Uses and Tips for Optimal Results:


Step 1 Plug into the power	Step 2 According to the thickness of bags, adjust the sealing timer to 1-8; and level 3 is enough for most bags; Thicker the bag, higher the level required.	Step 3 No warmup time needed, put the bag on the machine flat.	Step 4 Impulse the press part for sealing; When the signal light is off automatically, keeping the handle pressed down for a few seconds would get optimal results.

For Your Information:

Level 3 is enough for most applications; thicker the bag, higher the level required;
The red light is not predictable when plug into the power. It is only predictable when keep the handle pressed down on bottom. This is a protection for sealer;
When seal is done, the red light will go off. Don't release the handle at once and keep the handle pressed down for a few seconds to get optimal results. If you use a 12-inch sealer, put your hand on the middle of the handle would be better;
Replacements should be replaced when the PTFE (cloth) appears warn, discolored or sealing isn't perfect;

Answer: For the nature of your question, yes it will dmage the strip due to the stickness of the honey. Otherwise, Put parchment paper in addition to where BOTH sealing strip is placed. That way if it squeezes out, it sticks to the parchment paper. Again, I am NOT responsible for anything that happens to your product.

Answer: I sure if it leaks out onto the Teflon it could damage it. I use cellophane bags and it seals beautifully. Perhaps if you don’t fill to full it won’t over flow.

Answer: I don't know the answer of that question as it deviates from the original design of the sealer. The sealer does a great job in its original design, however if you desire to experiment beyond it's original design, it would be at your own risk.

Answer: Mine also reads model 300. , 300-400 w, . It has been working fine. I believe the 900- 1000 w description was incorrect. Cheaper models do 2 mil width instead of 5 mil. I believe the cheaper models use around 300 watts and this model uses as much as 400 watts. 1000 watts would make the room temperature rise like a space heater.

Answer: You may need to use a higher level on the sealing timer. Also make sure you are continuing to press down for a few additional seconds after the signal light has turned off to get optimal results. On thicker material, I have found it helpful to do a second impulse immediately after the first one without moving the material. It has helped make sure that it creates a nice complete seal. I would recommend that you do some test seals using the above steps in order to become more comfortable with the sealing of thicker product. Hope this helps.

Answer: 4 to 4.5 is where I find that it works best. If you find that is not working like you like you could go up or down by 1. For best results keep the handle compressed down on the mylar in place for an extra 2-3 seconds after the impulse timer goes off. That is very helpful to secure a great seal.

Answer: 3 to 4, take a bag and experiment with it. Start at the closed end with different settings and see how it seals, hold handle down for a few seconds after "click" for better seal.

The crimps on the end were not strong enough for proper use but if you crimp the ends again with a small pair of Vice Grips they will work and last for a long time. The 5 mm sealing strip I am now using has sealed many thousands of bags in the last 3 years and has not been replaced yet. YHE 2mm has a much shorter life span

I need a sealer that can seal through three layers close to 6ml. At first this worked amazingly....after a week of use it quit .producing no heat, I checked the fuse and it was defective...just kept spinning ,couldn’t remove it so I sent it back. I don’t recommend this item.

Its a good cheap sealer, but you cant run too many bags through them for too long. The body is plastic but it seems tough enough. If you have 10-30 bags to seal then you are fine but if you do them too fast or too many then it has a problem. The seal is decent and in some ways its a fine sealer. Not recommended for heavy professional use.

I was surprised that the decal that says the companies name just started peeling off right away. it was really bad.

Yes the machine can seal plastic and other stuff but the 8" Sealer Replacement Element Grip, Impulse Sealer Repair Kits Heat Seal Strips is really costly so i used paper instead for both side as the paper are 99.99999% cheaper then the strips alone. Yes, we use the sealer maybe a lot but the cost to replace the sealer strip is really expensive so i thought of it and had to use paper. The replacement strips are 1 dollar each but you have to buy 10 to get that price. If I left the strips and used it, I would have to replace it 15-30 times. Per 100 seals. Also now we have overheat issue. Back to tape!

I purchased this heat sealer to replace a cheaper one I had bought last year. The cheaper version has a piece of metal that gets bent over time and you have to constantly take it apart and unbend it back to its original position for the impulse to be activated correctly. I use the heat sealer to seal decorated sugar cookie cello bags.

Total garbage. Seems like it's working great, beautiful, flawless seals. They aren't actually sealed though. More than half of our bags lost pressure during incubation.
A foodsaver I got out of the trash outperforms this 100 times over.

The light isn't right it comes on for about 1 second. The strip of material stuck to the first bag and pulled loose. It says will seal up to 5 mm but my mushroom bags don't seal on the gusset folds. My bags are .03mm so on the folds that's .03 x 4 witch is 1.2 mm.. Guess I should have tried the pro model.

Bob : Alignment Issue

The sealer can make good seals over a range of different materials. However, the sealing arm is not mounted securely or has loosed substantially over time. It can move left to right when a seal is made resulting in the arm and base getting out of alignment with each other. If the person making the seal is not careful when using the sealer the arm and base do not line up so the seal quality is compromised. I don't believe the sealer was loose when it first arrived but after sealing about 25 pouches the sealing arm has loosed up.

This is an excellent impulse sealer. I have sealed several hundred Mylar bags and this machine hasn’t skipped a beat. Great price for a product that delivers. The 5mm seal is perfect for my needs. My wife is now interested and we will pick up the 8 inch Linsnfield Sealer.

DM : Not match for 8” Impulse sealer

Even though we ordered the 8” repair kit, had to be returned because it wasn’t the right size for our 8” Impulse sealer. The heat resistances were about 2/8” longer so it wasn’t a fit.

Not sure if the product isn’t made to specs or they sent the wrong size.

I cannot tell about the quality of the items since weren’t used.

BCT : Watch out for bad packaging

Great product if they are not damaged from packaging.

The first set I received all had kinks in them which prevents them from laying flat on the surface of the heat sealer .

The second set I received was also folded over in tbe package but had not been crushed causing kinks.

I wanted this because the sealing width is wider but even on high it is not strong enough to seal grow bags. My regular 2mm cheaper impulse sealer works much better. Also, when you press down it makes a weird clank noise.

Use this to seal mushroom substrate bags. The adjustable heat settings work well since some bags are thinner material than others. I am happy with the sealer.

I was surprise at the quality..
It had that nice heavy feel to It.
But the most important was the the strength of the 5mm. seal at the low setting of level 3 out of 1 to 8 levels.
I sealed 4 layers of 2.5 mils. I couldn't pull the seal apart. (That was 10 mils. total poly mushroom spawn bag @ level 3)
I would definitely say yes to anyone anytime.
