Don’t waste your money! They smell terrible, they don’t have any natural movement, and I’ve actually seen bass come up to it and swim away! I put on a different lure and started catching fish!

It was a successful fishing trip so that says a lot. The bait went through weedy areas without getting hung up. Has enough weight to it that it is easy to cast. Hopefully they will hold up well but if not, for the price would be worth purchasing again.

I got them as a gift for my boyfriend, he really liked them. So far he has used the transparent glitter one, and he caught a bass right off the bat. My father saw them and liked them so much he had me order some for him too.

Overall a decent cheap set of lures. Did they last me super long? Kind of...? Let me explain something, because I’d like to give these 3.5 stars if I could. If you’re not worried about having the treble hook on the lure forever, then you’re set. These aren’t terrible at all really, and I don’t know why people have been saying they stink (smell wise) and don’t hold up. My only complaints with this product are that the treble hooks aren’t fastened on very well and that the eyes on the actual lure are cheap. The treble hooks are prone to come off after using for a while, heck, I even lost a Gar after it bit my treble and took the whole thing off the lure! The eyes are sticky backed and will eventually come off if you’re hard on stuff like I am and put lures through the ringer at your 8 different fishing spots. Overall I’d say you’d have better luck with a cheap (maybe even cheaper) set of lures from Walmart, but if you’re in a pinch and need to order some, these wouldn’t be awful

Although these are a great bargain and very effective for stripers and sand bass, when fished on an Alabama Rig, the paint on the heads starts flaking off pretty much as soon as you take them out of the package.

I thought the selection was great for the price. They look pretty durable and the colors are perfect. The only problem is the smell that comes off them...it is VERY strong. Will try to get rid of it before I take them out for a test drive this weekend. Will update this then to see how they work.

Update - so looks like they were a great buy!!! Ended up getting a few smaller random fish with them, but the catch of the day ---- a pike that got lost and now is feeding my family in the other room :). Definitely worth the purchase.
