I found many times that dicks will be running some good items on clearance but usually their store specific. I know because I live pretty close to 3 different stores.

Probably one of the most popular new plastics to come out in the last few years. I have at least a dozen bags in the boat now and probably 50 more in the garage from when they were on sale for 1.99 at BPS last spring.

Dicks does have great clearance sales. I got some Terminator spinnerbaits for $1.99 in several colors at the end of summer.
I'm close to three of them as well and will make a weekly sweep through them for any great deals. I've gotten the havoc pit boss and subwoofer for 97 cents recently, too!

Just a little note..............at Dick's , anything with a price ending in a 7 ( example- $3.97 ).....is a closeout item that won't be stocked again. If you like 'em grab em.

Just went and got a bad full of goodies consisting of the LT crank baits (2.98). , Excalibur Cranks(3.47) havoc baits (1.47) costing a total of $25. Almost pulled the trigger on a veritas on sale for $67. Oddly enough not all the veritas were on sale just specially marked ones.

I managed to grab eight in various sizes/colors for $4 apiece plus an additional 25% off. They only had the various craw patterns on sale there, none of the pumpkin seed or minnow patterns.
They have an additional 25% off everything clearance priced, so will be heading back when the paycheck comes out...

They're only for the crawfish. I just cleaned out one of the Dick's by me too. I got 6 in various colors and depths for under $20! I don't usually fish with crankbaits, but for the price I figured I'd mix them into my arsenal a bit more often.
....now to get myself a lure retriever.
