Answer: cut bag to desired size. seal one end. When you put the food in, don't let it touch the area to be sealed. If it touches make sure you dry it well. Then triple seal that end after the food is in.

how long does the food stay fresh?

Answer: have an ancient Food Saver machine. I also have a chest freezer I keep at minus 10-15 degrees F. (measured with a thermometer). About 12 years ago, I lost a vac-packed strip steak in the bottom of the freezer. When I found the steak, I thawed and sautéed it. Perfectly fresh. Of course, YMMV depending on type of freezer and temperature at which you keep it.

Answer: Only if they are food saver bags not boxed bags you buy at the grocery store

How much hamburger meat can you seal at one. time ?

Answer: I have done 10 pounds at once. I portioned them into one-pound balls, placed in vacuum bag, vacuum sealed them and then flattened them before freezing. I had to wait a minute or so between each bag but got all 10 done. Have not done more than that so far,

How does it handle a roll of bags?

Answer: Cut bags to length any way you want. Seal one end, fill bag, seal other end. seal and vacuum systems work very well.

Whats the best bags and rolls to use with this vacuum sealer?

Answer: Any brand of bags will work as long as they aren’t too wide. I use rolls as it is easier to adjust the size based on how much you ate vacuum packing.

Does this sealer allow you to create your own bags?

Answer: I had purchased the large roll and with that I made the bags any size I wanted. I also sealed a zip lock bag and it worked.

Answer: Hi, you can use it while charging, press and hold the ON/OFF power button for 2 seconds to turn on, and then select the mode you want to seal. This sealer uses a USB charging cable, and you can move it when fully charged and take it out for outdoor use , You can also use it while charging, it’s really great

Answer: It comes with 15 sealed bags and precut ,the roll you need to cut yourself. I find it's less wasteful since you can cut down to the size you need.

Answer: Dude, that sealer is CORDLESS design, you dont need to connect with the power source when using it. can't wait take it to my friends party on this coming weekend so i can show off this cool machine and grab some food back home .

Received this as a gift at the end of December. Looked amazing, kept it in the box and placed it flat in my pantry for storage. Opened it up one month later to use for the first time and it now has 5 cracks running across it. None of the cracks have completely spanned the board and once they do I do not know if you can still use it. I can only wipe it down with a damp cloth and food crumbs still get into the cracks. I would not suggest this one, there must be other boards that this would not happen.

I’ve been using ziplock baggies and squeezing like crazy to get the air out of the meat that I freeze- I never knew I needed something like this so badly. It comes with perfectly sized bags as well as a long roll of storage bag to cut and seal to size. Only takes about 15-30 seconds (depending on size of bag) to get all the air out and seal it up. Crompton : Small and effective but lacking clear directions

It took me a while to figure out how to open my sealer because the directions do not indicate how to open it except how to open it after sealing something. (It’s different to open before hand because pressing the air release button, which opens it after sealing the bag does not open it before sealing.) The directions are a bit confusing and it would help if the parts that came with the sealer were labeled, but once I got it to work, it worked without any problem.
I just finished using it so I will have to update this review later in regards to how well it keeps food fresh. (As a side note, I was reading other ways to use a sealer and I’m excited to try to for things other than just keeping food fresh longer.)

This board is wonderful quality and makes for an impressive charcuterie display. It is a nice weight and sealed finish and it cleaned off really easily even after having meat grease and fruit juice sitting on it for a couple of hours.
