Answer: They’re very simple to use, as they’re basically just a metal tube with a “spinner” blade on the end. As you drag the spinner across the body of water you’re fishing, the blade automatically spins. The vibrations and sounds of that spinning movement are easily picked up by fish in the area by their lateral line, and they then naturally swim closer to investigate – and bite.

Answer: Even the cheapest junky "spinner" or "rooster tail" style will catch fish. If you're not catching anything, the fish are most likely not in that spot or are just being exceptionally picky.

For some reason I'm unable to add photos when leaving a review now, but I was able to take these lures out for a trial run today and they worked quite well. They're not spinnerbaits as most (or at least I) know that term--they almost seem like a hybrid fly/spinnerbait to me--but they each include a flashy spinning blade that attracts fish as it moves through the water. I caught several small (~1 lb) bass on them today--on a Plusinno telescoping rod and reel, no less--and I saw a number of other followers, both bass and various types of sunfish.
The weights vary quite a bit across the lures included in this offering. With the lighter ones I pegged a small weight to the line to add casting distance without messing with the lures motion in the water. The heavier ones--in particular the one that looks like a VERY small crankbait--provide solid casting distance by themselves.
As with other Plusinno lures--their lipless crankbaits in particular come to mind--the treble hooks on these lures are SHARP! That's great for getting fish. Unfortunately it's also great for getting your fingertips, your pants/shorts, etc. But that's the price you pay for sharp hooks.
Overall a nice addition to my tackle box. I'm going back out tomorrow to explore some new spots and will definitely continue playing with these to see what else they attract.

I searched for "trout spinners" and this was toward the top of the search. However, these hooks are massive! They are actually for bass and would only hook trout from the ocean, or great lakes ...MAYBE a record brown from a large river. Either way, I know ultimately it was my fault for not double checking, since companies like this are notorious for adding tags that are only partially true, so they can hope to dupe people like me who are in a hurry.

I purchased these for my annual fishing trip to Arkansas to chase rainbows and browns. When I first got them, I was a bit disappointed with how they looked, but let me tell you right now the fish freaking love them. If you hit the white river, throw the red and gold. 70 fish in 2 1/2 days made it in the boat. I'd say 20-30 of those were from using these lures. The only down side is the hooks seem to rust quickly, but oh well.

My initial thoughts on these is they are going to be good lures. I am just getting started fishing again after being not doing it for years so my skill or lack of is taken into consideration. The lures themselves seem very well put together. I have tugged on the hooks and connections and seem solidly made. The colors and textures are similar to the higher priced lures at the sporting goods stores. I am looking forward to the spring summer when I will hopefully catch something with them. Based on price and quality I recommend.

Let me just start off, I'm a big fan of spinners as they always hit where I am at. It's the one lure you cannot go wrong with. Compared to Rooster Tails and Mepps, you actually get more for your money with this. Their designs actually reminds me more a bit of Mepps which are $4-$5 a piece.
These come in a very nice and simple bag to carry around these types of lures without the mess and tangle of throwing it in your tacklebox which is a huge plus and the bag itself is reusable for plenty of lure purposes if you were to lose all your spinners eventually. The assortment in here makes sure you have a specific one for every occasion AND more if you need to add additional spinners of your own arsenal to it.
Overall, great build quality, hooks are sharp and holding up quite well even after a couple of snags where my older Bluefox Flash Runners would have bent or broken treble hooks. A nice set as a gift and for yourself!

Great assortment of different colors and weights. Includes heavy and lightweight spinners with different spinner blade widths for slower and faster presentations. The narrow spinner blades work very well for rivers, the red one in the picture got me some steelhead bites. I also like the pouch coming with it, the carbine makes it easy to attach to a strap on the backpack and keeps it readily available. Hooks are relatively thin but sharp.

The inline spinner kit is absolutely amazing! I only have one complaint which is the hooks that come with the lures are too big I've switched them out with smaller treble hooks and they're now perfect! In the photo you can see the one of the spinners and next to it is the smaller treble hook.

I am a very novice fisherman and was headed out on a fishing trip with my 11 year old son. I bought this as a starter kit, not knowing what to expect. Even though I lost about 3-4 lures on the trip (I blame this to my lack of skill), we did catch some beautiful rainbow and brown trout with these.

They are good deal for the price. Due to summer heat, I could not catch any fish from banks. So cannot tell if the fish likes them. But the blade rotation was good. Just make sure you give a small jerk just when you begin to reel them in.

The set also includes 9 spinnerbaits that appear to be modeled after the Mepps Anglia with bronze ribbed bodies. 2 have small bodies, 5 with medium bodies, and 2 with large bodies. Size 6 and size 4 treble hooks are mixed among these baits.

