how many feet goes down to the bottom of the water

Answer: they run 2 to 3 feet under the water.

Are these any good for surf fishing?? i imagine if more depth is need a small lead weight could be added.. thanx!!

Answer: THEY ARE MUCH TOO SMALL AND LIGHT WEIGHT FOR SURF FISHING IN MY OPINION.

Answer: Suspending but they dive as well. They are not floaters.

Answer: don't know the actual weight but they are very lite. you would need a real light line to get any distance on these.

Answer: no it is an assorted set.

Is the action comparable to the rapala x rap?

Answer: it is very much so comperable to the rapala X rap, the only thing I would change with these is maybe the hooks, but so far as is, they are getting plenty of hits and hooking just fine.

Answer: much lighter than the X rap but still has a nice wobble side to side roll. you will have to use a light line on a spinner or baitcaster to get any distance on them. overall the finish and quality are real nice.

Answer: yes, action is basically the same as x-rap...however this item is only 3 inches long

These have been pretty good. A lot of the colors are a bit odd and not what I'd choose but I've caught plenty using them and you don't feel bad when you lose one. 1 of them is full of water. Hopefully the rest stay water tight. It could have cracked from a fish anyway

They catch fish, hooks are sharp but I replaced them with a size up (size 6 or 4), I tie my own trebs so no biggie, its actually something I expect to do with anything less than Rapala lures which come with VMC hooks stock.

Caught lots of Smallis with these, some of the bills were cracked, but it didnt seem to mess with their performance. At the end of the day fish aren't that smart. The bodies are definitely good, just a shame the dive bills were cracked. Thats my only real issue, since I dont take hooks into account (just replace them its easy/cheap).

For 13$ I'd say pretty good for how many you get and the action is good enough, I know everyone is comparing this to Rapala X-Rap, honestly the x rap is on a whole new level, but these do the job, take into account you get 1 or maybe 2 XRaps for the same price as these, all things considered, ive caught bronzers with these and thats what I wanted.

As a keen lure fisherman, i was disappointed in this product. They are brilliantly coloured, a nice size, but sadly dont swim in the water well.
Ideal for a beginner lure fisherman, value for money? Yes, but if you want better lures, best to pay a bit more.

These lures are great, Rapala Xrap XR8 clones. With minor fixes you can turn them into fantastic lures. See my other sougayilang lure review if interested in that. The bonus is that they come with a feathered treble hook. Smaller than I like my jerkbaits in general, but they have their applications.
