I figured I'd ask this for fun: what do the five biggest bass that you've ever weighed in during a tournament weigh, as if they were all part of the same bag. Mine would be about 27lbs.
What about your five biggest bass ever? I'm around 30.
I'd like to hear from everyone! I know that some folks that fish big bass factories will be higher, so let us know where you live. I'm in southeastern Pennsylvania.
48lbs thanks to a 13 kicker. I could see where some of these guys would have 55-60 in their best five. I wish.
Not in a tournament, because I have never fished one, but my lifetime bag would be 52lb 2 oz.

I guess I should have started thinking about this 30 years ago, because it's way too late for me to dig out all those old tournament records to figure out an exact number. So many big bass pots, but two do stand out and would have to be included.
July 1994 - 6.47lbs and 6.05lbs in the same bag. Both largemouth flipping slop/pads with a paddle tailed worm. Crooked Lake near Delton, Michigan.
Oct. 1998 - 5.75lbs and 5.73lbs in the same bag. Both smallmouth, first two casts of the day on a Pop-R. I didn't even have the trolling motor down until the first one was in the box! Green Lake near Interlochen, Michigan.
I know it would be over 29lbs but less than 30lbs as I can't remember another big bass pot won with a fish over 6lbs.
More important to me was the run of big bass pots I had in 1998. Besides ending the tournament year with the two smallies stated above, I started the year out winning 9 of the first 11 pots across three different clubs. I won 13 big bass pots that year out of 24 tournament days.

I put 27#s in the boat on China Lake, ME back in 2004...i have not weighed a 20# bag since
I had a 7.2 largie in that bag along with two 5+ smallies
Led after day one. On day two i struggled to land a limit. I ended up with a limit of 1-2 lbers. Finished 4th 36lbs...i was less than impressed lol

I've caught five over 8 (including an 8-15), but never cracked the 9 barrier. My five biggest are right at 42.

I don't honestly remember what my 5 biggest fish I weighed in during tournaments weighed. My biggest 5 fish combined would have gone 40lbs 12ozs. My biggest single day limit (other than Mexico), was 30 pounds 2 ounces on a cold February day several years ago in Eastern Kansas.

I'm at 52.25 with an 11-11, a 10-11, a 10-5, a 10-1 and a 9-8.
I'm hoping to cull out that dink as soon as possible . . .

Don't be embarrassed! Everyone starts somewhere. I can tell you for sure, everyone on this thread at some time had a lifetime limit of 24lbs.

A kid that I mentored fishing tournaments until he went to collage had a sack in Florida with a guide that was 55.6 lbs for 5 fish
His big one was 12#s 13 oz. that was featured in the lunker club in BASS magazine ..3 others well over 10 and a 9.9
My best Michigan 5 is around 27

Fishing in Ohio is not the same as in the south. Thats a good limit. I'm real proud of my top five and had a fantastic case of bass thumb .

So that's about 23 pounds, give or take a little.
And consider the fact that I've only been bass fishing for a year, that's not bad. This is not counting the multiple 3 pound+ fish I caught during my nightcrawler days.
Any time one can break 20 lbs plus for 5 bass there is no need to be embarrassed!
Those tournament sacks of mine were on Toledo Bend a place a have 45 years experience; the double d's were over a 55 year span.

Yea when I said I was embarrassed it was meant to be mostly satirical! But yea fishing up here can get tough. I have on multiple single days caught 22lbs+ which I can say is pretty awesome though not too unexpected on the big lake.
Top 5 tourney fish 42 and change.
Best single day was 35 and change. 3 over 8 and two over 5 out of the same brush pile.
Theres some confusion here. I read it top five in one day tournament and non tournament .
My 5 best ever would be somewhere between 24 - 28 lbs.
According to my scale: 67 pounds..
