This has probably been posted before but I'm new and I'd like to know what is everyones favorite lure!
Mine is this rapala shallow runner in the shad color. Me and my friend call it ole' faithful because it always catches us at least one fish.
Not meaning to be a butt , the one that the fish are hitting that particular day ...

I have to agree with this....Nothing like finding the right lure the fish are biting that day.
However mine is also jigs with joe's trailer.
Favorite lure class: jerkbaits
Most productive over time: soft plastics
This year: jigs
#1 of all time for me: GYCB Senko

I have quite an affinity to the original Rapala Shad Rap.
Falcon
I in particular are fond of a weightless and weedless trick worm. In which ever color they bite: Kudzu, Green pumpkin green, green pumpkin blue.

1. Yamamoto Fat Ika.
2. Shallow Crankbaits
4"berkly power worm always seems to produce for me this year
5 Inch Senko Watermelon with red flake
Yamamoto senko, hands down. Nothing has been more consistant for me.
Chartreuse spinner bait.
The one that is catching fish right now .
My favorites to fish? Either Spook types or spinnerbaits.
I like Spro Bronze eye frog! caught me a good number of big fish on that! Next would be a 3/8 oz chartreuse spinner bait with a willow blade and Colorado, got the biggest bass of my life on that, a 15.23 pound hawg!
I like top water. Makes for fun fishing catching them on top.
For me Mann's quarterback in Pearl
Im all about the Chug Bug I also like my cranks Rapala JSR-5 and JSR-7 in all colors a 1/8 oz jig head with a 4" Kalins curlytail grub white or black. I'll stop now I could just go on and on.
Rapala X-Rap (Silver), mainly for clear water, I also like the Strike King Pure Poison Chatterbait (Black/Blue), stained or clear water.
Rapala X-Rap in Gold or Silver.
Also the Skitter Pop in Frog.
Just got a black Jitterbug so we'll test that for night.
6" power slug... or 5" in senko watermelon red or green pumpinkin.

Is that the shad rap shallow runner?
My favorite lure is probably the horny toad, I can't get enough of fishing the top of the slop.
My favorite is the Megabass Cyclone. A beautiful crankbait that produces numbers and quality. It might be the prettiest crank on the market.

Yes it is and it catches fish like you wouldnt believe. Like if i could only have one crankbait to fish with, i'd chose that evertime.
Rapala DT FAT 03
Right now it's between an original floating rapala in orange and gold ,or a t-rigged grape / fire tail culprit worm .
Working Girl Wake Bait, proto type 16 is my favorite at the moment. Look at these hooks, results of this mornings mayhem, lol.
Most productive would be a senko
Favorite to fish shallow cranks or spinnerbait
I know I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but...
Mine is the GYCB Flappin Hog on a T-rig. I'm beginning to think that this bait has some kind of magical power. (or maybe its just me )
LBH - Are you using eagle claw hooks or what? We shouldn't be seeing that unless we are seeing multiple DD's on the "Outing;s" page. Time to upgrade to some owners!!!!
Favorite bait to throw is the 3:16 Wake Jr. Just something about it.

Gammy's,....never again. Owner 4x on everything I make from now on. Needless to say, I had lost a handful of fish as the day went on and I would bet none were over 6lbs!
LAME HOOKS!!
Sorry to hear that LBH.... gotta learn the hard way, but at least you weren't dumping potential PB's!!! I'm not a big fan of the gammy's these days either. Had a toad bend a 6/0 gammy superline. It was my fault (straight braid with the drag buttoned down in a lake with GIANTS) but non the less.
It's only fair if they get to win a few times anyway, right? ;D
Man, that really surprises me. I have never had an issue with Gamakatsu hooks.
Have you tried VMC Hooks? Never had any issues with them, either.
