Uses and Tips for Optimal Results:


Step 1 Plug into the power	Step 2 According to the thickness of bags, adjust the sealing timer to 1-8; and level 3 is enough for most bags; Thicker the bag, higher the level required.	Step 3 No warmup time needed, put the bag on the machine flat.	Step 4 Impulse the press part for sealing; When the signal light is off automatically, keeping the handle pressed down for a few seconds would get optimal results.

For Your Information:

Level 3 is enough for most applications; thicker the bag, higher the level required;
The red light is not predictable when plug into the power. It is only predictable when keep the handle pressed down on bottom. This is a protection for sealer;
When seal is done, the red light will go off. Don't release the handle at once and keep the handle pressed down for a few seconds to get optimal results. If you use a 12-inch sealer, put your hand on the middle of the handle would be better;
Replacements should be replaced when the PTFE (cloth) appears warn, discolored or sealing isn't perfect;
Never wipe the heat seal strip with a wet cloth.

Answer: For the nature of your question, yes it will dmage the strip due to the stickness of the honey. Otherwise, Put parchment paper in addition to where BOTH sealing strip is placed. That way if it squeezes out, it sticks to the parchment paper. Again, I am NOT responsible for anything that happens to your product.

Answer: I sure if it leaks out onto the Teflon it could damage it. I use cellophane bags and it seals beautifully. Perhaps if you don’t fill to full it won’t over flow.

Answer: I don't know the answer of that question as it deviates from the original design of the sealer. The sealer does a great job in its original design, however if you desire to experiment beyond it's original design, it would be at your own risk.

Answer: Mine also reads model 300. , 300-400 w, . It has been working fine. I believe the 900- 1000 w description was incorrect. Cheaper models do 2 mil width instead of 5 mil. I believe the cheaper models use around 300 watts and this model uses as much as 400 watts. 1000 watts would make the room temperature rise like a space heater.

Answer: You may need to use a higher level on the sealing timer. Also make sure you are continuing to press down for a few additional seconds after the signal light has turned off to get optimal results. On thicker material, I have found it helpful to do a second impulse immediately after the first one without moving the material. It has helped make sure that it creates a nice complete seal. I would recommend that you do some test seals using the above steps in order to become more comfortable with the sealing of thicker product. Hope this helps.

Answer: 4 to 4.5 is where I find that it works best. If you find that is not working like you like you could go up or down by 1. For best results keep the handle compressed down on the mylar in place for an extra 2-3 seconds after the impulse timer goes off. That is very helpful to secure a great seal.

Answer: 3 to 4, take a bag and experiment with it. Start at the closed end with different settings and see how it seals, hold handle down for a few seconds after "click" for better seal.

The crimps on the end were not strong enough for proper use but if you crimp the ends again with a small pair of Vice Grips they will work and last for a long time. The 5 mm sealing strip I am now using has sealed many thousands of bags in the last 3 years and has not been replaced yet. YHE 2mm has a much shorter life span

Its a good cheap sealer, but you cant run too many bags through them for too long. The body is plastic but it seems tough enough. If you have 10-30 bags to seal then you are fine but if you do them too fast or too many then it has a problem. The seal is decent and in some ways its a fine sealer. Not recommended for heavy professional use.

I was surprised that the decal that says the companies name just started peeling off right away. it was really bad.

This product worked great for my project. I used this to seal sheet protectors to make smaller compartments to hold photos. I found that I needed to hold the bar down a little longer. I would hold the bar down for 5 seconds and I got a perfect seam. I did this to about 40 pages and they came out perfect everytime. Super easy to use.

We have used this for about three weeks and sealed over 300 Mylar pouches. Be aware that 90% of the sealers out there have only a 2mm sealing width to keep your bags closed. Those cheaper models may look the same , but they are not as good for professional airtight seals. This LinsnField 12 inch has a 5mm sealing width. We previously had an 8 inch 5mm sealer from another brand , but it wasn't as good as this model. The LinsnField is a great value.

I purchased this heat sealer to replace a cheaper one I had bought last year. The cheaper version has a piece of metal that gets bent over time and you have to constantly take it apart and unbend it back to its original position for the impulse to be activated correctly. I have never used a sealer before, this worked perfect, heated up quickly & sealed with nice sharp edges. some of the plastic stuck to the sealer edge & i had to clean it off for continued seal as the plastic left on turn brown & i didn't want to mark my bags. During this clean up i did damage to the silicon cover over the bottom element. I contacted the company & they were great. Honestly its a long time since i encountered spectacular customer service. i highly recommend the sealer & this company.

