Answer: This my second one works great for crawdads and shrimp

Answer: about quarter inch. too large for really small bait fish. the unit broke where pole attaches to net the first day. can't return it. oh well live and learn

Answer: Not sure if I know what you mean but you could add a few lead weights if you needed to make the net sink in moving water, the frame is made of wire similar to a clothes hanger, netting is cloth like a dip net, for bait you only need a few small pieces of bread balled up.

What is the red ring that came inside the package

What is the yellow ring used for?

Answer: Plastic ring is for thing at the top end of tether line for anchoring to bank or hooking to boat I believe. Also could be used for float tie probably as well as something to hold besides loose line.

The net has poor quality. I only use one time and then I through it out. The holes of the net were too small for crabs to get in. It was very light that it couldn't down to the deep. It floated on the sea. Totally not recommend purchasing this item. It doesn't worth the price.

So I’ve noticed from reviews that people are upset by the shoddy quality, which is fair. But this is a $10 fish trap (get what you pay for). This is perfect if you’re just curious to see what you can catch. It’s small and cheap and serves as a try out; “do I really wanna get into catching my own bait? Is it worth my time?”. And plus, if you get some zip ties and better rope and don’t throw it around, it’ll work fine. It’s not built to be cast out. Just drop it in the water and check back in an hour.

A lot smaller than it looks on Amazon. Also the holes do not open up uniformly into the unit. How to use some additional zip ties to hold it all together once it’s opened and to keep the holes open enough for critters to get in. Would not buy again. Addendum: didn't last long; material is cheap allowing large fish to break through and ultimately destroyed the netting.

We used it twice for minnows for bait. Used dog food to attract the minnows. First off... It's smaller than I expected. Secondly... It is literally held together with wire and zip ties....very poorly made. It worked ok the first time. Caught eight minnows because of the size. The second time, it fell apart and got two large holes in the netting, we're assuming from fish. Wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing it.
