Answer: I use a medium bait casting rod and reel.It depends on what your fishing for. I use them for largemouth bass.
Q:
which is the best combo to buy for lake bass and or trout? First timer here.
Q:
Do you use bait with these?
Answer: These are the bait. They are hard, plastic, segmented baits with 2 treble hooks. Attach, cast and catch fish.
Answer: Yes and found that if you take the o ring off and tie to the bait it worked better.
Answer: No. The lure does all the work. It mimics a small fish in the water.
Answer: No! But I would’t buy theses anyway If I were you.
Q:
Had issues when casting. How do u guys keep the line from wrapping around the hooks
Answer: I use an open faced spinning reel loaded with 20 pound braid with a six foot 17 pound fluorocarbon leader. Never had a problem with tangled hooks.
Answer: Don’t use any sinker and try to use a lighter line
Q:
father asked for rapala xrapjointed shad hard lures. Im looking to get him something similar along with it.can someone explain if these are kindasame
Answer: The Truscend lure is indeed similar to a rapala xrapjointed lure. I have used them for bass and true story....the first time I ever used one of them, one the first cast, I hooked very big large mouth (biggest largemouth bass I have every caught). It has a very real swimming action when moving at the right speed. That part is not hard to figure out. They are very well built and have an OK treble hook. The only problem with these lures is that if they are not cast correctly the front treble hook tends to bind on your leader. Otherwise, a great buy for the money and would make a great gift.
Q:
How many pike in one order?
Answer: You get three per pack. Great quality
Answer: Their are 3
Answer: 3
Q:
Do they rattle?
Answer: No rattles.
Answer: No they don't

Q:
do these bait work to catch butterfly peacock bass?
Q:
The 3 piece combo is showing as "pre-order", with a release date in November. I see pics in the reviews section of this combo. Available now???
Answer: Can’t help you with that
Q:
Which should i buy for catching bass?
Q:
What's the best way to tie them to the line? Like what knot would I use?
Answer: Uni Knot
Q:
Do they snag easy ?
Answer: Yes they snag easy and I haven't caught anything on them
Answer: No if you fish the edge of weed beds, the do not go very deep so no snagging on the bottom, at least that is my experience
Answer: Not so far. Glides thru pretty well.
Answer: Yes
Q:
Made in the USA?
Q:
Do these work for Rainbow Trout? If so, which lure?
Answer: I’m sure they would if you got the smallest one, but mainly for bass pike etc
Q:
All three come in the 15.99 order?
Answer: yes friend ,3 pcs come is 15.99
Q:
Do these types of lures sink easily or will I have to add a bullet weight to it?
Answer: Sink a a slow to medium rate. If you want to go deep, use a weight or just wait a few seconds
Answer: They sink easily
Answer: I troll these at 3.2 to 3.5 if I’m jerk or ripping. They will float and don’t sink fast.
Q:
Is good for fishing freshwater bass?
Answer: i catch some bass already
Q:
Do they come with the hooks?
Answer: yes
Q:
your add says 2-4 inch size I need to know which ones are the 2inch size thanks.
Answer: 2
Q:
is it for saltwater or frish water .. and what is the deepth ?
Answer: You could fish both. But in my opinion it's more designed for freshwater. It is a lip less bait so they dont dive. To get a deeper depth you will need to slow your retreavel and how high or low you hold your rod tip.
Q:
Would these work for catching small bass from a pond or are they too big?
Answer: I think they are to big for small bass
Answer: Yes
Q:
Are this lure for bass fishing?
Answer: yes
Q:
Can anyone help me get the correct combo c that I ordered before a negative review had to be made ? Ones I received were junk colors and no help
Answer: Sorry my colors were vibrant and had fish following in on most cast!
Q:
Is there any way to contact the seller of this item
Answer: Yes
Q:
Why wont my lures "swim?" I've retrieved fast and slow. Advice?
