As most of you know, I spent the day with Mike Iaconelli during prefishing for the Classic. Of course, I asked questions and shot a lot of pictures. I put everything together into a video for your viewing pleasure....
Here is the video.
Enjoy!

Great interview. I like Mike, his intensity gets me fired up to go fishing. Thanks for documenting your experience with him so well, and sharing it with us.

WOW Thank you Glenn, took a while to download. i don't follow the pro thing too much but when he said
Listen to the fish, DO NOT FISH YOUR HISTORY< FISH THE MOMENT, that really got me thinking
Thanks Glenn and Ike good stuff 8-)
That was great, Glenn! The key to a good interview is having the interviewer ask a good question and then get out of the way. Too many interviewers feel as if they have to keep talking, not realizing it's not about them. Your restraint was masterful, Glenn.
I agree that not fishing your history was Mike's great lesson. As a northeasterner, I found his comments about starting off in New Jersey really interesting as well.
And thanks to reelnmn for putting it into a wmv file that us non-geeks could handle.
Great stuff, thanks for sharing. Mike is certainly a very interesting bass pro. Everyone should read his book "Fishing on the Edge".
Very good interview indeed. Thank you Glenn.
You know, it's a good interview when you don't hear that many product names...... I even heard, "we don't have magic baits, or magic rods...". That's a good honnest reply.
Thanks again Glenn.
The pictures are really good too. 8-)
Very well done, Glenn! Thanks for taking the time to put it all together for us. Great info!
He sounds like a fun guy to fish with... I liked how excited he got and wanted you to feel the bites... while practicing for a T, he still saw the value in sharing the moment. Classy, Mike, very classy!
Glenn,
Great job on the interview. I never used to be an Ike fan, but that guy has true passion for the sport. Over the past 18 months, my attitude towards him has completley changed.
That had to be one great memory for you as well.
Thanks again for the great story and your efforts to bass resource.
Tremendous. Great interview Glenn. Very informative and it provided good insight into Ike and what type of guy he is.
thanks man that was awesome!

Things like this are the reason this is the best bass website on the internet.

Thanks, that was great!
That was hands down the coolest thing i've ever seen on here. Thanks for posting that. I loved that you finished up with the Marsha or Jan Brady question.
WOW!!!
Glenn, I'm sitting here spooling up for practice tomorrow and I just listened to one of the best interveiws I've ever heard. Ike is so informative and detailed with his answers.
I totally agree with what Muddy pointed out. That hit home!
Thanks to Ike and Glenn for sharing that.
That was an amazing interview I wish all interviews were that good!!! great job Glenn!!!
Awesome!! But why all stills and no video? Is there a rule or something? He seems like a good guy
Well done! Great questions!
Yeah, I'd go with Marcia too.
fabulous...thankyou
Glenn, just outstanding. About as close to a professional effort as one can get. Great questions and great answers. Between your interview and Ike's City Limit show, I'm becoming a real fan of the guy.
BTW, I couldn't view it using Firefox but as soon as I opened up the window with internet explorer, it worked perfectly.
Really good interview. Enjoyed it. So Glenn, do you think you can get more Pro's to give these type of candid and informative interviews? Questions can be tailored to things unique to the individual pros.
Wow, that was awesome!!!! Thanks Glenn for the interview and everything you do.
Glenn, Incredible job! This site has certainly come a long way. Who'd have thought we'd have our own original programming on here some day. What's next? A BR television show?
Bravo! I recently completed "Fishing on the Edge" and this was a great addendum! Mike is a class act.
awesome interview.
