The convenient of pre-cut bags is fantastic as long as the sizing is close to what you need. These are huge bags which I like to use to seal up my homemade bacon. You could also fit a beef roast or half a chicken in them easy.
-Material quality is fine. Maybe a tiny bit thinner than name-brand but seem to work equivalently.
-There is a easy-tear cutout on one side.

These sealer bags that I bought are heavy-duty and of good quality. I have used it for storing the food to keep them fresh. So far no problem at all. Seal well and do not leak. Highly recommended to my friends.

My initial reaction to bags rather than rolls of material that can be cut to make original sized bags was that why would I use bags rather than make my own. But time catches up with us all, and time is required to make your own bags. These bags are excellent. They hold a vacuum with no problem at all. And for one or two items, they are a good fit.

I have a Foodsaver V4400 so this may be different for different models, but I am thrilled with these vacuum bags. There's 100 of each size and they do a great job with my machine. The sizing does seem to be a bit off by saying 100 quart 6x10 and 100 quart 8x12. The extra 2 inches in each direction makes them more like a pint and a quart size, but no issues otherwise beyond a misnomer with sizing.
The bags have the bubbled surface on them that allow the sealer to pull air out and vacuum the bag, and they also have an easy tear end on them. They don't have a strip for writing the date, but I used a permanent marker without any issues. The easy tear is a little finicky, though. Once the bag seals it, it kind of tightens the end with the easy tear pouch depending on how the food is centered. I sealed up some meat and produce for a test and they both did great. These are going to be a staple this summer with preserving extra garden food for my family and my animals.
One end of the bag is already sealed so all I had to do was vacuum and seal on the moist setting for my items. 200 bags for just $29 works out to roughly 15 cent per bag. It's much better than tossing out a chicken breast or even a bag of frozen veggies. These will be great for blanching and freezing, too. I chose to order these Vacuum Sealer Bags to use with my vacuum sealer machine as I was running low on my current bags and was happy to give these a try.

The size is so big, makes it so versatile you can fit in whole joints of meat, so you can pretty much seal anything you want.
Works with a no one vacuum sealer I have tried it with, and even if you don't have one, you still can use it as a v strong food and and just put it in the freezer wrapping up the ends.

Having a vacuum food saver appliance is a handy kitchen tool especially when I buy in bulk and repackage into smaller portions. For lunch meat and cheese these are particularly a good size. These Quart Sized bags will do the job as they are 8 inches x 10 inches (100) and 8 inches x 12 inches (100) with food safe BPA plastic construction. This package (Picture 1) holds a total of 200 bags that are open at one 8 inch end which is easy to fit for any vacuum sealer. The plastic bags have vacuum channels (one side is patterned to provide vacuum application) and are thick enough for proper protection and to seal properly. These can be used for sous vide also. Picture 2 shows the bags' pattern. Picture 3 one laid on my vacuum food sealer saver appliance for use with pepperoni slices. Picture 4 the good seal - I usually do 2 seal lines for reassurance.

You can also take things out of them and reseal them. They’re very good quality and stay sealed. They save loads of space in the freezer and they’re really useful as we rely on shopping deliveries so we like to keep the freezer well stocked with meat and cooked meals. I haven’t tried sous vide cooking but I keep being tempted, I may well give it a go with these bags. 100 huge bags for under 25p a bag is a good deal and I’m very pleased with these.

This product works just great. The bags work just fine in my sealer and it's nice to have two sizes for convenience. It's also nice that the package comes with a large number of bags, so it should last for quite a while. Both sizes of bags have a small pre-cut tear at one side to make re-opening the bag after sealing it the easiest thing in the world. In fact, I have no complaints about the product itself.
My one complaint is the bizarre sizing information. It comes with two sizes of bags, both advertised as "quart" size, one of which is advertised as 6 X 10 and the other as 8 X 12. Allow me to clear up the confusion this advertising must have created. The set does come with two sizes, and they are *approximately* the dimensions indicated. By my ruler, the smaller back is actually closer to 6 X 9.75 and the larger is closer to 8 X 11.75, but to me that slight discrepancy isn't a big deal. The smaller one actually will hold approximately a quart (though you'd actually probably never want to fill it that much). The larger will hold a little more than 2 quarts (though, again, you'd never want to fill it all the way to its capacity).

I find myself using my vacuum sealer more and more to keep my food fresh in the freezer. I also often cook using sous vide. For large items such as ribs and chicken drumsticks, the large bag size comes in handy. It lets me store a lot of them in one bag without worrying about it being too small and not being to seal. The small bag works well with berries and single slices of steaks. The bags are a good thickness. I finally learned that the embossed channels is there to increase suction, allowing the bag to scrunch up more easily. I haven't had any puncture problems or leaks. My leak problems in the past has been due to improper heat seals by my vacuum sealer. I have learned to seal it twice to create a strong seal. I really like these bags and they should last me for a few months.

I like the fact they are strong and will even hold a roast with a bone in and the bags remain intact with no damage whatsoever. I also like the fact the bags are so good that even when my foods are in the freezer for a longer period there is no freezer burn on the food which pleases me as freezer burn destroys the look of the food for me personally.

M. Ross : Very handy, but I can't trust them
First let me say these bags are a big convenience over roll-type media. The rolls certainly have their place, because they let you choose the size to fit the items you're sealing, but if you're preparing a lot of things for the freezer or other storage, the extra step of sealing the bottoms of the bags gets to be tedious, and pre-sealed bags are a big help. This product comes in two sizes, which also gives you some flexibility. I also appreciate the little notch in each bag that lets you tear them open easily.
Note that the actual inside width in the bags is 5" for the smaller one and 7" for the larger one, so the advertised 6" and 8" is for the overall width and therefore a little misleading.
The first thing I did was to run some tests before using these bags for storage. I vacuum sealed some leftover brats in one of the small bags. Within minutes I could see that the seal wasn't holding. There were air gaps forming and I could move the brats around freely in the bag. So I got another bag and tried again. Same result. I can even smell the smoked brats right through the bag.
FAIL.
I also vacuum sealed a test subject - a plastic avocado I've used before - and it seems to be holding like it should. So these bags seem to work with some items and not others.
The bottom line for me is that I can't trust these bags, and that's a big disappointment. Loss of seal means things in the freezer will get frost- and freezer-burn, and things in the fridge or pantry will degrade faster.
I'd like to be able to trust these bags, but I can't, and I don't want to have to keep checking them for leakage. I'll find some use for them, but for things that really need to be sealed against air infiltration, these bags fail.
UPDATE 48 hours later:
The plastic avocado test subject failed, too, after about 12 hours. I then redid the test using another vacuum sealing machine, a Seal-a-Meal, and this time it is holding. I can only assume the 2nd machine seals better with these bags than my go-to machine, a BonsenKitchen I have used successfully with a wide variety of bags.
I can only deduce that these bags might work with your vacuum sealer and they might not. I don't know if it's the texture or the composition of the bag material, but this is the first bag that has not worked flawlessly with the BonsenKitchen machine.

This is a good value pack of 200 heavy duty vacuum sealer bags by Mrang at the current price of around twenty-four pounds from Amazon. These bags are supplied in a simple pack and seem to be of catering quality – they are freezer safe, microwavable and dishwasher-safe – one end is pre-sealed and they work really well with our Goscien vacuum sealer. Vacuum sealing prevents a lot of the problems you can get when storing food and allows you to store for longer. These bags measure 20cm by 30cm – 8 by 12 inches – so can hold a decent amount, and are just right for our needs. I hadn't heard of this brand previously but the quality is at least as good as our regular ones and at the price we would choose the again – five stars for quality and value.
