Answer: I vacuumed grd meat yesterday and the little bit of liquid came out and it didn't seal well. I had to do another seal on top of it. They tell you that you should freeze anything with liquid before sealing. But I didn't expect to have to do that with grd meat, I didn't have to with my old sealer.

A nice little machine that can vacuum dry or moisture food quickly and seal the bag for preservation. Very easy to use with the bags included in the package. The sealing function can also be used for large bags of chips and other snacks! Very happy with my purchase particularly with the discount coupon. There is a vacuum tube that can be used with canisters. Would be even happier if a matching canister is also included in the package.

Works fine. I think this class of product has gotten to the point which basic units do everything that is needed. I really love that this locks closed and I don't have to put all of my weight on it for the seal to work. I had a black and decker from 10ish years ago that I hated using because I had to hold it down during the whole process.

Didn't perform like hope. To difficult to seal bag and it takes for ever to take air out of bag and it keeps popping out of place to seal bag. I even bought the bags that were for machine
