Answer: The width of the food saver bag roll is fixed, but the length can be adjusted according to your needs. You can use a cutter or simply set the length with scissors. Cut open, seal one end, put the food in it, vacuum and seal, and done!

Answer: I use these for jerky and other items. No issues with holes. I just have to be careful with frozen foods. That’s where I get my holes - packages bumping and rubbing against each other in the freezer.

I bought these after reading the reviews, kind of an even split between negative and positive. They are kind of thin. My Seal A Meal worked great on the medium sized roll. When I Freeze soup, I put them in a regular "zip" type bag first anyway. It's just easier to vacuum seal it that way. Anyway, they sealed great! So far, I don't regret my purchase at all.

I use these with my Food Saver. I have the Brand machine, but the brand name rolls can be costly. I've ordered this set of plastic rolls twice now and plan on reordering again when I run out. When I purchase any meat, I prep it and fresh seal each portion so that I only thaw out what is needed. These plastic rolls haven't failed yet.

These bags paid for themselves the 1st time I used them! I put some frozen beef stew meat in the fridge to thaw & completely forgot about it for over a week. When I opened the bag, the meat was absolutely fine...no smell, no discoloration, but I still was hesitant, so I cooked it up & tried it just to make sure it was safe to eat. No problems! Wish I had bought these a long time ago instead of using the zipper type freezer bags. The roll is nice because you can make it any size you need & the quality is very good. I have washed the bags on the top rack of the dishwasher which was surprising.

I like being able to chose my own size. These hold up very well to sous vide. I just cooked a pork belly for 12 hours at 170F no issues. Broke up and froze a large pack of ground beef very easily as well. Will buy again!

I purchased a variety of sizes and have used them all. I LOVE this brand! I purchased a pack of bulk brat sausages. I had to break the packet down into dinner portions for the freezer. I was in a hurry and forgot to freeze or at least firmly chill the sausages prior to repackaging them. The sausages were barely chilled and I still got a perfect seal on ALL packages--and the packages STAYED SEALED!!! This just doesn't happen with the original brand. The bag's cutting line doesn't have to be absolutely perfect either! These are a GREAT value. I only wish there were markings on each side of the roll to guide the scissors, but I can live with that since the bags are not as "picky" as the other brand.

Ordered these for my new food saver as replacements. They are a great value. They keep the food fresh and are easy to use. These bags have really maximized cost savings when I smoke on my Trager. I do double the meat, package it in serving size portions, freeze and reheat in the bags in hot water. Saves money on pellets since I maximize grill output and the food is fresh when reheated. I no longer have to use a pan or microwave to reheat which made the smoked meat leftovers gross, before I discovered these.
The plastic does seem to be a tad thinner, and grooves a different pattern, but has the same end use function as the name brand bags for less $. Give them a try. Thank you!!!!

It's hard for me to rate this because they didn't end up working with my foodsaver vacuum sealer. On top of that, I only receive 2 of the 6 rolls and both Amazon and I reached out to them and I never heard back. Amazon ended up having to give me a gift card instead of me getting my money back or getting the product I paid for.

Having a choice of sizes when vacuum sealing is almost essential, the 4 sizes provided cover nearly all vacuum sealing requirements for all meats and other items to be vacuum sealed for future use in refrigerator or freezer. They are also less expensive than vacuum bags found at brick and mortar retail outlets. Well worth the cost of these offered by Amazon.
