Looking to stock up on flurocarbon ,,, anything under $15 a spool !! ANY SUGGESTIONS!!
Seaguar red label is probably one of the better cheap end fluoros. Dont skimp on your line though. It'll cost you fish and more than likely respooling more often then you'll like. You want cheap? Then prepare for "cheap" results. My .02
Seaguar red label
Spend $19 a spool and get Invizx. You really, really don't want to save money on Fluorocarbon.
Actually yozuri hybrid or Pline fluroclear. These are two lines that are flurocoated and are very manageable even on spinning gear, while costing less.
I'll try the red label,Thanks!
I wouldn't set a price for line. Your asking for trouble. Back it with cheap mono and you make that 200 yard spool last 3 reels or re spools.
I've tested everything from Berkley Vanish to now testing Tatsu from main lines to leaders. Don't skimp.
Yeah I know not to get cheap crap I just want to find something affordable ,
berkley trilene XL the red box not the blue which im sure it work good too. i use 14 pd on my pro max and it cast nice and its tuff as hell.
Red label it works
In the price range you specified, Sunline Super Fluorocarbon would be my pick.
sunline FC sniper is on sale at gander mountain for 14.99. it's normally 25ish. you won't find a better fluoro south of 20$ for the price sniper is now,

Seaguar red label! Tested it all summer and I am a big fan. Will be using it all next year for sure. Tried others in the same price range and they sucked. This line rocks for a sub $15 line!
Twice I got it on clearance at dicks sporting goods for less than $10 a spool. Otherwise the standard price of about $12.99 is very good.

Fixed your post!
to the OP:
for real the BPS XPS flouro is great stuff for the money...... but you are better off using high end stuff and using backing (which you should use backing anyway)

via the website, it's free shipping for their anniversary. just like going to the store w/o paying for gas.
It aint under $15 but Seaguar Tatsu IMO the best Fluoro.. is on sale at tacklevvarehouse .. I paid double that a spool!
BTW I only use it as leader

Trilene XL and XT (the blue box) aren't fluorocarbon lines.
iabass, thanks for the tip on Suline FC Sniper. Going to have to take a look. I like the few Sunline products I've tried so far.
Really I could swore the trilene XL smooth cast was flouero. Is it mono then?
Trilene XL is mono
Pline Flouroclear fan here. $10 a spool and the green mist color works so well for clear to lighly stained water.
Red Label has fans, it is inexpensive, but my experience is/was mixed.
If you can find XPS Fluoro on sale at BPS, it is a very good FC.
But I'll second Hooligan with P-Line Floroclear in mist green. It is only coated, while Yo-Zuri Hybrid is bonded copoly+FC. I prefer P-Line over YZ.
I've been using XPS FC this year, have had good and bad experiences, but I'm thinking the bad is that I'm treating it like it is P-Line or Yo-Zuri. By that I mean pure FC (IMO) has to be treated differently than copoly or fluoro coated/bonded lines.
And keep in mind, I use it as leader only, braid is my mainline. So if I haul in a heavy branch, I need to consider replacing the leader. Line nicks, replace the leader....
As well, since this is your first posting on the site, consider stopping by the Introductions thread and tell us a little about yourself!
I rarely use Floro as mainline, but the one I do have is filled with 15lb AbrazX - use it for plastics and jigs around cover that may cause braid to get frayed. I mainly use braid and tie on a leader (Red Label) and the rest have P Line Floro clear or Yo Zuri.
Another one for Red Label but I would just bite the bullet and buy Invizx instead. Love it!
If you go with Red Label, use it as a leader, it's too stiff for mainline.
Relatively inexpensive fluoro? In this order:
1. Seaguar Invisx
2. Trilene 100% (only in 10#+and on casting)
3. BPS XPS 100%

The last three spools I have gotten have been super soft and subtle. Two 8lb and a 15lb. I use the 8lb on spinning reels (2500's) and it is awesome. Handles just like good mono and casts a mile. No lag feeling when casting like you get with stiff lines, it is very silky!
With that being said, the first spool I bought was about the total opposite. It was as stiff as $2 mono and broke pretty easily. The only reason I tried it again was because I found it on clearance at Dicks so I gave it another shot.
Oxymoron: cheap FC line.
Cheap FC should be its own category of line. It's a disgrace to what quality FC actually is. You're better off getting mono. With that said, the hierarchy of FC lines is invizx < fc sniper < tatsu

To be fair, Trilene XL and XT are well known mono lines. But they have just released Trilene XL fluorocarbon
That Sunline deal makes this a no brainier (IMHO).
I really like Pline, but I've fished bass pro XPS a good bit and have absolutely no complaints about it, just not as "slick feeling" on my thumb when I'm feathering a bait into a soft landing or skipping docks.
Seaguar Red label has been great for me. BUT, I only use it as leader material. I use braid as mainline on all my rods. The only time I have had any issues with it are when I have been too lazy to retie after pitching/skipping/flipping a lot of docks, and broke off due to chewed and nicked up line from rubbing across all kinds of nasty metal dock posts, cross members, cables etc...., and even then, I can only recall losing one or two fish this year due to that, most of the break offs have been trying to free baits that were stuck in some hideous place.
Agree that sunline sniper FC is the way to go with that deal. Honestly, without the deal you should go that route. As i mentioned, you will end up paying the price as your line damages from poor handling, poor knot strength, poor abrasion resistance, and many others. Furthermore, you can get 3 spoolings out of a 200 yard spool and that cuts the price into a third. Most who have gone the cheap route end up paying more in the end, or end up hating fluorocarbon all-together. I do not blame them, the cheap stuff is just that, cheap.
Also, when you use FC as a leader, it is far less demanding on the line overall. FC as a mainline will really show off the strengths and weaknesses compared to a few foot section of line used as a leader. Still, as a leader, one would need the abrasion resistance and knot strength among other factors, but I feel you can get away with cheaper line as a leader compared to using a mainline. Personally, I use the good stuff for both.
Seaguar Red Label or PLine are my two go-to's!
I have had really good luck with P Line, doused in L&L it just flows smoothly off the reel.
