Product Description
120 SMD Super Bright LED Lights, 1000 Lumens Brightness.
How Do Fishing Lights Work?
The principle behind underwater fishing lights is the activation of the marine food chain.
Zooplankton and insects are attracted to the light and swim to the surface.
Baitfish such as shad, minnows, shrimp, and squid then arrive in pursuit of the plankton.
Then, predatory game fish soon follow, and the fishing fun begins.

Questions about 12V 120 LED Submersible Fishing Light Underwater Fish Finder Lamp, Night Fishing Lure Bait Finder Crappie Boat Ice Fishing Light Attractants More Fish in Freshwater & Saltwater, with 6M Power Cord
Q:
How deep do you drop this light in the water?
Answer: I use a 3 ounce weight anchored to the bottom. Drop it over and then the fun begins. Hundreds of bait fish start showing up. Then larger targets. Stay for an hour. Cast out beyond the light 40 ft with a bottom bouncer and night crawler to hook monster cat fish as you drag back into the light. Love this light. To protect it. It has its own 22" plastic tool box with my fish finder, transom, and detachable stern light for my canoe. Used a quick change fitting for the connection.
Answer: I normal drop it about two feet. After you get a big school of minnows around it I like to fish with black or a dark jig under light. Crappie will come up pretty swallow. I have two lights and sometimes I will drop one light deep close to brush pile and fish by it also.
Answer: I have had it floating on the surface, anchored about 5 feet, then anchored about 15 feet. It worked best at about 15 feet because it attracted fish in the area that my bait was at. The only problem that I have with it is that I tied it to a rope with and anchor and the rope tangles with the electric cord.
Answer: I just drop it about a foot. You will need a weight as it floats
Answer: About 10 feet in mercy water before it starts to fade the brightness
Answer: any depth is fine. It really depends on the depth you are fishing in. on a dock I go 3 to 4 feet. on the boat 8 to 10. just do not go to the bottom. The scraping bumping sounds spook fish away.
Answer: Yes you can,and it has a ring on it to tie a small weight to it so it sinks because it floats if you dont weigh it down.
Answer: I wasnt able to use it ..it came broken in the box
Q:
Does it come in white light?
Answer: No, this is a green light, we have 14W white light which is in out of stock, you can check the listing later, thank you.

what color light should I use for fresh water fishing for perch, bass, and catfish?
Answer: I use green, it supposedly generates the most of the little critters that minnows are attracted to....white, blue, also supposed to be good, but green has always generated plenty of baitfish to bring the crappies I fish for, so I haven't tried other colors.
Answer: I went with the green and received mine yesterday. Went out last night and caught about 20 crappie and 1 big bass. Had 3 other very large bass break our crappie hooks. We had so many bait fish is was scary. We dropped ours just under the surface and were fishing with minnows.

REL : Oh so bright!
Don't look at them directly or you'll be seeing spots! So bright... Can't wait to get out fishing with it!
punkman : junk shines bright for a split second then goes dim
To cheap to even mess with returning it, junk out of the box though, threw it away.
Woody : Five Stars
Lights up all around the viewfinder water just tried it out didn't use it for fishing yet

