They'e havin' a sale on ragetails. 1.00 a pack
:o don't miss it!!
Say What!!??!! Man I'm gonna check it out.
Where do you live?
I'm going to start making some calls.
Can you buy me some Rage Shads and ship them to me?
Dang man, got my Wal-Mart beat! They are $2.99 here! Well, they were, i bought em all, LOL!!!! ;D
Wally World in Alliance, Ohio
Looks like I'm feeding the bait monkey on the way home from work today.
Thanks for the heads-up!!
They are on clearance here for $5 a pack lol... :
Buy them all and flip em on your fellow BassResourcers...
Seriously...buy them all
If they were $1 a pack... I would buy every pack they had in the store. If you don't use them you could definitely resell them.
Sales vary by store location. If they are red-tagging them for $1/pack, then they simply haven't sold in that store.
Was there yesterday. They basically took out their fishing stuff. I hate our new Super Walmarts...everything is getting swapped over.Super walmarts seem to have less stuff than the smaller Walmart chain stores do. > There wasn't any sales there either.
No rage tails at my wal mart. I was just there two nights ago.
But sales and selection varies widely store to store.
my store has never sold rage tails, btu they do have charlies worms, a few select styles for $.96 a pack, white trick worms, grape 10" and watermelon flukes...I picked up 5 packs of the tricks, and 5 of the 10" I'll get some of the flukes later, these have all been top producers for me!
No luck here, still $5.99 a pack.
1 pack of toads- $5.00- marked down from $5.95. I didn't buy it.
wow thats cheap.at my walmart they are 5.99
Quote1 pack of toads- $5.00- marked down from $5.95. I didn't buy it.
Same here.
They're still full price at the one near my house. Walmart's clearance prices are determined on a store-by-store depending on sell-though. More and more retailers are doing this. Dicks is another one that throws people off. They'll do different sales in different markets. The lures that are on sale or clearance at the one near me are often full price at other locations.
Regular price at the one closest to me...I guess maybe it's my own fault for buying so many of them before...I buy them; they move in the store; they move so they won't mark them down >
I picked up some Rapalas at .50c each the other day at my walmart here. They seem to put some really nice stuff up for super cheap at my store. So my box has filled out rather nicely as I've gone along.
Best,
Paul
bummer, my wally world doesnt even have rage tails
our wal marts never have anything good on sale. and never ever on clearence.
the dont have ragetails anyway. they have started carrying netbaits pacas and the strike king ochos. but then... they stopped selling gambler paddletails.
im lucky though cuz we had both a boaters world and a sportsmans warehouse go out of business. so i cleaned up!! i got probably 600 bucks of stuff for about 250 and i can now open my own store if i wanted to. lol.
I've got feelers out checking them out for me. I told them if they could find them to buy em out and I'd pay double what they paid! Last time I checked wal mart here had em for the same price as our academy - 5.99 a bag - booooo! >
Be happy for sportsman's warehouse. I'd never even heard of one until today - probably because the nearest one's are in kentucky and carolina!
just went to my walmart here in town in mississippi and sho nuff they had alot of things on sale for a dollar and some of the line was marked down! got a spool of trilene xl smooth casting 17 lb for $5!!
My local Walmart has the better part of one isle dedicated to fishing items but the bait selection has been in horrible shape all summer. For the most part it always looks like a tornado just went through there and very little stock. The last time someone mentioned a big sale at Walmart I went over there that night....and when I walked into the isle I couldn't help but laugh. I don't think there was a single sale price in the whole isle, let alone anything marked clearance.
They're apparently renovating most of the WMs in the area, so the clearance sections are huge and full of absolutely anything you can imagine. The clearance fishing gear has been hit-or-miss, but as the others have already pointed out, different stores stock different gear and the stuff that moves rarely goes on sale.
So far I've picked up a pair of Shimano Sonora 2500FBs and a Mitchell 308Xe for $15 each, a couple Abu Garcia Conolon Premiers for $27 each, and two spools of 20# Powerpro for $4 each from my neighborhood WM.
I hit one on the other side of town late last night and came away with 4 packs of Bass Magic swimbaits, 5 Stanley 'Wedge Plus' spinnerbaits in Golden Bream, 2 Hawg Caller triple blade spinnerbaits, 2 Norman 'Fat Boys' in Redear, a pack of Kinami Flash in Baby Bass, and a War Eagle spinnerbait for about $25. They had tons of stuff on clearance, but that's all that interested me.
