What country is it made in

Answer: There is no tag or any information on the sealer itself and I threw away the papers that came with it. I suspect it probably was made in China but don't know that for sure. I will say this, this handy little gadget does a great job on sealing potato chips, cookies, etc and I don't have to take out my big sealer except when I want to vacuum seal meats or things that I plan to put in freezer.

Does this vacuum seal the bags too or just close them?

Answer: It seals them. I do it several times to make sure they are sealed well. Some snack bags with a slick lining , takes a few passes to seal them. They are easy to pull apart when you want to reopen them or you just cut them open.

How does this sealing machine work ?

Answer: I believe it uses heat to seal the bags back onto itself. It comes with a charger and make sure its all the way charged before using. Should be a blue light on and you just clamp the bag shut and slowly move along where you want to close. I noticed once it needs charged again it starts losing its sealing powers!

Answer: Nt sure, but it melts lightweight plastic pretty good. Mekted plastic has never burned me to touch it.

Answer: I just tried it on a small piece of bubble wrap and you have to really press hard but it does seal it.

Answer: Yes it does! I’ve used it in cereal bags, broken ziplock bags, frozen food bags, and chip bags! It has worked perfectly for every single one :)

This worked ok, if you stop every inch, then go back n do it again. Time waster, but if you get it to work, it's nice,light,magnet on to keep on microwave.
Wouldn't buy it again, you might want to gift it to someone you don't really like- but have to fake it to keep peace- looks thoughtful.????

It keeps cereal/chips/cookie bags sealed until you run out plastic bag space to seal the goods. Unfortunately battery life is not the best which is its biggest flaw. After several uses it starts to turn on and off making for inconsistent seal. Needs to be fully recharge again to avoid this problem. (occurs after 3-4 consistent seals) I probably have defective lithium battery on mine, but for its price, I didn't bother returning it as the slight inconvenience is tolerable. When it works, it functions great.

I'm impressed with this bag sealer. First off, I love that it's rechargeable. There's no chance of corroding batteries! That is what happened with my previous sealer. It's small, lightweight, so it'd be very easy to take this on the go! I tested it on my haribo bag and it worked great! It even works to seal ends of food vacuum seal bags so if your vacuum sealer doesn't have the seal only option, this works great to save money by buying rolls. The only caution tip I would say is watch how hard you press down on thinner bags, you end up just like cutting through the plastic instead of sealing it. I will definitely be taking this while I travel and it's very reasonably priced!

I really do love this thing. I wish it lasted longer or came with a replacement. It's great that it has a magnet and an off switch and I will probably buy another at some point but the seems silly to recharge it when it stops sealing after a few months because the 'tab' is burnt out.

I got this to replace a cheap one I got from China - which barely worked and died after a month or so.. This sealer is awesome. Its USB rechargeable, heats quickly and seals with ease. It also has a hidden blade so you can trim your bags, and finally, it has a magnet on the back so it sticks on the refrigerator.

Wonderful value for the money, I was exhilarated tbh when I opened the package and pressed the button, because it turned on. Most products do not come like that when they're sealers. I love how is magnetic so I hang it on my little fridge in my room.
