Looking for ideas on what you use during the course of your fishing season..... ( yes, I know some of you fish year around).

War eagle spinnerbaits I've had good luck with white chartuse an favorite is blue herring single an double blades 3/8 an a 1/2 is my choice

Brands: Strike King or Booyah
Colors: Chart/white or Bluegillish looking
Blades: I like a Colorado willow tandem most of the time, gold #4 willow, silver #1.5 colorado, or double willow with #4 and 3.5 size gold blades....I do not like big blades at all. Even on bigger baits, I down size the size of my blades. Sometimes I like painted blades.
Weight: 3/16 oz for pounding the bank, 3/8 oz for over the top of grass, or 1/2 oz. down the outside of grass line in deeper water.

Been really digging the spinnerbait lately.
Booyah or SK KVD
white/chart, shad color, something with red on the skirt
double willows or willow/small colorado
3/8 oz
I also like to use a single grub trailer in white or light color.
The KVD's are nice but they come with their own "trailer" which i trim down since it interferes with the grub.

i prefer the river2sea bling spinnerbait in 1/2 oz. for colors i use abalone shad,lemonade twist,i know it or cold blooded in double willow or willow/colorado

- willow/colorado/indiana-single, larger colorado in cold water, tandem colorado/indiana when it warms up a little bit. Silver on sunny days, silver and gold on cloudy days
- weight-1/4oz if I want really slow retrieve, 3/8 a majority of the time, 1/2oz if I want to get down deeper.

War Eagle in white, white/chartreuse, white/copper, all copper, blue herring, firecracker, cotton candy, or blue/black.
I use 1/2oz and have mainly double willow. A few are single Colorado blade.
I've tried all the ones mentioned except the one by Seibert Outdoors, and I always go back to War Eagle. Great quality, and they just flat out catch fish.

I second these. I use 1/2 oz to 3/8 oz. I've used black to gold to white. You can get these at bass pro shops or any other name store. These spinner baits run true and they are durable for the price.

Like Jig Man, I make and fish my own spinnerbaits. I fish single bladed baits 90% of the time and use 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 oz baits for all of my spinnerbait fishing. I like rabbit strip trailers and have caught my PB on a spinnerbait I made with a rabbit strip (Zonker Strip).
I really like the Strikeback by Megastrike. It's one of the very few spinnerbaits I do buy. Here's a Strikeback with a Zonker Strip I added for a member here:

Experiment is key with spinner baits. I technically have 8 in my box. 4 for shallow and 4 for 8+ft.

As usual, my obsesive-compulsive disorder made me purchase a few baits ( I´ve got more than 200 units ) on the other hand I fish with only a few, uh ...... to make the count exact ---> 5 baits see all the action, now to make it worst, they are the same spinnerbaits I´ve fished since the early 90´s,

3/8 oz, gold tandem ( diamond pattern ) blades, white & chartreuse skirt

Originally the skirts were living rubber, now they are silicone ( a lot more durable than natural rubber ).

I like a single colorado, or a #2 colorado in front of a #4 willow or #5 indiana, in everything from 1/8- 3/4. but I throw a 3/16 and 3/8 most of the time.
It really depends on what I'm doing, I find I'm usually fishing spinnerbaits really fast or really slow.

I fish mostly clear water, i tend to throw a 3/8oz spinnerbait with a clear skirt a double nickel willows. Mimmicks a school of minnows very well. Will only use other blades during nightime or windy days for added vibrations.

My best all around would be a tandem Willow/Colorado Terminator in 3/8th. Color is trail and error - all white or firetiger in murky water, more baitfish in clear.

Moving more water with less effort makes a great spinnerbait.
Stanley's patented Vibra-Shaft transfers all the vibration to the tip of the wire where the blades are.
Stanley's Wedge blades are tapered from the split ring hole to the bottom giving more flash & vibration.

Brand is any and all.
Color is white, chart/white, bluegill, and black.
I prefer double blades, but I don't like gold or nickel. I will buy blades that match the color of the skirt or paint my own.
Willow leaf blades in weeds, and grass. Colorado blades everywhere else.
Weight is anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 depending on the depth of where I am fishing.

Brand: no preference, my two favorite individual spinnerbaits are booyah and a strike king
Color: Chartreuse/white, and a brown or bluegill color
Blade #: most I use are double blades, but I'm not ruling out singles
Blades: I use a double willow in a brown or bluegill pattern in stained water. And I use a double colorado in chartreuse/white in murky water. I dont really fish spinnerbaits in clear water. I prefer gold blades over any other color.

I've had luck with a Dicks Sporting Goods 1/4 oz white/chart with Willow and Colorado in silver made by Strike King.
3/8 Craw colored with double craw colored blades willow/Colorado
3/8 white with gold and silver blades willow/Colorado
Then i received one from my tackle subscription a Fishbelly 3/8oz hot pink double swivel double willow gold/silver blade... OY!

I recently cleared out my boat for the winter. Turns out I carry more spinnerbaits than I thought I did. Most don't get used very often.
I found one box of 20 or so War Eagle spinnerbaits, the small heavy ones (1/4 oz size, 1/2 oz weight) various colors, mostly clearer water colors.
I found one box of Terminators - mostly 1/2 oz with a few 3/8 oz. - various colors
I got one box of War Eagle spinnerbaits - regular 1/2 oz size with a few 3/4 oz (half of them were in the "spot remover " color, both gold blades and nickel blades. I would have used these more this year, but I forgot I had them.
I got a box of 10 Terminator 1/2 oz single colorado blades - black with a larger gold blade - I use these quite a bit. These are sold as "night baits" but I think that they are a good all around color in clearer water around heavier cover.
I found a box of 16 old strike king quad blades - various colors. I forgot I had these.
I also found my "tournament kit" that I carried when I was fishing bfl as a co-angler. These were smaller Flambeau boxes that each held 6 spinner baits. 1 box had 6 J&J spinner baits (a regional Missouri brand, long since out of business, although Chompers now sells a very close copy) These were in the "Truman Lake" color. Chartruese/white with gold/chartruese willow and a gold/white colorado blade. Box 2 had my muddy water favorites - 1/2 oz single colorado, chartreuse/purple with a copper colorado blade. ( I use this style/color quite a bit when I'm in heavily stained or muddily water) Box 3 had 4 old McCollum "Bush Hogs" 1/2 oz with 2 large tandem colorado blades - used for "bulging"
I got these because one time during a tournament at Table Rock, there was kind of a surface bite. After the fact I found out that the guys throwing buzz baits (including me) caught primarily short fish, while most of the guys who placed & got money were fishing a similar pattern, but were " bulging " their baits rather than fishing a buzz bait. So like a French general, always ready to fight the last war, I got some.
Thats a lot of spinnerbaits, close to a hundred counting all of them. I carry them because I have the room, but I don't use them very often…..

Lunker Lure Rattleback,Picasso and strikeking. Most i have customized in one way or another. I have alot of Chopper blades made of copper i use with great success,and alot of the vibration blades from lunkerlure that get put on Picassos alot.

I make most of the ones I use. Hidden head 1/2 oz for all of my spinnerbaits. Double or single Colorado if it's cold or in murky water. Tandem and double willow in stained to clear water. My color choices are simple. chartruse in murky water, white/chartruse in stained, white in lightly stained, and clear/white in clear water. Gold blades in murky or real cloudy day. Silver blades on all other conditions.