If you’re using this for sealing spawn bags don’t buy it. Spend the extra money on an American product that is way better quality. I had to seal each bag 20 times not kidding to even kinda feel like it was decent. A zip tie does a better job then this. Will be returning.

I really wanted to loke this sealer , nice wide seal , didn't get so hot it melted the bag . The not hot enough is its real drawback , within a few bags , it takes 3 to 4 sealing presses to finally seal .
They just don't give it enough power to actually sesl that pretty wide seal .
Bought another sealer at the same time fro Amazon , as a backup , $22.00, totally outperformed this $100.00 paperweight. Went to return it , discovered it had a 30 day return window, oh well , I can buy 4 of the cheapo sealers and still have money lefy over !

I have only used this a few times on Mylar bags just to see if it worked. So far it’s working well. I will be putting it to the test soon. I’m hopeful it will hold up well. The flat iron method is hard to use and not practical. The plastic fumes when using flat iron is so toxic. I couldn’t stand it. I’m hopeful this will be a better solution. It seems to be made very well and from what I can tell this seller stands behind his product. I will update if I have any issues after using it for multiple uses:

SAM : Not white

I bought a blue version of this originally which was more a tacky office style 70s blue hue (perhaps a different brand- same style everything else). So I exchanged for the “white” and it’s gray. In case anyone is trying to have their electronics match. Otherwise the product is great. They need to either send the correct colored item or they need to adjust their photos and color options.

I need a sealer that can seal through three layers close to 6ml. At first this worked amazingly....after a week of use it quit .producing no heat, I checked the fuse and it was defective...just kept spinning ,couldn’t remove it so I sent it back. I don’t recommend this item.

bdmcdona : How did I live without this?

I use this constantly, on all different types of bags. It would be nice if there was a hook locking the handle in place while not in use. Which would make it easier to move around. I have had bag sealers in past where you had to keep product in bag while getting bags lined up on pegs.

Open bag, still stuff in it, press and done. Make decorated cookie, throw in bag, seal and easy transport. No mess, no fuss just orderly final product.

This sealer is worth every penny! I am very happy with this purchase. There is a slight learning curve when it comes to the setting, bag thickness, and how to remove the bag once sealed. The product works great and better than any of the other brand of sealers I have purchased before.

I first received a defective sealer, it only sealed 2 out of 4 times I pressed down. I took a video and sent it to the customer support at Linsnfield, they were super nice and offered me a completely new machine and a 20 dollar partial refund. The machine is great, having a 5mm seal changes everything. Would definitely buy again :)

Total garbage. Seems like it's working great, beautiful, flawless seals. They aren't actually sealed though. More than half of our bags lost pressure during incubation.
A foodsaver I got out of the trash outperforms this 100 times over.

The light isn't right it comes on for about 1 second. The strip of material stuck to the first bag and pulled loose. It says will seal up to 5 mm but my mushroom bags don't seal on the gusset folds. My bags are .03mm so on the folds that's .03 x 4 witch is 1.2 mm.. Guess I should have tried the pro model.

DM : Not match for 8” Impulse sealer

Even though we ordered the 8” repair kit, had to be returned because it wasn’t the right size for our 8” Impulse sealer. The heat resistances were about 2/8” longer so it wasn’t a fit.

Not sure if the product isn’t made to specs or they sent the wrong size.

I cannot tell about the quality of the items since weren’t used.

Super easy to use but mine does not seal evenly. The side closest to the hinge gets hotter than the side with the adjustment knob so it makes a better seal on one side than the other, still does the job but was expecting better for the price

Dman : Amazing 12in sealer with a 5mm seal

Had a samll issue with Amazon damaging the sealer during shipping reachech out and customer services was top notch. They sent a replacement the same day. I have used the sealer and enjoy it the 5mm seal vs a 2mm seal whish they had in in a 8in 5mm seal. Comes with extra fuses and heating strips. Will definitely buy again when i need one and will recommend to friends. Grat product for a great price with amazing customer service even after the purchase.
