I purchased a variety of sizes and have used them all. I LOVE this brand! I purchased a pack of bulk brat sausages. I had to break the packet down into dinner portions for the freezer. I was in a hurry and forgot to freeze or at least firmly chill the sausages prior to repackaging them. The sausages were barely chilled and I still got a perfect seal on ALL packages--and the packages STAYED SEALED!!! This just doesn't happen with the original brand. The bag's cutting line doesn't have to be absolutely perfect either! These are a GREAT value. I only wish there were markings on each side of the roll to guide the scissors, but I can live with that since the bags are not as "picky" as the other brand.

We use our food saver all the time, and it can be really expensive to continually buy the branded sealer bags. I was so excited when I found these. They are great! I think they may actually be slightly thicker than the branded version and I was worried it may not seal as well, but it works beautifully. The only negative is that these do not have the little space to write a date or label. I just wrote on the bag, so not a deal breaker. I will be ordering again.

This takes the guesswork out of having to make bags from a large (wide) roll.
I like that this has 2 smaller sizes (6" and 8") that are not that common. I have a few rolls of the wider bags, but I was happy to find these small ones.
They are perfect for sealing spices, specialty flour, almond meal, nuts, dried fruit and other items that don't normally get a lot of use (at least in my kitchen)
These can also be used to keep your documents and jewelry safe. I have a number of silver pieces that I don't want tarnished. How to prevent tarnish? Seal these into a bag with one little pack of desiccant. I think a lot of people have food sealers and don't use them nearly enough. Once the initial novelty wears off, they get relegated to the back of the cupboard.
Time to take it out and SEAL stuff for freshness and longevity.
I have bought large blocks of yeast and only keep about 1/2 cup in use at any time. What to do with the remaining 2 cups? Seal it in these bags and keep them in the freezer or cupboard. You can divvy it up into smaller bags for easy use. The middle size is perfect for blocks of cheese.
The bags are easy to wash out and reuse as long as you give the end a new strip to seal. Ensure the bags are completely dry before using ;)

These bags paid for themselves the 1st time I used them! I put some frozen beef stew meat in the fridge to thaw & completely forgot about it for over a week. When I opened the bag, the meat was absolutely fine...no smell, no discoloration, but I still was hesitant, so I cooked it up & tried it just to make sure it was safe to eat. No problems!
