Any medium/moderate rod over 7', made of graphite, with a full rear grip will do for me. I use a SC Avid AVC70MM.

Should be getting a 7-11 cranker from Pinnacle shortly, though I'm not sure that will throw warts. I'll put them on the list to try, though.

I love the wiggle wart..A few I really like are the falcon shoal cranker and Denali jw843cb. Another one I've been using the last several weeks is a kisselkrafts built on a MHX 843 blend blank.The action is just about perfect for the wart and plenty sensitive,really impressed with the build quality.
I Throw them all with a curado E5 and 8lb sniper or invizx

The boys over in MO. and AR that live on the White River chain of lakes know how to use the Wiggle Wart. If you can get them to share any information about their setups and how to work the bait, they are the ones to talk with.

Look for a "crankbait" specific rod, too.
And let me add this: The Bass Pro Shops Cranking Stick is an excellent selection for crankbaits and it's price is excellent.

If you check you tube there is a video of Dave Barker fishing the Wart here on Table Rock, He is a master at it. Pay attention to how he pulls the bait along with the rod tip.
Also the the Rock Crawler should be out in a few weeks. It will be be a deeper alternative to the wart.

90% of my cranking is with a WiggleWart and I throw it on a custom St. Croix SCV 7' MF rod. The rod is really light and crisp and the medium power is still light enough to keep the hooks from ripping out so long as your using fluoro or mono line.

I've thrown wiggle warts since I started throwing crankbaits. On the White River chain of lakes, they're something special. I only use three colors - Natural Brown Crayfish and Natural Green Crayfish for clearish water and Natural Red Crayfish for stained. I always want the water to have a little color in it when throwing these baits and/or wind.Throw them anywhere you can get them to crash into something, but I love them on banks sloping at a little less than 45 degrees preferably with some sort of rock transition. The mag wart will get a little deeper, and they work year round.
I use graphite for everything. I'm not a big fan of glass or composite. I throw them on a 7' MH TFO signature series rod. It's rated as fast, but pick one up and shake it in your hand and you'll see how much tip it has. Its line rating goes all the way down to 8 lb if that tells you anything. I usually throw WW's on 10 lb fluoro though.

The only reason I use a MH is because I throw a lot of DT 10's and other larger crankbaits than WW's as well. If I were to have a rod specifically for WW's it would have to be a 7' M but a MH works just fine.

I fish my warts on a 7' MH/M St. Croix Pro Glass cranking rod with a E5 Curado and 8-10 pound copolymer. If you're not fishing a wart on Table Rock when they're on a wart bite, you're just donating.

I have that same rod in a 6'6", it is one of the times I prefer glass to graphite, banging into those rocks all day is just a better experience with a glass rod IMO.

I was unfortunate enough to be paired as a non boater with a good wart fisherman on Table Rock during a wart bite once. I pretty much could have just sat down and waited to net his next fish for him.

The Bull's got a lot less timber than the Rock or Beaver, but I feel like it's a better bet for a real big one. There's a lot less boat traffic on the Bull too, which I always liked. I can understand why your wife makes you go to the Rock though. It's the prettiest lake between the three.
I've yet to throw the scatter rap, but I really like the DT series. That bait does look like a great option for fall fishing the WRC though.

I can be at K dock on bull in about 20 minutes or so but I never fish it. Probably should, had some great trips there years ago with my Dad .Guess I'm just comfortable on Table Rock..I do fish Taneycomo some if the boat traffic gets too much during vacation season...

I hear if you know when to go you can slay some big trout on jerkbaits in Taneycomo at certain times of the year.

Thats true, There also a decent bass population. If you can catch it when they are running power through Table Rock and the water gets in the bushes there's a decent flipping bite , and around the docks. Usually best from Bull creek on down toward power site.
