solocanoe : Slight learning curve...but a great net

Once I got the hang of the opening (give it a good fast flick) then I really like it. I find I tend to leave it open when I'm wading and let it hang off the magnetic keeper...but man, it is so nice when I'm moving, walking in, or walking out...and it folds up so small...it can fit in a pocket on my fishing backpack for when I'm not using it or storage!!

***edit - I ordered another one May 2019. I still can't over how nice this net is - 99% of why I like it is the small size when folded and the other 1% is the wide opening - makes it really nice to net fish...but without having to carry a really large net. I have one of these for my kayak I keep at the house...and another one for my fishing canoe I keep at our lake house.

Very Poorly made. Very hard to open. (Thought I was going to break it when I tried.)
I wanted to return it, but they do not except returns.

I recommend you spend a few extra $$’s and get a better one. And from a seller that excepts returns !

Net is inconvenient and I wouldn't purchase again. Net got ripped easily and fish got tangled up in it. Net tangled multiple time and it's hard to open buyer beware.

Works great and functions as it should. The only thing I would change is maybe it be a little bit larger. Just a little bit, it's almost perfect size between functional and compact.
