Uses and Tips for Optimal Results:


Step 1 Plug into the power	Step 2 According to the thickness of bags, adjust the sealing timer to 1-8; and level 3 is enough for most bags; Thicker the bag, higher the level required.	Step 3 No warmup time needed, put the bag on the machine flat.	Step 4 Impulse the press part for sealing; When the signal light is off automatically, keeping the handle pressed down for a few seconds would get optimal results.

For Your Information:

Level 3 is enough for most applications; thicker the bag, higher the level required;
The red light is not predictable when plug into the power. It is only predictable when keep the handle pressed down on bottom. This is a protection for sealer;
When seal is done, the red light will go off. Don't release the handle at once and keep the handle pressed down for a few seconds to get optimal results. If you use a 12-inch sealer, put your hand on the middle of the handle would be better;
Replacements should be replaced when the PTFE (cloth) appears warn, discolored or sealing isn't perfect;
Never wipe the heat seal strip with a wet cloth.

Answer: I personally don't recommend this apparatus for that type of medium. You would surely burn out your elements prematurely. You need to look for a different type of sealer. You might want to use a sonic sealer for that type of plastic instead of heat anyway.

Answer: For the nature of your question, yes it will dmage the strip due to the stickness of the honey. Otherwise, Put parchment paper in addition to where BOTH sealing strip is placed. That way if it squeezes out, it sticks to the parchment paper. Again, I am NOT responsible for anything that happens to your product.

Answer: I sure if it leaks out onto the Teflon it could damage it. I use cellophane bags and it seals beautifully. Perhaps if you don’t fill to full it won’t over flow.

Answer: I don't know the answer of that question as it deviates from the original design of the sealer. The sealer does a great job in its original design, however if you desire to experiment beyond it's original design, it would be at your own risk.

Answer: may be better for cello because never worked with me on poly bags the regulator is not good. The regulator jump from low to very high temperature to burn the Polly bags.

Answer: Mine also reads model 300. , 300-400 w, . It has been working fine. I believe the 900- 1000 w description was incorrect. Cheaper models do 2 mil width instead of 5 mil. I believe the cheaper models use around 300 watts and this model uses as much as 400 watts. 1000 watts would make the room temperature rise like a space heater.

Answer: You may need to use a higher level on the sealing timer. Also make sure you are continuing to press down for a few additional seconds after the signal light has turned off to get optimal results. On thicker material, I have found it helpful to do a second impulse immediately after the first one without moving the material. It has helped make sure that it creates a nice complete seal. I would recommend that you do some test seals using the above steps in order to become more comfortable with the sealing of thicker product. Hope this helps.

Answer: Thank you for your question. In my experience with this unit, I have never had any type of issue. It has a dial on the back that you can set and that is how long the impulse of heat is on for. It does not continue to apply heat after the time limit setting that you have set.

Answer: 4 to 4.5 is where I find that it works best. If you find that is not working like you like you could go up or down by 1. For best results keep the handle compressed down on the mylar in place for an extra 2-3 seconds after the impulse timer goes off. That is very helpful to secure a great seal.

Answer: 3 to 4, take a bag and experiment with it. Start at the closed end with different settings and see how it seals, hold handle down for a few seconds after "click" for better seal.

Answer: The 8 inch sealer will come with a 2mm sealing strip. I bought the 5mm refills available on Amazon. The crimps on the end were not strong enough for proper use but if you crimp the ends again with a small pair of Vice Grips they will work and last for a long time. The 5 mm sealing strip I am now using has sealed many thousands of bags in the last 3 years and has not been replaced yet. YHE 2mm has a much shorter life span

This is a great little heat sealer. I love it. It works quickly and efficiently. The only reason it lost a star is how bad it reeked of chemicals for the first week it was in my house. I purchased this heat sealer to replace a cheaper one I had bought last year. The cheaper version has a piece of metal that gets bent over time and you have to constantly take it apart and unbend it back to its original position for the impulse to be activated correctly. I use the heat sealer to seal decorated sugar cookie cello bags.

The seller has contacted me and has replaced the original unit very quickly after I left a review.. Perhaps the first unit I received was a return that was damaged by the original purchaser before being returned. I can only guess. In any case, the seller has made right by replacing the damaged unit.

