These are a great addition to my smoker. I don't have to guess what pellets are in the hopper. I place the "current" label to the outside of the hopper, next to the control panel (PitBoss Sportsman 820). The unused labels, I place on the underside of the hopper lid, inside. They magnetically "stick" well.

I like to smoke using different woods but was constantly trying to figure out how to make sure I know what pellets were in my smoker from the last use. These magnets are just the ticket. When I fill my hopper I put the matching magnet inside the lid. Now I always know what I have in the hopper and I only have to empty it when I’m switching to a new pellet. This has saved me the pain of either emptying the hopper every time I finish or racking my brain (or my wife’s) trying to remember what I last used (it’s like trying to remember what you ate for breakfast yesterday, good luck!).

The magnets also have graphics indicating which foods go best with that type of pellet, which is really handy if you want to try a new combination or you run out of your standby pellet. They come in a metal case that can be used for storage. I just put them on the outside of my hopper where they’re easy to get to.

All of my favorite pellet varieties are included and there’s also a magnet for a blend if you happen to use a premixed blend. If you like to make your own blend, then just attach all the magnets for each pellet flavor included in your custom blend.

Overall, I think these are a great addition to my smoker.

I like to think that I will remember which pellets I have in the hopper but a pellet pretty much looks like a pellet and my memory fails me more often than I like to admit.
The magnets are colored for easy identification and have large easy to read letters (no glasses needed). The pictures on each magnet show which meats are best with each pellet flavor making choosing easy and keeps me from having to look it up.
The storage tin is very sturdy and looks great.
