I was watching dog 101 the other night, and they had a special on worlds ugliest dog. Now there was a boxer that they were show casing that had an extended lower jawline. This fish and that dog has the same extended over bite of the lower jaw. STRANGE

Ya'll act like you've never seen a sad bass before. Happens all the time when they get lost and are far away from home, or they're rejected by a pretty female.
Give the little guy some time to think things out, and perhaps find another mate. If you catch him again after he's a little less depressed, you'll find his facial fetures will return to that of a perfectly normal, and healthy LMB.

Why do people have to tear up on someone who doesn't "look" like they do. This little guy could be the friendliest little fish in the lake. Always helping the older fish cross the creek channel, teaches fry how to hide and then how to hunt later when they get a little bigger. Helped that Pickerel get that spinnerbait out of it's mouth,...just the nicest guy,....but all anyone ever sees is his deformed mug.
He just wants to be judged on how hard he fought, not what he looks like,....poor thing.
