What country is it made in

Answer: There is no tag or any information on the sealer itself and I threw away the papers that came with it. I suspect it probably was made in China but don't know that for sure. I will say this, this handy little gadget does a great job on sealing potato chips, cookies, etc and I don't have to take out my big sealer except when I want to vacuum seal meats or things that I plan to put in freezer.

Does this vacuum seal the bags too or just close them?

Answer: It seals them. I do it several times to make sure they are sealed well. Some snack bags with a slick lining , takes a few passes to seal them. They are easy to pull apart when you want to reopen them or you just cut them open.

How does this sealing machine work ?

Answer: I believe it uses heat to seal the bags back onto itself. It comes with a charger and make sure its all the way charged before using. Should be a blue light on and you just clamp the bag shut and slowly move along where you want to close. I noticed once it needs charged again it starts losing its sealing powers!

What is the temperature in degrees that it reaches?

Answer: Nt sure, but it melts lightweight plastic pretty good. Mekted plastic has never burned me to touch it.

Can you use this on bubble wrap?

Answer: I just tried it on a small piece of bubble wrap and you have to really press hard but it does seal it.

Answer: Yes it does! I’ve used it in cereal bags, broken ziplock bags, frozen food bags, and chip bags! It has worked perfectly for every single one :)

Answer: Yes, very easy. Plug it in to charge. Press on button, it lights up. I wait a minute then use it. I use it to reseal my Color Street nail colors.

Answer: Worked once then quit. I would not recommend this junk product unless you enjoy wasting money.

Will food sealer work on cryovac or freezer bags used in storing frozen meat ?

Answer: If the cryovac bag is plastic and the thickness is according to manual,it will seal it.

This product burns through normal bags without sealing them and cannot seal thicker bags at all. The product has never been able to seal a single item and I've been trying to seal anything and everything to prove that it actually has some value whatsoever. I find it hard to believe that anyone could give this product more than 1 star since this has literally not worked to seal a single thing of any thickness. Also, there's a magnet that - you guessed it - doesn't stick to anything metal and is also non-functioning.

Simple to use. I tried it on a Doritos bag, and it works well! I thought I need to practice for it, but no, just press the botton, wait for a few seconds, and slide on the bag. And that's it!

I got this to replace a cheap one I got from China - which barely worked and died after a month or so.. This sealer is awesome. Its USB rechargeable, heats quickly and seals with ease. It also has a hidden blade so you can trim your bags, and finally, it has a magnet on the back so it sticks on the refrigerator.

There’s so many chip bags laying around in the house with clips & long flaps of the chip bags. The moment i got this, i cut off all the extra flaps from chip bag & sealed it. What a satisfying experience! It sure does its job. The only thing is that for some chip bags, it might ripped as u seal. Maybe because the bags are thin. But nonetheless, I love this!!! For myself, and open bag of potato chips quickly becomes an empty bag of potato chips. Who wants stale potato chips?
The first couple of times using it I had a learning curve but it's better than a clip and more convenient than pulling out the countertop vacuum sealer machine. Having a magnet on it to stick it to the refrigerator makes it convenient so I don't have to find it in the drawer.
