What is your largest bass?
It would be great if you posted the location, bait, and weather of the time when you caught your bass.
smallmouth bass are included!
My biggest was about 16". I caught it at a farm pond on a Pikie knock-off that I made. I don't remember what time it was, but it was sunny with a slight breeze. Here's the bait:
Mine was caught at a tournament using a brush hog, watermelon candy color in the summer at about 9:30 in the morning. She was just over 4lbs.

Sounds like a nice fish! My personal biggest was a 23 1/2 inches long.
Why is this question so important that you feel the need to start a poll? Are you working on a research paper?
She weighed 8-15, but don't know the length. :-/

Same reason you have to take your precious time to post on this thread I guess?
Is making the poll wrong? If you want you can vote on it.
There is a running thread requesting information on largest bass caught that has already been put up this week. It comes up monthly(Or daily, weekly, or hourly).
Do a search.

wow.
Quotewow.
x2, you can cut the sarcasim n bitterness with a knife lately
in any event mine was bout 24" to 25" and a chunky one thru the ice, I have some others that were as big but never realyy measured or weighed.
in your terms,
i dunno????
....never measure them, only putt'em on the scale.
I only measure the length of a bass to determine whether it is long enough to keep in a tournament.
My largest bass was 9 pounds 6 ounces. I have no idea how long it was.
yep
My biggest would be the one I have in the outing in the pics on here which would be 23 inchs around 8lbs
My biggest are:
9 lb 1 oz Largemouth
5 lb 12 oz Smallmouth
I have no idea how long either of them were.
Mines was 18.5inches caught with a watermelon senko wacky rigged.
The day I landed my biggest bass, I didn't have any scale, ruler or camera.
I decided to keep her for my den, and laid her down next to the gunwale.
Her weight unbalanced my boat, and water came rushing over the gunwale like a waterfall!!!
To prevent my boat from swamping, I had no choice but to quickly toss her back in the lake.
I will not hazard a guess as to her weight & length, for fear of being accused of a "fish story"
Roger
I have 2 largemouth at 8-6 and 8-9. Not too bad for New England I guess.
Biggest was 14.7 and she was right at 28.5"
I guess she was looking for a small snack because she bit the BPS Super Finesse Craw t-rigged with a 1/0 Gammy and a 1/16oz slip sinker
My biggest was 23.5 inches and weighed 7 lbs 5 oz. She was caught on a 3/8 oz spinnerbait with a colorado and willowleaf blade combination.
After posting I looked at the poll and there are six people who voted for the choice, "Larger than 28 - 30 inches long." I would love to hear these anglers give us their stories. Those are some freaking huge fish.

I remember your big bass Ryan, she was a real fatty.
My longest measured 28.25", but weighed 12-3

nope, not bad at all. in fact, that's awesome. i knew you'd caught some nice ones, but nothing like that. those are real trophies for sure. even down here, many guys would call those fish of a lifetime. i would say that would be the equivalent of a teen fish in the south. congrats. now go catch another one.

unbalanced your boat?!?! come on, out of all the fish youve caught, surely you can come up with a ballpark within 2 lbs, i'll believe you

I was hoping that my story was absurd enough to liberate me from providing a weight. ;D
I suppose that such a preposterous scenario is remotely possible if I were fishing for mako shark
from a 12-ft aluminum rowboat, but NOT my biggest bass :
Roger
My biggest (longest) was 24 1/2inches and I didn't have a scale but I keep a tape measure in my tacklebox. I guessed her to be around 6-7lbs but without a scale one can only guess. : I did take a quick pic before I let her go.
Mine was a 22" smallmouth with a girth of 14.5".

i've been had :-X
Mine was at Spring Lake, here in Santa Rosa, CA. It measured 24 inches and weighed 8 pounds. My dad and i were fishing all afternoon and didnt catch anything, and right before the park closed, that fish came along and made my day! Caught it wacky rigging a 4.5in storm rattle finesse worm in the holographic purple color. I thought my rod was going to break (it was a cheap old spinning combo with old line used in both salt and fresh water. Looking back, I'm glad nothing went wrong because it wouldnt have taken much for that to be a lost fish...)
Longest smallie 19.5 inches
Longest Largemouth 23.75inches
Smallie was caught on a black/blue chatterbait with a Zoom vibra craw trailer
Largemouth was caught on a double propped buzzbait chart/white don't remember the manufacturer.
