These swimbaits are one of the best lures I have ever purchased. I have had them for little over a month and laned so many bass. I also had a pike on the line with one that had to be at least 8-10lbs but it came loose after the beast jumped out of the water. I hope to catch something like that soon as I use them more but would highly recommend to add these to your tackle box.

these things actually work, and they can catch fish. well, bass, although i did catch one bluegill on it. the action is nice, it sputters just enough to notice and floats so you don't have to start your retrieve immediately and you can pause in the middle and twitch it if the fish has bad aim.
that's the good, now the bad. i think the hooks it comes with are a bit on the small side, i think bigger hooks would increase the hook up rate and make it harder for them to throw. not sure what larger hooks would do the action though. don't throw it in any kind of leaves or surface grass or algae. if something like a stray strand of grass on the front hook or a glop of algae blocks the prop's ability to spin freely it will turn the lure into a very very efficient line twisting machine. you may as well cut twisted part off and and re-tie which sucks. and lastly, the blades of prop are separate and fold up when a fish hits (per description im not sure if that works or matters) but they are held on by screws. those screws seem quite prone to backing out during use. keep an eye on them.
they make a larger size which may be better if you are fishing a bait caster, this size will work if you have a bait caster and rod you can cast light weights with but would probably work better on a spinning setup.
bottom line, even with all those issues, if you like top water action, this bait has a nice one, its pretty cheap since you get three per pack, and I did put fish in the boat plus, lets face it, the blow up on the bait is the fun part of top water so even the ones I missed or that threw the hook (about half of them) were fun and exciting. when i loose or destroy these, I will probably be willing to purchase more if they are still around.

These worked just like I expected, they casted far and floated the whole time. They made the perfect splashes which enticed all types of fish, I caught my first striper while teaching my friend how to fish with it, “alright so these are supposed to be really good, what you do is you cast it out and as you bring it back in just….. fish on!” ???? one thing I would change is the sharpness of the hooks, I lost about 5 from them jumping out of the water, maybe it was just me setting the hook wrong but I hardly loose them on normal hooks so that lead me to think it was just the sharpest. That doesn’t take away from the fact that I had 5 on in under 30 minutes ????

Just what I was looking for. <akes a nice plopping sound and wake as the lure is retrieved!

It short of has a short far cast with my other lures. It a bit on the light side. It does cast half way from 75 Feet to 80 Feet with a 6 1/2 Foot Medium Heavy Pole From Ugly Stick. Using A spinning real for this lure. It does look real and movement is very good. I haven't caught a fish on it yet. Because it was early spring and the water was muddy and the water temps was around 43F. It does feel like a fish and swim well.
The Lure does have Good movement. But the main issue with it. Is it will float on top reeling half way when reeling in a fast short pace. But I've never used this type of lure. It kind of too light on this type of lure the fall rate is slow. I am using a clip for this lure.
So I'm kind of a Noob at lure fishing But when I do catch a fish with a lure it a rare encounter.
UPDATE: I caught a fish with this lures. And Boy it can catch bass with it.
