Answer: The width of the food saver bag roll is fixed, but the length can be adjusted according to your needs. You can use a cutter or simply set the length with scissors. Cut open, seal one end, put the food in it, vacuum and seal, and done!

I bought these because I freeze a lot of our meat and I wanted to have find a larger quantity that the smaller rolls. I am very happy, sometimes non Ziploc brand bags don't work, but these work great and I will buy them again.

I had the help of a friend the 1st try, and we tore it-so fortunately we had enough to do over.
We did it the next day, but it took three of us to hold the film, squirt the water and get the edges straight.
It was well worth the effort. My two windows were 3' x 4' each. I also had to remove the locks to get the film to the edge.

I like this product but it has proven to be a little faulty. I’ve had multiple bags lose their seal and puff with air either immediately after sealing or while in the freezer. This leads to potential freezer burn if I don’t catch it in time and as you can see I didn’t here. Needs improving just a bit it seems.

I used these for the first time yesterday after buying them on Prime Day. They work better than the ones that came with my "Nesco Delux Vacuum Sealer" I bought off Amazon about 6 months ago.
I would definitely purchase these again, no doubt about it. Works perfectly and better than the ones Nesco gave me with the machine and were a steal compared to the prices of others off here.

I purchased a variety of sizes and have used them all. I LOVE this brand! I purchased a pack of bulk brat sausages. I had to break the packet down into dinner portions for the freezer. I was in a hurry and forgot to freeze or at least firmly chill the sausages prior to repackaging them. The sausages were barely chilled and I still got a perfect seal on ALL packages--and the packages STAYED SEALED!!! This just doesn't happen with the original brand. The bag's cutting line doesn't have to be absolutely perfect either! These are a GREAT value. I only wish there were markings on each side of the roll to guide the scissors, but I can live with that since the bags are not as "picky" as the other brand.

I use these with my Food Saver. I have the Brand machine, but the brand name rolls can be costly. I've ordered this set of plastic rolls twice now and plan on reordering again when I run out. When I purchase any meat, I prep it and fresh seal each portion so that I only thaw out what is needed. These plastic rolls haven't failed yet.

The heat seal was good and solid, and air vacuumed out very well, and most of all they seem durable enough.

I love to seal food to freeze, and to store dehydrated food for longer storage. These rolls are perfect for both as I can cut down to size. If cut for a bigger item, I can clean, rinse thoroughly, let dry and reuse for smaller items. Keeps items water proof for back packing, kayaking, camping. Good to have for any occasion. With dry ingredients can vaccum seal in with the seasoning included, or use as a marinade un-vaccumed with liquids.