Answer: I had to try different line types and weights to find the “sweet spot”. Works best for me with a spinning rod/reel rather than a bait caster. 6lb max mono works for me. Also if yours tends to lean over slightly to either side, try bending the eyelet slightly in the direction of the lean and see if that helps it swim straighter. Bur never forget, even if your bait won’t swim, a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work;)
Answer: I had same problem did not work at all was disappointed with these lures
Q:
Are there any segmented lures smaller than 3.5"
Q:
How many out of the 3 lures are 2 inches?
Answer: All 3 of mine were the same size. Bout 2 inches. Maybe slightly longer.
Answer: All of them are the same size
Answer: All three are the same size
Product reviews of TRUSCEND Fishing Lures for Bass Trout Segmented Multi Jointed Swimbaits Slow Sinking Swimming Lures for Freshwater Saltwater Fishing Lures Kit
Beckie : The boyfriend loves these!
I bought these for my boyfriend to replace one of his favorite lures he lost and these have quickly become his new favorites. They "swim" like real fish and have just the right amount of reflection to catch the attention of almost any fish. They are made well and the treble hooks are very sharp. I bought the pack that looks like natural fish colors as a gift. It was an excellent gift idea!
Daniel Angello : Great lure for the price!
Worked great for the price! This was my first time using this type of bait and caught my PB largemouth within the first two minutes of use. For reference I’m a size 10 shoe. The only reason I didn’t give it full stars is because the movement in the water isn’t always consistent but it got the job done. Definitely would recommend for the price!
Erin ;) : Meh
After a few casts the lure didnt function right
Amazon Customer : Great Bass Lure
Nice action. Good weight. Nice colors. Had to swim it and make it swim straight by adjusting the lead top fin. The Kevlar base is strong, but will get beat up with lots of snags, but that's to be expected. Can land 3 out of 4 strikes with this bait.
Craigers : Best Lure I’ve ever used and awesome results! A definite necessity for any tacklebox!
These Lures are completely legit! My first troll of the year with lead core jerking and Lake Placid lake at about 30 feet tagged these two beauties! A 15 1/2 and 35 inch lake trout and a 10 lbs. 30 inch laker. The action in the water is amazing and extremely lifelike! My new favorite Lure! I like these better than my Thompson flashers or the lake clear wobbler! I will use these all year long. I just want to say thank you to the Truescend company! You’re a fool if you don’t buy these and try them out!
Robert Morgan : Great !
Really nice product at an affordable price
Richard May : Do not work as advertised
I bought these with the hopes of catching some large base or other fish.
I live in Newport Vermont where we have Walleye and Pike and Largemouth Base.
I tried for two weeks to catch something off these and nothing worked.
I went back to Sinkos and was catching my fish.
Sarah Rayola : Worth a shot
They cast as well as a fart goes over in a crowded elevator. Action looks nice. Probably needs to be setup like a Texas rig to give it some dive. Color and construction are good. NO fish on my first outing with it. Fish weren’t hitting swim baits at all tho. I will continue to throw it though. I believe it swims nice enough to be a winner. Good price. Sharp hooks.
Erin ;) : Meh
After a few casts the lure didnt function right
R. Perez : Get these lures!
Lures are great the are light and look great. Their movement in water has to be seen than me trying to explain.
JO & MO : Catches fish; has beautiful presentation
You need to get about 10 or 15 casts in with one to kinda “break it in” and make it swim consistently. After that it looks beautiful in the water regardless of retrieval speed. You can stop and twitch it to make it look like injured and the presentation still seemed spot on.
Caught fish with it too....so that’s a plus.
Jordan : Awesome Bass Lures
I was pretty impressed when I got these!! Nice durable 3 pouch plastic container, very vivid and realistic looking, and the mobility is very smooth. I jiggled these to see their motion and I will say..... VERY life like! I highly recommend getting this to add to your tackle! Definitely can’t wait to use these in the ponds and rivers this spring/summer!
Robin : Very cool Bass Lure!
I have only used a few times so far but it is a great bass lure. Love how it feels when reeling it in. Had a couple bites, no fish yet, but need to find a great spot to cast.
Tyler : Maybe 2 feet deep at full swim!
I really love the movement in the water. It really does look like a real fish with the way it swims. The only catch is that I thought it would dive deeper! This is a possible 2 feet deep swimming lure!!!
