Do I need to assemble these?

Answer: No..you will need to put it on your lure tho

Answer: I am using these skirts strictly as a replacement on spinner baits which of course have permanent hooks

These are hole in one skirts?

Answer: yes

Would these work for a hula popper?

Answer: Depends on the size of the hula popper. Smaller ones, yes, Larger ones, these may snap.

Answer: No, the holes are to small

Answer: Yes. Used them many times

Do these melt?

Answer: Haven't tried to heat them but assume that they will melt at a high enough temperature, i.e., hot grill, safety match, etc..

Can individual strands of the skirt be pulled through the band to make them longer or shorter on top or underneath or are they all glued to the band?

Answer: Yes the strands are in the center of two separate bands. But once on the lure hard to do but not impossible but if you want to shag them out you certainly can.

What colors are included?

Answer: You get 4 of each color shown. I like mine and think they are/were a great deal. Caught over 12 bass today here in SW FL! Tight Lines

These are exactly as described, they attach to jig-heads easily and the individual strands are all separated and move freely. Unfortunately I'm not a very good fisherman so my luck with them has been lacking but I have a special talent for picking the wrong color and spot so you might have better results.

They are as good as the skirts that come on the factory spinnerbaits.

D&J Burton : Most important tip for this skirt

So they don't reach over well without flipping inside out. Use an oil to get them on a jig that has a bait holder so it doesn't flip and lose the skirt. Experience will show u. Try one on a chatter bait by zman and u will understand u need to lube it so it gets up the notches smoothly without flipping the skirt ????