The set includes 1 baitfish lure with a gold and orange colored metal minnow body with eyes. In my set the spinner is more of a leaf shape for this lure.
The zippered case provided is pretty substantial with a cloth outer body with foam inner lining that traps the treble hooks making it easy to keep these organized and safe and easy to select and use. A carabiner is attached that makes it easy to hang this off your belt, vest, or tackle bag.
These spinnerbaits have enough weight to cast out pretty effectively with a light action spinning rod. I've used them with both a 5 ½' and a 7' rod. The spinners have nice action and trolling depth varies with the speed of your return. The treble hooks are nice and sharp. My only chance to use these so far was as a pond stocked with rainbow trout, however I will be using these in a few weeks in a lake setting more appropriate for bass.
RexBeaver : Worked for me
Took these out on a local trout stream last week and was not disappointed. These are not Panther Martin quality lures but the trout didn't seem to care about the brand. No complaints with these - landed 3 sizable browns in my first hour fishing. The box that they come in is a little flimsy - the latch likes to come loose and needs to be bent back into place but thats not a big deal. For the price and quality these are well worth adding to your bag.

Purchased these for my husband. Nice set. Love the zip up pouch to house all the little trinkets to help avoid sticking myself! Nice quality and will fit nicely in his tackle box. Vibrant colors and seem to be well made.

Have tried a few of these - they spin reliably unlike many other cheap spinner blades. However once bent the spin can be lost and they do bend easier than rooster tails, etc. A little hard to pull out of the attractive carrying pack - sometime used pliers. A good value for the money, will likely restock when needed..

Hooks are rusty and not high quality. This is nice if you are building a tackle box for friends or family who you don’t want using your nice gear. That’s why I bought it. The lures have stickers on them instead of being painted.

I was using a swivel to avoid line twists so it's possible that could be interfering with spin, however, I wouldn't use an inline spinner without a swivel anyways. That being said, I was still able to land a few stocked trout with the neon colored ones.

Gnemok Yaj : AMAZING!!
THIS STUFF WORKS!! I am a believer!!! My first and 2nd cast literally got me my catch of the day! This particular spinner (the one pictured) has been great! I've used several of the other spinners and they seem to work perfectly fine. The only draw back is that they don't always spin, but who cares! YOU CAN STILL CATCH FISH!!

Hey, got my package today and was wondering if the lures are supposed to be so flexible? Also, a few of my hooks/a few of the lure stems where the spinner is attached came in bent to the side and seems they could break on a catch easily or may not spin/hook set correctly...

Gabriel Wood : An excellent portable spinner kit!
Hard to beat for a spinner bait kit! First off the kit its self is neat. You can clip it to your backpack or belt loop for wade fishing or walking the banks The smaller baits are about 2" long and the bigger ones are about 3". I was throwing the on a 6'6" medium heavy baitcasting setup using 10lb mono and was very happy with the performance. The smaller ones were a bit light for that setup, but I just put the wind to my back and it worked well. The 3" ones were plenty heavy enough to cast regardless. The action of the baits themselves was very good, I have used cheap spinners before that you could not get the blades to turn, but I DID NOT have this problem with this kit. After the bait hit the water just give it a slight twitch when starting the retrieve and you was spinning. The water displacement made by the blades was very good which created tension on my rod enough to bend the tip slightly and really feel the bait.
I got bit several times during my testing, and this generally isn't time time when spinner baits shine. I am very excited to be able to add these to my bait collection and will be bringing them out in the spring time for sure!!!

The narrow spinner blades work very well for rivers, the red one in the picture got me some steelhead bites. I also like the pouch coming with it, the carbine makes it easy to attach to a strap on the backpack and keeps it readily available. Hooks are relatively thin but sharp.
Wanderlust Addict : Good Looking Lures
My initial thoughts on these is they are going to be good lures. I am just getting started fishing again after being not doing it for years so my skill or lack of is taken into consideration. The lures themselves seem very well put together. I have tugged on the hooks and connections and seem solidly made. The colors and textures are similar to the higher priced lures at the sporting goods stores. I am looking forward to the spring summer when I will hopefully catch something with them. Based on price and quality I recommend.

This is a great set of Spinners with a variety of colors. The variety of spinners also range in weight. Works well, sturdy, and catches fish. Love the carry case for my hike and fish trips along with a Plusinno telescopic rod. The added plastic zip lock bag like pouch can be used as additional storage for terminal tackle for different situations.

Just received this product and haven't had the chance to field test them yet but after visual inspection they should catch fish. Seem to be well made and comes with a variety of sizes and colors. I wish that they were a bit smaller since I will mainly use them to target trout but the case is versatile enough that I can remove the larger spinners and put in a few smaller ones for my trout outings. Overall nice product.
Satoe : Portable and Great for Beginners!
I fished in Alaska for three summers, but then I switched to city fishing in Boston and I had no idea what to use. After doing some research, spinners seemed like the way to go, but what color? what shape? what size? This gives you a really nice carrying case with 16 spinners, which is a great alternative to carrying around a tackle box on the train. The lures are all the same size, but different colors and shapes. They are sturdy and I've caught several perch in the Charles River! It's such a good bang for your buck.
