The guy states that the table in the gazebo has a trolling motor under it and the table has a fish finder permantly mounted as well.
Supposedly from somewhere in GA
I was going to build the Gazebo on the edge of my dock down by
the lake but I thought I might just as well build the deck with floats
on it and I can then take it out fishing too...It has 15,000# capacity.
The deck is 18ft x 18ft with 12 plastic foam filled dock floats that are
4ft x 4ft by 18 inches high and the Gazebo is 10 ft. Hexagon with a
table and chairs. Inside, under the table is my trolling motor so I can take
it out to my favorite fishing hole.. The trolling motor is remote controlled
wireless so I can be fishing outside and operate the motor.
On the top of the table I have a LOWRANCE Fish-Finder with depth
sounding sonar's and temp gauge. I have 2 electric winches with 40# anchors.
I have also built in a water pump so I can clean the fish right on the spot.
Now I can relax and fish while my wife can sit, watch TV and relax.
looks very comfortable. Good in the rain even. Not much of a hole shot for tournament fishing one would bet. ;D ;D
sure beats this one...
Wow! Bring a cooler with some beers, I don't mind spend my summer vacation up there.
Quotesure beats this one...
I thought I destroyed all the old photos of my first boat.

Nice!!
That's Awesome!!!!
I'd never come back to shore. Just imagine, one could watch football, fish, sleep and have shade all at the same time.
Awesome
You might be a redneck if...........
I like it a lot, especially the railing not being too high.
That is really wild, and creative.
But, a trolling motor under the table, which I assume is nearly centered on the craft/houseboat?
It has to be a real bear to handle, not to mention its short range. Even a slight breeze would exert more than a hundred pounds of force against such a large surface.
But, it is designed for comfort and short runs to a favorite fishing hole. Speed, handling, and range is not of the essence.
I wonder how it is classified regarding taxes.
Is it a building, or a boat? If it were here in Massachusetts, it would probably be taxed as both, and require registration.
Where would the numbers go? They have to be affixed to the bow. Does it have a holding tank? Do local building codes apply?
Is it sturdy enough for whitewater rafting?
The possibilities are endless.
Nonetheless, I like it. All it needs is a crooked stovepipe through the roof to go with the weathervane.
No way, checkout that lighting rod on the top, how many would want to be out on the water in that rig and a storm hits, with just that trolling motor you are a sitting duck for disaster.
Looks cool but I'll pass.
Kool.
Truly, There are no words that can describe how I feel about both of those pics. I'm not sure whether to laugh, cry, or want to make one. Talk about redneck yaht club.....
pic 1.
wheres the crapper?
pic 2.
Do all bassboats look like that in Alabama????? Is the tow vehicle an old camaro with a gun rack??? Is that a JOE DIRT signature series?
Very cool!!
It would be like permanent dock fishing.
Falcon
great way to get the wife & kids out on the water for a all day trip.
i'm going to start looking for the stuff to build me one.
you could even put a divin board for the kids.
i think i might try to put a small outboard on it but still in the middle what do ya think about it?
All you need to become "self sufficient" is annother "platform"(???) with a barbecue pit on it ...Towed by the "Gazebo boat"
The ultimate 'doghouse'
You'd pick a fight with the old lady on purpose just to get tossed out of the house for a while.... :
Redneck or not, that is way too cool. I've saved the pic for future reference... in case I ever manage to live on the water.
Awesome, looks well built. Not that redneck
If that is redneck, then that is a redneck with a lot of stock in Budweiser. It looks like he put a lot of time, thought and money into that one. Probably the same for the Alabama one too. At least the time and thought.
Further proof that we live in the greatest country on Earth...American ingenuity at it's finest!
I wonder if it would work for ice fishing too. Just have to make sure it's in the spot you want before the first freeze. Drill the hole right where the trolling motor goes!
Now that's fishing in style! Nice!
I actually have heard of this. I saw it on a fishing show and also read about it in a mag. Crazy stuff, but cool.

My thoughts exactly

You really had quite the head of hair in your younger days!

Looks more like Canada given all those spruce trees.
That thing looks great...............could comfortably fish like 6 people, and still have room for the BBQ and cooler of beer.
Steve
That's very cool. I was planning on building a floating dock for navigating around the pond and gaining access to all spots, plus having a nice platform for supplies, other people, etc. But this would be awesome.
that weather vane just shouts strike me when they are fishing in the middle of a lake and a storm rolls by .... but thats a nice way to fish
throw a satellite dish on the roof and I might never get off that baby...great pic.

Definitely not from GA. But cool none the less.
Nice! 8-)
That is very cool.
What trolling motor would you use to push something like that?? I didn't know they made one that heavy.
Thats awesome.
haha
