Do any of you use these on chatterbaits? If so what brands do you prefer? So far I've used flukes and pit bosses with good results but want to change it up some
Let me ad I have searched thru some old chatterbait trailer posts...but I was just curious about any changes you guys have been having success with
I use rage swimmers and have decent success with bass. The pickerel love them, so I tend to lose a few tails.
I do use a paddletail style trailers on vibrating jigs.
A Swim Senko works well.
Seem to get bites with either a Zako and a Rage Bug too.
Be trying a new 'Goby' trailer this season as well.

I was looking at the little dippers on tackle warehouse and wondering if there big enough?I know they say 3.5 inch but that varies so much from company to company..would primarily throw them on siebert fogys and chatterbox customs which are both a little smaller baits in my opinion
BTW that goby is a cool looking little bait
The Z-Man DieZel Minnowz has become one of my favorite chatterbait trailers. The fact that they last forever is an added bonus. I usually use the 4" version.
I use the keitech swimbaits on my chatterbaits most of the time and love them. I catch plenty of Sm and Lm on them and also my biggest Musky! Walleye as well.
Ragetail Swimmer. You can see it in the thumbnail of this video:
Razor shadz
My most successful trailer is the Cabelas Swim Minnow,
5” on Chatterbaits and Boss swimjig heads.
My top 5 bladed jig trailers (in no order).

I bet that goby paired with this would work nice while dragging for smallies.

Those look like Paul Krew's? I've always wanted to order some but I've got enough plastics to justify getting a 30pk of something at the moment lol.

I have found Grass Pigs to be effective and highly durable. On a Chatterbait, I don’t think you need something really soft or full of flavor... you just need action and durability. I save the Keitechs for when swimming alone as a swimbait.

The grass pigs were my go to for a long time. They are affordable, durable, offered in enough colors and sizes. I still have a LARGE supply. However, since I started using the Zman Razor Shadz, I have not looked back. I can use a Razor Shadz for a month fishing a lot and not need a new bait. I used to try keep a grass pig going while torn up. I don’t have to do that anymore. They have great action on a chatter bait as well. Grass pigs are still a great trailer. I have also used twin tail grubs with good success, but started to have certain baits seem to rise more if rigged horizontally, Rigged vertically, they work better.
Gambler EZ Vibes has been getting a workout lately. They skip awesome to. She let a 6+ jump off today...we’re not speaking
At least you had a 6+ on today...we've got 12+ inches of ice here..only thing I've seen jump off today was our cat off the top of the couch when I scared him

I like you bought a bunch of Grass Pigs... been trying to use them up but they are durable enough it’s taken me 2+ seasons to go through them. I also do use the Razor Shadz, but more often in Spring/Fall during the extreme cold water season. Razor Shadz are very good but don’t have as much action so I use them when everything (including the fish) are a tad slower...
I like the 3.8 and 4.8 Fat Impact type swimbait trailers. Mainly use the ones from Lake Champlain lures for trailers since they're more durable and cheaper than Keitechs.

Yeah, Little Dips will work just fine. Try rigging them upside-down--the action of the paddle tail won't work against the action of the blade as much that way.
Thanks for the responses

*Trailer rigged upside down = keeps the chatterbait down .

I use a paddle tail trailer on my chatterbaits about 95% of the time. I switched to the Z-Man Diezel because they last so much longer than anything else.