Worked great!
Amazon Customer : we got lights
I haven't used them yet, but as soon as I do I'll give an update. They look like they'll do the job tho, they are well constructed an the thing I do like about them is you have 360 degrees of LED Lights an they are actually bigger then I thought they would be. I really like the way the connection is set up from the battery with 2 nice clamps and plenty of extra wire to put in the water.
eric : Light
Worked great!
Clinton : Missing components!
This product is suppose to contain the battery connections according to your description. Package opened in good shape but has no connectors for battery so product is deemed useless without. Please correct this obvious overlook for updated review and customer satisfaction.
douglass gibson : Small, compact and packs a bunch of bright light
I haven't had the opportunity to fully test it out on the catch but it definitely starts the food chain. With in a couple of minutes you can see photplankten then bait fish.
Mannix : GREAT VALUE
Works awesome. I lower it down a few feet below our houseboat and wait for our own personal aquarium. Fun to watch the monster stripers swim under the light!
Bryan Housler : Make sure to but some dielectric grease on the connector to avoid corrosion
Works great very bright, only 2 things that can be improved upon the cord needs to be longer and a weight clip would be nice to make attaching a weight easier
Donny : Worth price and then some
Light is super bright and lights up water very good would give it 5 stars if cord was longer. But for price ot is well worth price
Bryan Housler : Make sure to but some dielectric grease on the connector to avoid corrosion
Works great very bright, only 2 things that can be improved upon the cord needs to be longer and a weight clip would be nice to make attaching a weight easier
Richard Fulks : Have to clean once a week
Does exactly what I wanted them to do
LunchboxCritter : Bright little fishing lights
I used these little guys for shrimping in strong satwater current for longer than a season.
K B : Nice light for Crappie fishing or to attract shad.
Love this light, very bright and being it's LED very little battery drain. I love to Crappie fish and being I'm in Arizona I like to fish for them at night when it's a little cooler during the summer. It's great to get the shad to come to the light and then the Crappie move in for the shad. I wish I could get this in white as well.
HARRY DOOMS : Great for kayaks
They are very bright, easy to handle and hook up, and very compact for kayak storage. Very impressed ????????????????
Randy Harrison : Good quality at a decent price.
It’s incredibly bright. I haven’t had any issues. Brings in small aquatic life and the bigger fish follow. It’s also priced right to play around with.
Pat Haught : Awesome light for low price
Purchased to take to Watts Bar Lake in TN for vacation. As soon as we dropped the light in the lake, minnows appeared. Works awesome. Very inexpensive! Gives off a lot of light for night fishing from boat or dock. Highly recommend!
Paul arthur : Works well but battery clips are low quality
Great product and it really works! Tons of fish around this thing. Super bright! Would have given it 5 stars but the positive clip broke before i even got to use it. Was able to jerry rig it temporarily. Bummer.
John : good
good
Katie E : Works as described
Works great. Didnt notice a huge difference with fish quantity but could definitely see them swimming by. Was a fun experiment. Still like it, ca t wait to get to use it more!
Jesse R. : Disappointing
The waterproof connection plug to the alligator clips.. has a loose wire inside the head.. other than that it looks pretty well made.. Great Lengths on the coated wire going to the light.. but I am disappointed that it came unusable
Kevin : Good
This works great.
NIKKI : Water leaked in.
Purchased this product for a family camping trip to night fish with. When the product arrived we very excited. We noticed a small bit of rust but determined it must be from testing. Once we arrived the dropped the light in and it immediately filled with water. However we are unable to determine how much he water got in so a week later it's still has water in it and is now rusting it. Very disappointed in the product.
After reaching out to the company. They were very quick and persistent to send me a replacement. The new item works perfectly and we couldn't be more happy with the product and most importantly the customer service we were given!
Bob Cherry : Brings the bait fish to your boat.
Brings the bait fish to your boat.
Dark Helmet : Cheap. Bright. Draws fish.
All of the night fishing crappie anglers who use lights around here have Coleman lanterns or electric lamps that hang over the water. They work to draw fish, but also draw a huge amount of bugs during the late spring and summer. I've had an inch of dead bugs in the bottom of my lantern after a night of fishing. They divebomb everything the light reflects off of, including your face. I can only take so much of bugs crashing into my eyeballs.
So I wanted to try out a submersible light. I looked at the reviews, and even the expensive ones had negative reviews that mentioned leaks and short warranties. I figured if something is going to fail I'd rather have a $20 light fail than a $120 light, so I bought this one. I have only used it once but so far it seems well constructed. No leaks and it ran for 4 hours off a sealed 12V 7Ah lead-acid battery and only brought the battery down to about 50%. Very bright. The water was reasonably clear (I could see the light clearly at about 3') and there was a 20' circle of light around the dock. It started drawing what looked like water fleas almost immediately, and after about an hour there were thousands of them swarming around the light. I did see some minnows also, but the location was probably wrong for drawing large schools. I also saw some large trout or smallmouth bass darting through the light. We caught a lot of small crappies and some very nice perch using a jig that matched the approximate size and shape of the minnows we saw before a storm chased us off the water.
Not sure how long it will last, but so far I am impressed with the quality and brightness of this light and plan on buying another. The size is perfect for a small boat and I plan on taking them out in my kayak soon to hit better spots. I also like the long cord, which is perfect for hanging off bridges and piers at low tide. Don't waste your money on the $100 lights that only last a few trips.
I will update if it has problems in the future.
Costal Carolinas : Good light had my doubts but it came thru
Good light for night fishing lights up the water very well
Amazon Customer : Really works
I have used this 3 times now seems to bring in the bait fish well and it is much cheaper than the others I have seen I would definitely buy again
Caleb Gallagher : Bright!
I was surprised by the brightness of this light. It’s awesome. I used it for bowfishing from my kayak and it really lights up the fish and attracts small baitfish and walleye

Christopher k. Paquette : My 650 crank amp battery was not enough
Attracts tons of minows but kills battery fast like an hour and a new 650 battery is dead
Nikki : !!!!!

Thomas R Young : Unexpectedly Impressive!!!
Unbelievable! Never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Bought it fully expecting it to be a disappointment. Put it in the water next to my pier and joked with my family about this year's waste of money gadget. Within 30 minutes I had a huge school of crappie circling the light. Absolutely crazy!

Debbie : Great light!
I was skeptical about this light but the first time I put it in the water I saw how great it was. I used it in a canal in the florida keys and instant bait fish and if cast about a 6 foot circle of light around the light. It attracted tarpon and sharks. We caught a 5 foot nurse shark and a 5 foot tarpon just days after buying this light. Highly recommended!
Street Glide Nation : Very cool!
It really draws in the bait fish! Very happy with this product!
Brandi Flynn : Great for price
A lot brighter than I expected it to be! Especially for the price
Amazon Customer : Ordered 2, both worked well
I've only used these for a single saltwater trip, but on that trip they worked for 5+ nights without issue. So not sure if they will last for years to come but they definitely delivered this time. I followed the instructions to only connect them to a battery after placing them in the water and held them down with 8 oz sinkers. We rinsed the lights with fresh water each night after use and paired them with ExpertPower Standard 12V 7Ah Rechargeable SLA Battery, (EXP1270-2) and a Coleman 60132 Coleman 12V 1.5A Smart Battery Charger/Maintainer/Rejuvenator. We caught more fish than I expected and they did appear to attract little schools of bait fish on calm nights. Picture is BOTH an above water fishing spotlight and this product so don't be confused. The bright green glow in the left side of the picture is this product glowing. The water was very murky, so I'm sure it would look more impressive in clearer water, but it still did put out a good amount of light for the price.
Debbie : Great light!

Oleskool Hunter : Very small and very bright
Haven't used this item yet but as brite as it is I'm sure it will do what it suppose to do I tied a 2 oz weight on the bottom of the light should be enough weight to keep the light stable under water i wouldn't use no more weight than that
Kevin I Smith : Perfect light
It's very bright