I can say that I feel safe buying from this seller. They reached out to me to make things right and in the end I have a sealer that works.

I have changed this rating from one star to three stars. I simply cannot give a top review due to having to replace the product. Also, the replacement unit has some scratches on it and frankly just doesn't look like a new product. It works and perhaps at this price point that's as good as it gets from an inexpensive import like this but I just don't look at it and think 5 star product.

If I didn't need this right away to finish packing product for a Christmas sale, I would have returned it. As it came out of the package i doubt if it would have done anything besides blow a circuit breaker.

When i took it out of the box i noticed it didn't sit flat on the table. I turned it over and found that the bottom cover didn't actually fit and was scratched and dented as if it had been beaten with a hammer or rock. I took the cover off so i could repair it and make it fit.

When i looked inside i found a lever bent and twisted such that the heating element would have shorted out to the handle if i had tried to use it. I can only speculate whether it would have shocked me or blown the circuit breaker.

It is absolutely ridiculous that I should have to rebuild a tool before using it. How many people have been shocked by similarly damages or defective sealers?

This sealer will make my life easier and my business more productive. It is heavy which means I won't need an extra hand to keep it in place, which will make using it easier. The multiple levels of heat are what I was looking for. My product is thicker than your standard sealing bags which require a higher temperature. I’ve had this heat sealer for maybe a month and go to used it to seal my bath bomb and it wouldn’t come on. That’s when I discovered the crack and I’m livid. It’s the cheapest plastic material ever. They make you think you’re getting a special heat sealer that will last longer then impulse and that bUll S@%t this company should be ashamed of themselves.

I loved how this worked for me, made quick work of sealing, however it lasted one month! One month and maybe two dozen seals so not worth it. It shorted out and stopped working when I went to seal items.

**updated: I contacted customer service which are very good. They helped get a new product to me that works fantastically. I hope the same issue does not happen but as far as customer service goes they are great.

Had a samll issue with Amazon damaging the sealer during shipping reachech out and customer services was top notch. They sent a replacement the same day. I have used the sealer and enjoy it the 5mm seal vs a 2mm seal whish they had in in a 8in 5mm seal. Comes with extra fuses and heating strips. Will definitely buy again when i need one and will recommend to friends. Grat product for a great price with amazing customer service even after the purchase.

I've owned a number of impulse / heat sealers, and the pro is far and away the best. I use it to wrap cookies individually and it can handle the large quantities at once without needing a "time-out" like other heat sealers I've used. I had an issue with my sealer not working and the customer service to replace it was very quick and friendly! Very easy to work with! :)

I bought this for a specific purpose that I haven't even tried yet. We keep it on the counter in the kitchen and reseal EVERY bag after opening. I am amazed at how fresh this keeps our greens that used to spoil in a day or two. Awesome! It'll be great for any sealing use.

DM : Not match for 8” Impulse sealer

Even though we ordered the 8” repair kit, had to be returned because it wasn’t the right size for our 8” Impulse sealer. The heat resistances were about 2/8” longer so it wasn’t a fit.

Not sure if the product isn’t made to specs or they sent the wrong size.

I cannot tell about the quality of the items since weren’t used.

Jnsystems : When Sealing Plastic, the Strip on the machine cost a lot. And no overheat protection?

Yes the machine can seal plastic and other stuff but the 8" Sealer Replacement Element Grip, Impulse Sealer Repair Kits Heat Seal Strips is really costly so i used paper instead for both side as the paper are 99.99999% cheaper then the strips alone. Yes, we use the sealer maybe a lot but the cost to replace the sealer strip is really expensive so i thought of it and had to use paper. The replacement strips are 1 dollar each but you have to buy 10 to get that price. If I left the strips and used it, I would have to replace it 15-30 times. Per 100 seals. Also now we have overheat issue. Back to tape!

We purchased this sealer for our Days for Girls Chapter. We seal PUL (polyurethane laminate) fabric on a setting of 5-8 depending upon the thickness of the PUL. The 5 mm seal is tight and secure.

The sealer arrived slightly damaged. Customer service was highly responsive. They sent me a code allowing me to purchase a new sealer. Two days later the new sealer arrived. Thank you Moo from customer service and LinsnField for providing a great impulse sealer.
