bridge. I was a bit hesitant to buy a weighted net without testing the durability first, but after casting this one out a few times over the lake end, I found that it snares the fish pretty well. It's pretty easy to use for beginners as well, so overall, I'd say I'll be using this more often now.

I've bought alot of cast nets and some of which were on Amazon. The line that makes up the net itself is so thin and weak. After using it on 2 different occasions since I bought this a few days ago, it already has rips along the bottom and now the weights are getting hung up in the holes. Please fix or replace or refund. Make me a believer in this item. Thanks

This net is ok for practice but do not expect the same performance as a monofilament net. The length, size and weight is ok for learning to throw a net. Even though this net is a 1/2-inch mesh, do not expect it to sink like the mono-equivalent. The thread on this net gets caught in everything and it's harder to get untangled. The sink rate on a 1/2" mesh tire line is slower than a 3/8" mesh on a mono cast net.
