Answer: They’ll get caught, but not too bad. You’d need a rubber net to completely avoid getting them caught, but those are too heavy in my opinion. I wish I’d bought the Promar years ago.

Answer: Not totally sure, but I have had nearly 90 northern pike netted that weigh 20 to 30 pounds with this netting and no tears or holes.

Answer: The first two numbers of the measurement are the length and width of the hoop diameter. The 3rd number is the depth of the bag. AxBxC where A is length, B is width, C is depth.

I got the Medium to replace the nylon bag on a brand new net. The hoop measured 22" long and 20" side to side. It took some doing having to bend the hoop ends past each other while feeding the net on and working it around. Well worth the 15 minutes effort. I already netted my biggest saugeye 25" with it and easy on the fish which was released. Any bigger hoop, I would go to Large size.

This net bag is an incredible value. Appears to be be well made and durable. I bought the extra large bag and installed it on a 32x32 catfish net. While the promar net was slightly larger than my hoop, it made for very easy installation. The finished product looks very neat on the hoop. Now I have a new , fish friendly musky net for a fraction of the cost. First impressions are extremely favorable.

This is a great net. It does take some time to put it on the frame, but fits well, nice balance, easy to remove fish safely and release quickly.

I had gotten a brand new 20x23" Frabill aluminum net free from a neighbor a few years back. It was the cheap version with the standard nylon net, and I hated it. I have a larger net with the conservation dipped netting, and I always used that because the net was so much better. However, it was a pain to use on trips locally where we wouldn't be catching super large fish because it was such a big net. Luckily, I found this available on Amazon and replaced the net on my smaller net. I don't know why I didn't look this up earlier. This is a massive upgrade from a standard nylon net, and I would highly recommend. It holds its shape and doesn't get tangled in itself. I haven't had major issues with hooks in these types of nets in the past, so I don't anticipate it being a problem. It only took me about 5 minutes to install and was much easier than taking off the old nylon net (which I actually cut off because it was so tight). I did have to bend the hoop ends over one another slightly when installing, but you should be fine if you don't push them too far. I highly recommend this and will buy another when this one wears out.

I have a EGO S2 landing net that had the conservation rubber netting. After many years of use and BIG inshore saltwater fish my rubber net started to fatigue. I replaced the original with the Promar Hook resist Medium size and it was a perfect fit. It took a little convincing to get the Promar net on but that was expected. I like that the Promar net was deeper than the orignial EGO net. I haven't had the opportunity to use the replacement net, but plan to this weekend. Inital thoughts on the replacement net from Promar are above expectations. The look, feel and overall quality of the product is nice. The biggest thing I already noticed was the amount of weight saved from switching from the heavy rubber netting. I will provide update after I spend some time on the water.

Ordered the Large bag for my Large Beckman Net. The measurement looked good and comparison when I received it was ok, but this net is very difficult to put on. I was on the verge of kinking my frame throughout the process. BUT I GOT IT. Many will give up I think. I think going a size up would have been too saggy for me. Watch the video in the add and don't be thinking you'll get it on in 15 or 20 minutes like he says.
I have used the net and it is very nice. Not as many tangles. I have since replaced my Walleye net and Trout net and they were difficult too but worth it I think.
I believe if they added a couple inches in circumference to all their sizes it would help a bunch.

J'avais une grande puise que j'ai utilisé quelques fois seulement pour la pêche au saumon. Le filet de cette puise ne convenait plus aux nouvelles normes du "catch & release". Was a bit of a witch to put on by the end you're just moving a 1/4 of an inch if that but it was fairly easy. The price isn't bad either. Very happy

Good rubber-coated replacement net, good quality, well made, and easy to install. So good, that I bought another to upgrade another landing net.

Now I just ordered and received the large size and it fits my 27x32 perfect. I'll be ordering a med for the trout net for sure. Excellent. Was a bit of a witch to put on by the end you're just moving a 1/4 of an inch if that but it was fairly easy. The price isn't bad either. Very happy
Update. Put the xl on the big basket muskie net and it's mint. Perfect size for BIG fish. Super deep. I'm actually happy I made the mistake of ordering the wrong, bigger size. I have an older Ranger net and just got into trolling with dble trble hook crank baits and fish AND hooks used to be a nightmare the way they would get all tangled in the old knotted netting.
After landing a fish (trout,bass,walleye,perch) I'd have to fight the wind being a single person in a 14ft boat
while trying to get the hook and fish fins unstuck from my net!! I ordered this and its a bit big but i like that and was super easy to take out the two screws on the net, slip old netting off and slip this one on.
Used it a few times and it's AWESOME!! Fish, Fish Fins and hooks do NOT get caught in this netting and it does soften up after few uses and it's 100% worth getting rid of old netting for this!!!
I was ready to sell my whole net set up at garage sale and have to spend triple to get new net so hooks wouldn't stick but no need now!! Very nicely made and just an awesome deal!! Super Impressed.
