Do these contain lead?

Answer: No, these spinners are made of metal.

Answer: Not made in the USA. Wish they were.

These lures are missing the bead on top of, & bottom of the spinner. I've made hundreds of these & learned that they won't spin correctly without it

Are these designed to withstand salt water?

Answer: I have used them in salt water but I'm sure they are rinsed well with fresh water and totally dry before putting them away. I do clean off any visible rust on any of my equipment and use just a dab of fine oil as needed.

Answer: They are barbed so saltwater use is limited to local regulations. FYI caught 7 trout on white spinner yesterday.

These we a great alternative to the more expensive rooster tails. They have great action and colors.

I cannot recommend this stuff. It's easy enough to look at something like this and think that a lure is a lure, or that if a couple of them don't work it's still a good value. I'm here to tell you that none of them actually function that good whatsoever. I spent money on these, when I could have simply gotten a panther Martin or something worthwhile for a few bucks more. Buyer beware.

Good value for the price, I really like the storage box.
These lures catch trout. The reason for 4 stars; these lures are very light weight. They do not cast as far, or go as deep as similiar size lures such as roostertails, especially the small size. But at 1/3 the price, good lures to use near snags.

Not sure why, but the mirror doesn't spin, so the lure doesn't flash while retrieving. Haven't gotten a single bite on these, even in my hottest fishing spots.

I was looking for a variety of inexpensive trout lures for an upcoming fishing trip. These looked like they filled the bill. If they work that will be all I asked. They have good coloring and patterns. The wire and hooks are light weight. I hope they hold up.

Well I received the box filled with lures and all seemed well. Every individual lure was wrapped, kudos on them to help with lowering the chance of rust. Lures seem sturdy and hooks seem to be nice quality, no complaints on them yet. Biggest and only complaint is I intended on keeping the lures in the box they came in, but lo and behold the hinge on the lid broke on my second time opening it.

Got these to use in a area where I snag on rocks from time to time. Got tired of replacing more expensive ones. They don't have good movement/ action. But I have caught a few fish with them. If you're not fishing where you get snagged a lot, just buy more expensive ones. They run smoother. These are good for throw away. If I get snagged I just cut the line and get the next one.

Caught a northern and a few bass the first day i used them. Multiple sized spinners and well weighted. Tried in a different lake and had the same luck. Only small issue i found was one of the spinners had a largehook on it that causes the lure to wobble, but i threw a smaller hook on and it's all good now. Plus the box is small enoughto keep in the kayak without getting in the way

Work great and are a great price. Catches bass very well. The hooks are sharp, so if you are fishing in a very weeded area, you may get stuck and possible lose the spinner.

The variety and quality of the lures is what I 'd expect for the price. However, the storage case is terrible. It was cracked in several places and the plastic 'hinge' on one side was snapped right off. ... The Amazon box was in perfect condition, so the case issues had nothing to do with packing or delivery. (Luckily I have a vest case that I transferred them to. If you plan to use the case they came in, you might want to purchase something else.

Update: Received second pair of these first pair came defective. Once I got the new pair, I went out to go fish at a local pond. Caught me a nice Bass in less than 5 min with the white one.

2 days ago I caught a 4 pound 5 oz brown trout from shore (on the 1/8th oz spinner with the red gold and green spinner blade and the chartreuse tail)... 22 inches thats my record fish!! Out on Irondiquoit bay on Lake Ontario at the inlet to the creek as the trout are going upstream now. This is one of my favorite lures now and has caught me other fish before too. These are great roostertails, I have two sets for myself and just bought a set for my cousin for Christmas... maybe an early Christmas present. I have only started fishing again after maybe 30 years this past August, and these roostertails work better than anything else i have tried... put a little Liquid Mayhem shad scent on the blade and body and cast them out!!!