Zachary Greenwell : Awesome swimbait!
I typically don’t leave reviews, but I had to for these! I literally opened the package, tied it on my line and went straight down to the water. I cast in and retrieved it one time and got an instant strike! I had nothing but good luck the rest of the time. I even had a pretty good sized bluegill take this bait on. Would definitely recommend!
Bill Jones : Looks natural
I was skeptic at first, but after use I have changed my mind. I was able to make fairly long cast using 15 pound braid. The retrieve was consistent and the lure presented a life like appearance. I have not caught any fish on it yet, but I'm sure it will happen. Pretty impressive to watch it "swim". I would buy again from this seller.
Seth Flaugher : Great Lure
Just got delivered today and after about 20 cast landed my first fish on these lures!
Xbox controller : they are pretty, like makeup on a pig....
don't swim anything like they claim...
Victor Moreno : Awesome!
These lures have proven themselves to me over and over. I’m a novice fisherman but these lures made me look like a pro. I highly recommended them. Both of these fish were caught with these lures near the Blanco River in Dripping Springs, TX.
Lawrence J. Knapp : Stripers
Striped bass love this lure.
Word Warrior : Multi Jointed Swimbaits
I haven't had a chance to use them yet so, I can really rate them for Durability and Value for the Money...
Paul Beemsterboer : Good Movement
These move well in the water, but could be a touch thicker or more dense of material. Paint jobs are good too
Crispy Chris : Good lure, weak hooks/rings
Hooks are super sharp,, and lured works great.. caught 2 mucky and a northern first day out.. Only flaw is the hooks and and rings are weak, so I would recommend replacing them, lost a good fish due to the hook bending and the rings were all oval shaped when I reeled in.
Taylor R. : Happy with quality for price and like that they come in their own case that is worth keeping.
Haven't used for fishing yet will update once ive actually used them. Color look good, have a good weight and balanced feel to them. Seem pretty sturdy, dont know how the breaks will do with snags but will update after use. Hooks are sharp but aren't as stiff as i would like they might bend of hooked on a hard snag will update after use. They come in a pretty solid, clear plastic case that could be thrown right in a backpack or tackle box or used for holding extra hooks or whatever if you have storage slots in a tackle box/bag for the lures. All and all without having actually gotten them in the water im pretty happy with them.
Ravox : They don’t swim
Im returning those baits do not swim like a swimbait should, they simply stay on its side when you are reeling , not god
AS : These catch swamp donkeys!!!
These catch lunkers... but the little ones like it too. I Have caught multiple 3 to 4 pound largemouth bass on these, so was pretty happy but then I caught this swamp donkey at 7lb 3oz and I knew this bait was legit. Only con so far is one of treble hooks broke and only has 2 hooks on it now but that's an easy fix. Had for about 2 months so don't know the true longevity but seems to be made well.
Edgar qg : 3 times the lure 3 times the disappointment.
I was excited about these lures and really thought I would slay on the water. But these lures SUCK! When I went to cast the first lure I could see the tail fly off as it was in the air. The other lures performed poorly the sank straight down and when I would feel them in the would swim sideways even when I would slightly bend the eye. Sticking to strike king and brands I know and trust.
BigBird8832 : Don’t Buy!!!
Well obviously I used them for bass fishing but bought these awhile ago and finally got around to using them now and absolutely crap after awhile being in the water and dry the fiber starts to rip and let alone I was fishing and got a small stick the treble hooks bent!!!
Al Yenk : Nicely made!
These are cool with some good play. I am looking forward to trying them out and will update when I get the big ONE!
Biggs : Smh dont buy
Sucks ,no swimming motion basically just pulling in the water no wiggle, my 3 buck Walmart lure works better smh
Tait Darby : Solid product, swims faster than Expected
Haven’t caught a fish yet, but it looks good in the water, just swims in way faster than expected which is hard to get bass to bite sometimes. Hopefully it’ll grow on me more. Solid product
Ravox : They don’t swim
Im returning those baits do not swim like a swimbait should, they simply stay on its side when you are reeling , not god
chanelle hayden : Crank bait
Crankbait is huge. The eyelet is at top of fish so it tends to want to pull the fish sideways instead of straight. It’s good for fishing off boat or kyak, but gets caught up in the weeds if fishing from shore.
thaynara : Great quality
This lure set makes a great gift for the angler in your life. Having five different ones to choose from makes it nice depending on the type of fishing they like to do. They are each a good size and great especially for bass fishing. The hooks or nice and sharp and ready to help you catch that fish that you want. The included carrying case is nice to keep them secure and the hooks away from things they should not be grabbing.
