Hey Yall,
I've had a lot of success with LC Sammys. Initially I was skeptical about the price until I got one for 3$ at a fishing flea market and I have about 10 Sammys now.
I want to start using the LC Squarebills and Pointers, but since LC has what seems like 1000 different colors I want to see what colors others are using.
Appreciate the help.
Oh man the LC Sammys are money...
personally I fish a lot of clear water so I like ghost minnow, ghost Pearl ayu and chart. shad slender pointers
I like ghost minnow and American shad.
When fishing the Pointers (Jerkbaits) water clarity plays a primary role in color selection.
And you're right - there are too many colors and they all seem to work at one time or another.
But here's a few good ones:
Clear water ~ American Shad, Misty Shad, MS MJ Herring - Aurora Wakasagi
Off Colored water ~ NC Shell White, Nishiki, Aurora Green Perch

Just pick YOUR favorite color!
Two of my favorites are Aurora Black and Table Rock.

Good list , you can add aurora gold too.
I fish for mainly smallmouth. I have at least a Ghost Minnow and a Nishiki in each of the LC series of jerkbaits in my box.
Gold...plus a gill pattern can't remember the exact nomenclature
American Shad is by far my favorite. From what I've found mostly on smallies they hit the action more then the color. Get the pop at the right speed and color really wont matter much.
Choose the color YOU like and fish it with faith,
I like American Shad, Aurora Gold and Baby Bass.
Like many others have said, there's lots of colors and basically all of them are realistic. I think companies do this to us so that we feel we need to buy 12 lures, rather than 2 or 3.
Buy the colors that match the water color and natural forage that you're fishing.
Ghost Minnow and Chartreuse Shad
American Shad.
Aurora craw (ewd) kills em in spring

I have often fished the color I liked and fished it hard too.
But when you're in the boat with an angler who has the right color & the right pop - you get SCHOOLED !

Very true.
All colors will catch fish, its finding the color on certain days will beat them up. For me day in day out its typically american shad.
flat finish and shiny finish - one of each in your choice of color -
Aurora Green Perch, Ghost Baby Bluegill, Aurora Black, American Shad, Ghost Minnow

Ok, then to the OP, purchase every single color and size, who knows maybe you´´ll need them.

Gunfish -- baby blue gill; chartreuse shad
Flashminnow, Slender Pointer, Pointers -- ghost minnow; yellow perch; chartreuse shad; american shad, nishiki
Staysee -- yellow perch; american shad

Skeet's Magic is a killer for me. It used to be American shad but the last few years I can't buy a strike with it.
In clear water Ghost Shad is great - but I have a Gary Dobyns Staysee 90 in his ghost chartreuse shad that is even better.
Ghost minnow and Chartreuse shad
Snatcher
T-rex
MS American shad
Aurora Gold
Bone Pro Blue
Depending on water clarity and cloud cover I use em in that order until i find the "one" for that day...
