Answer: Very Lightly....I take The Flukes place them in a heavy duty plastic zip lock back--I take my different scents and soak the plastic baits and let them sit in the bag for a good week. I love BANG GARKIC-- My Fav the is past 3 years is I buy a bottle of Anice (anisette) from my local ITALIAN STORE-- That LICORICE FLAVOUR is GOLD !- The fish suck that bait and don't let go ! GOOD LUCK !!!!! MY FAV BAIT---FLUKES and Jackall Cover Craw-- wet lines---

Can you use these in saltwater

Answer: i never have....the lure is designed to catch bass & other fresh water fish, i have no experience in salt water....the lure is a rubber swim bait that acts suspends a hair below the surface & with a twitch or two slightly breaks water & attracts a reaction bite from bass....

Answer: I've only used these baits in fresh water, however, I believe they should work in salt water as well. I would probably opt for a different color to simpulate a shrimp.

I'm debating on buying either the silver rainbow or the Albino colors.. so my question is, what do y'all recommend for fall/winter fluke/speck fishin?

Answer: I've have good luck with the albino fluke on a jighead or bucktail. I think either color will perform well, the action should be great on both.

Answer: Other stores can charge whatever they desire. This company delivers to your door. I don't know if the other companies do that without charging you. The network owner and shareholders have to make money and so do any independent company selling on Amazon. The last time i checked, it's a free country and people can charge what people like us pay. There are other locations and ways to get baits. I suggest if anyone's not happy here supply and demand can be taken anywhere one chooses.

What’s a good color for saltwater

Answer: White, or clear color, mimics shrimp

Answer: Clear is OK- but Clear with pearl glitter is even better. If the water is clear, then you want just a little color and flash. If the Water is dirty, or you are just scouting and covering a lot of water fairly quickly, then you can't go wrong with one of the more flashier colors- look for ones that have a different colored top and bottom. I would also recommend doing yourself a favor and picking up some DOA shrimp.

Do Trout Bite Theses?

Answer: I’m sorry I’ve never trout fished. I use them for large mouth bass and they work great. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for any fish that feeds on small fish. I’m located in south Mississippi.

Answer: I have caught trout on rubber worms and rubber crawdads fishing the bottom but not on flukes —but I fish flukes in the summer and usually on top and the trout are much deeper in our lake during warmer seasons. Long answer, I don’t really know but I do think I could catch trout now on a fluke as they are hitting spoons fished fairly near the top and in shallower water.

Easy to use and easy to catch fish with them make these one of my fav plastic baits. I find simply nose hooking these with circle octopus hook lets me get the best action. It also makes for an easier hook removal. But some times it will get short striked and I will texas rig it to get the hook further down the body to try and get better hook ups. Also, once it starts warming up, hooking it weed less is a must. For me, so far, the watermelon red, houdini, and watermelon magic are the best colors by far for the waters I fish for bass, and more visible colors ( albino has been my best ) for sight hunting fish like pickerel seem to work best.

For me though, often times when bass fishing these will get hit on the first drop when it hits the water. If bass are around and this is what they are looking for that day, they will come and get it. Can't tell you how many bass I have caught in heavy cover by simply throwing this in the weeds and waiting. I've even used this like a frog over pads and caught bass.

I use all the flukes from tiny to magnum. I find there is a time and place for all of them in my fishing season and every one of them catches me a lot of bass.
