Answer: Not really. Personally I found a little paint flaking the first time I used it. The hooks and split rings must be replaced before using. Hook barbs are too small for predatory fish strikes. Had too many snooks and small tarpon spitting the hooks. In the 10-pack you get eight different colours and the other 2 are the same colours- don‘t make sense...why not just sell an 8pack of one colour each???? You do not get a hold case so you have to get one, keeping them together makes the hooks tied up. The weight is nice though, you get a nice casting distance and nice popper action.

I was skeptical at first,I pay this much for a single rattle trap at times but needed something to fill my tacklebox up,but right out of the box I was impressed with these,decent paint job,EXTREMELY sharp and strong hooks,good action in the water and they catch fish!! But I gave 5 stars because these things will fly!! Most lipless crankbaits won't go more than a few yards but I'm getting triple that distance out of these,and the more water you can cover the more fish you can catch! I would recommend these as sougayilang will be a household name for me from now on!!

If I lose a $2 lure I do not cry . I lose a $20 lure I am heartbroken.. I use these lures in Fla Gulf and they troll nicely and cast great as well.. The hooks are very sharp.. The weak point of this lure is the split rings that attach the treble hooks to the lure.. My advice is to buy a kit with pliers of stainless steel rings.. 6 mm is what they have but I would say 6mm to 8 mm would be fine. I do rinse these with fresh water but they seem to rust. Also you can buy a big kit of treble hooks as well.. Money well spent..

I haven't seen any rusting like I saw in other reviews though I don't put them back in the small box they come with while they're wet. Perhaps thsts helped me. These are excellent crankbaits. Well balanced and great motion through the water column. I have caught several of 4 different bass species including stripers, large mouth, small mouth, and white bass in SW Texas reservoir. Hooks are decent but I upgraded the back ones with KVD size 2 for better hook ups.

As an avid angler I was a little sceptical of the lute quality at such a great price. I decided to give them a chance and it turned out to be a great decision! I used these lures to catch Snook, Large Mouth Bass, Jack Crevalle, and even a Tarpon! The Red and Golden lure has given the best results. The picture with this review is of a 40 inch Snook. Successfully landed the fish and used the exact same lure (Red and Golden Lure) to catch multiple other Snook, as well as Bass and a Tarpon.
Bottom Line: Very happy with results and would recommend all anglers have a set of these lures in their tackle box!
