How deep do you drop this light in the water?
Answer: I use a 3 ounce weight anchored to the bottom. Drop it over and then the fun begins. Hundreds of bait fish start showing up. Then larger targets. Stay for an hour. Cast out beyond the light 40 ft with a bottom bouncer and night crawler to hook monster cat fish as you drag back into the light. Love this light. To protect it. It has its own 22" plastic tool box with my fish finder, transom, and detachable stern light for my canoe. Used a quick change fitting for the connection.
Answer: I normal drop it about two feet. After you get a big school of minnows around it I like to fish with black or a dark jig under light. Crappie will come up pretty swallow. I have two lights and sometimes I will drop one light deep close to brush pile and fish by it also.
Answer: I have had it floating on the surface, anchored about 5 feet, then anchored about 15 feet. It worked best at about 15 feet because it attracted fish in the area that my bait was at. The only problem that I have with it is that I tied it to a rope with and anchor and the rope tangles with the electric cord.

They look like they'll do the job tho, they are well constructed an the thing I do like about them is you have 360 degrees of LED Lights an they are actually bigger then I thought they would be. I really like the way the connection is set up from the battery with 2 nice clamps and plenty of extra wire to put in the water.
