Beautuful. Just beautiful.
I have also caught two of my largest bass on small 1 inch white grubs fished on an ultra-light rig.
But you outdid everyone.
Thanks for sharing.
That is a monster fish.
Impressive catch ! Awesome... 8-)
Funny, but I thought it would be much bigger than 12lbs... I'm gonna trust the official weight on this one.
The picture is good too.
This year is off and running with Hawgs
Yikes! That is one big PIG!!
Nice catch!
WOW !!!!!
Thats an awsome Fish..
very nice.
Jeff
Congratulations on a superb catch!! That's one NICE bass ya caught! "Here, fishy, fishy, fishy!!")
That is definitely a pig, especially on 4 lb line.
The first thing I thought after reading the description is that she must have been totally humiliated. Caught on a little 1/8 oz bait, 4 lb line, and netted in 7 seconds. Short of becoming table fare, I can't think of a less desirable ordeal for a big bass :
Also, Natural, I'm assuming that's not you in the article since you said "I'd never be so lucky"....am I wrong?
That is the biggest looking 12lber that I have ever seen. Goes to show what kind of effect the arm stretch can have on pictures.

Yeah I would have guessed at least 15 with that huge belly. Anyway awesome fish!!!
Very nicely taken photo there. You can truly see the massive beauty of that girl!
I,on the other hand, would not be so lucky as to have a great photo like that.I'm either alone,or the camera person is a retard. :-[
Great catch! I always enjoy seeing piggies.Reminds me of what I love about our sport.
WOW! 4# test!
Looks like the rest of the fish out grew it's tail?
Regardles it's a true toad!
Man, what a fish!! Tokyo Tony, Thanks never thought of looking at it from that way ;D...
As Ever,
skillet
It does look bigger than 12. Beautiful fish.
Crazy balls you guys must have even trying to net a fish like that so quickly with such light line. You would think as soon as that big bass saw the net it would go nuts. Especially that early in the fight when the fish still has a lot of energy left...
"Netted 7 seconds later". No doubt a great fish but if I ever hooked a monster like that I'd want to have an epic fight with it.
He was using 4lb because the water was crystal clear at that lake last November and December. Fish we keying in on shad and the were coming up from 20ft to hit small shad type baits. They were fighting hard there that time of year. Hey must have had a great partner to get it in the net that quick!
WOW!
had he not been using the 4 pound line the fish probably would of never bit.
Nice!!
Wow....that fish is shaped like one of Fish Chris'. It does look like a monster. It wouldn't even be a sharelunker in TX.
what a horse of a fish, 12lbs? the state record is 14lb 10oz and I"m thinking you got hosed! nice catch
awesome
thats not a bass.. its a groupper !!
IDK, 12# look like somebody got hosed.