Jeffrey H. : Not impressed at all.
I caught big bass with a real worm. Just started to get too messy in the kayak. I got these based on the reviews. I have to say 4 trips on the lake and not even a bite. They do not swim real unless you real in very fast which defeats the purpose!
Amazon Customer : Not bad.
When using the lure it has a tendency to flip upside down when swimming. Works okay as a dying fish lure.
Tim Reppert : Awesome lures
I took these lures to Lake Powell and caught Large Mouth, Small Mouth, Catfish, and Walley. And all the fish were large. I lost two of the lures to fish that were obviously bigger than the line test I was using cause they broke me off. And one I lost to a bad knot, but that lure flew about 100 yards on the cast. As soon as I got home I ordered another set. These are so lifelike, and I think the fish thought so also.
bartjoebob : These work! Bought a set for each fisherman in the family as stocking stuffers
Slow retrieve with a jerk and the smallies seem to really go after these. They have a nice action swimming through and get real lively when jerked. Patterns are good. I have good luck staying close to the bottom or bouncing off it, but be advised with a double treble hook, they do like to get stuck. Worth ordering 2 packs and if you lose a couple the hard plastic case the come in can be used for other loose lures.
Tyler : Maybe 2 feet deep at full swim!
I really love the movement in the water. It really does look like a real fish with the way it swims. The only catch is that I thought it would dive deeper! This is a possible 2 feet deep swimming lure!!!
steven martin : Great lures
Great little lures! First time using them I caught a 3 1/2 pound pickerel with the one that looks like a bass. They have good action in the water and you can go deep or fish them near the surface depending on how fast you reel them in. Very pleased with my purchase.
Beverly Syrett : Just larger than I though
I was looking for something smaller they are nice
Erin ;) : Meh
After a few casts the lure didnt function right
Jeff : These actually work quite well.
Like many of the reviews posted here these do actually catch fish. I was fishing in Michigan and caught several nice largemouth bass on this lure. I caught a couple of smallmouth bass as well. I found the trick in the morning was to cast out where the fish were surfacing and chasing minnows, and would instantly get hit hard.
Some of the cons are that when casting the hooks can catch on the body segments and make the retrieval awkward. You also have to retrieve it quite quickly in order to get the lure to swim naturally, which is fine during warm water fishing and fall fishing when fish are active and feeding. During the spring and cooler temps when fish are less aggressive this lure would not be ideal.
They truly sink slowly which makes it great for weedy areas and shallow water.
Leok20 : They work for bass, that I know.
We caught plenty of bass. Only took two pics but the bass ate it up in the pond we were at. Caught about 20 bass between 3 of us in less than an hour. They were gobbling this little Jig.
M Hunt : Not durable; Risky for fish
BEWARE! 1st cast was beautiful swim action and a large snook trailing it. 2nd cast got hit but not hooked and didn’t feel right coming in. Could see the tail flopping over as I brought it in. Upon inspection it was clear the 4th vertebrae/section had torn rendering the lure useless. That has me immediately questioning; what would have happened had the fish been hooked? Based on the damage of just getting hit I have to expect the entire tail section would have come off and been lodged in the fish that got away. I’ve used Truscend swim lures in the past and they’ve been great. These however are poor quality and zero durability. They’re going back.
Kindle Customer : Speedy delivery
They arrived a day early which was great. They also look tasty if i were to walk a mile in a fishes feet. Unfortunately I didn't catch a thing first time out on the water., which was very limited due to fishing in my bathtub for about 2 minutes. I will give a more accurate review after i return from an actual day of fishing.
Richard May : Do not work as advertised
