Answer: This my second one works great for crawdads and shrimp

Answer: about quarter inch. too large for really small bait fish. the unit broke where pole attaches to net the first day. can't return it. oh well live and learn

How much weight can it hold

Answer: Not sure if I know what you mean but you could add a few lead weights if you needed to make the net sink in moving water, the frame is made of wire similar to a clothes hanger, netting is cloth like a dip net, for bait you only need a few small pieces of bread balled up.

What is the red ring that came inside the package

What is the yellow ring used for?

Answer: Plastic ring is for thing at the top end of tether line for anchoring to bank or hooking to boat I believe. Also could be used for float tie probably as well as something to hold besides loose line.

A lot smaller than it looks on Amazon. Also the holes do not open up uniformly into the unit. How to use some additional zip ties to hold it all together once it’s opened and to keep the holes open enough for critters to get in. Would not buy again. Addendum: didn't last long; material is cheap allowing large fish to break through and ultimately destroyed the netting.

I don't typically write too many reviews but I wanted to make sure nobody else gets tricked into buying this thing. You will open it up and go, "what on earth is this?" It's much smaller than expected, looks like if you handle it it's going to fall apart. It has zip ties holding it together and in my case the extremely cheap zipper did not work. One of the worst products I have ever purchased.

Plenty of bait fish went in..... openings were too big or not designed right....they would go in....but were able to get out with like resistance also. I've had other ones like these they kept the bait fish in once they swim in. If it weren't for that I would like this product. It was durable it seemed.

This item arrived, looked used and the zipper split apart on the first attempt to zip up. The netting had a hole, the metal wires had a green plastic coating, however it was stripped off in places. I did take photos, but could not upload. DO NOT waste your money with this cheap piece of junk!

A hole ripped in the side after my second time using it. Also the “entry” holes for the minnows failed to keep anything inside the trap. I had my bait and fish fall through the hole.
