Answer: The transparent tray material of Elechomes Food Dehydrator is AS plastic, which is food-grade and BPA FREE.
Q:
Will drying herbs work with these trays or do I need an accessory to prevent herbs from falling inside the trays?
Answer: Our Elechomes Food Dehydrator Machine can be used to dry herbs. This product contains a Mesh Screen for baking herbs to prevent smaller herbs from falling off the tray.

Answer: The dehydrator that I purchased was 120v I live in the USA where electrical power is 120v Amazon may sale the same model that uses a 220v power source.
Answer: No, operating power should be 110v. Regular household voltage.
Answer: I am in the US. The power is 110.
Answer: It is 120V.
Answer: Mine is 110v.
Answer: It is 120V.
Q:
Has anyone tried to use this to dry shiitake mushrooms?
Answer: Works great for mushrooms. I dry and powder some mushrooms and so far no issues .
Q:
Can you use less trays for drying small amounts?
Answer: Yes. I use the amount of trays needed although it suggests having two empty trays with the fruit leather tray inside the very top tray with lid cover on top for best results. But I don’t see why it wouldn’t work out if the extra trays were not available to use.
Answer: Yes! The system is completely modular.
Answer: Yes, you can.
Answer: Yes, you can.
Answer: Yes, I do.
Q:
Do you have to precook chicken prior to dehydration
Answer: No if you are making chicken jerky BUT if dehydrating to use as a regular meat yes. I put my chicken with the desired seasonings in a crock pot overnight, shred it in the morning and then dehydrate it.
Answer: We recommend cooking the chicken first.
Answer: I recommend precooking just because all the recipes i follow call for it unles you are making treats for your dog. Chicken jerky dog treats don’t need precooked. Hope this helps
Answer: I would say always cook your poultry before drying, even if your just chemical cooking it, it's advised because the heat from the dehydrator is not enough to kill of harmful bacteria.
Q:
What kind of plastic is the base? is it also bpa free?
Answer: I believe so
Q:
First time use, dehydrator has a smell like machine oil burning off. Running it empty per instructions, 5 hours. How long until that smell goes away?
Answer: Run the machine for a few days and the smell will disappear.
Answer: Mine did not have a smell like machine burning oil off. It smelled like the citrus I was dehydrating
Q:
Does anybody else notice a clicking noise every few seconds while the machine is running?
Answer: Yes, I've heard it before but haven't noticed any issues.
Answer: no
Q:
I plan to start soaking my nuts and dehydrating them to keep them raw. Will these work on them?
Answer: This machine can dehydrate very well, but nuts contain less water, maybe you can try.
Q:
I’ve never received the 69.$ dehydrater that I ordered on September 4.
Q:
Some items require hours to dry, is the machine can be pause and continue later? for those more than hour, Does the machine consume electricity?
Answer: Yes. I have done that many times. I have often times ran it a full 24 hours to achieve a crunchy texture using banana rounds as well as apple slices. I put it on the highest heat setting which I believe is 158 and then set it for 24 hours and let it go. Then after it’s done I take off the two top empty trays and let them dry and cool off more. I check them once in a while to see if they are crunchy before putting them in storage bags.
Answer: You can set the timer to go off whenever you want or just turn it off. Of course drying stops. Then no power is consumed.
Answer: Yes, you can set the timing function.
Q:
How long is the dehydration process and what is the shelf life?
Answer: The dehydration time varies according to the degree of ripening, thickness and number of fruits. The general baking time is 5-22 hours. The shelf life of food varies according to the type of food, the degree of dehydration and the storage environment, and the shelf life of properly stored food can be up to one year. Please refer to the instructionfor details.

Can you dehydrate salmon with good results?

Answer: I have not done that yet, I can say this one takes a week to dry onions, and for oranges and lemon it takes 2 weeks it that helps, its very slow
Q:

Q:
How many watts does this unit have? Thank you!
Answer: Kindly be advised that the power of our Elechomes Food Dehydrator Machine is 400W.
Q:
Can it be used outside in cold weather's
Answer: Sure but it depends on how cold. The colder it is the less the temp will be in the trays. It’s all about heat transfer, to the food or to the environment outside.
Answer: Yes, it can.
Q:
One of my trays came broken in the box, how can I get this replaced?
Answer: It comes with a tray that has no holes in it
Q:
Is there a setting that allows fruit to dry more crunchy (think banana chips) rather than chewy?
Answer: I've found if you simply leave them in longer, they will be crunchier. The really crunchy banana chips I've had are processed with oil and fried or baked - which is what gives them the chip-crunch.
Answer: I have made banana chips on several occasions and have had to adjust time/setting each time. Although cutting the banana as thin as possible helps. Also lengthening drying time.
Answer: One setting. Letting it go longer and rearranging fruit and trays would likely crisp them.
Answer: Kindly note that you can increase the temperature or extend the dehydration time.
Q:
Can you turn off heater?
Answer: No, you can precisely set the temperature between 95°F- 158°F
Answer: No - however its lowest temperature is 95 degrees Fahrenheit if that helps.
Q:
Where can i buy extra plastic tray liners? Kinda weird it only came with 1 of each.
Answer: Look on Amazon,, they carry them
Q:
does anyone know where I can buy another fruit roll tray? This one is 10”. All the round one’s I see for sale are 12-14”.
Answer: I would love to know also!!
Q:
Where can I buy mesh screen for small fruits, and fruit roll up tray to make larger quantity? No one sells them under 12 inches, this is 10 in.
Answer: I haven't been able to buy extra mesh screens or fruit roll up trays so far. I contacted the distributer who said they are looking into this. Contact the seller and tell them you also would like extra screens and trays. I bought some larger mesh screen and cut them down to do herb drying and small fruits, but can't find more fruit leather trays.
Answer: We are sorry that currently we do not have separate screens and trays for sale, but we have contacted the factory to produce them.
Answer: I contacted the seller directly. You can only buy from amazon. (i tried to buy directly from them :/). What sucks is that Amazon only lets you get 1 fruit tray AND it comes with a mesh tray (which I don't want). Annoying.
Answer: You can buy the 12 inch screens and manually cut them smaller to make it fit.
Answer: I’m sorry. I wish I had an answer for you because I was trying to find the same items you are enquiring about with no success. I’ve decided that I’m just going to try putting a sheet of parchment down onto the solid tray that comes with the dehydrator.
Answer: Good luck. the only place I haven't reached out too is the actual company that makes it.
Answer: Hi, i had the same issue
Q:
Do you sell extra fruit roll and mesh sheets to fit this model? 10.2 inches
Answer: they do, but not by piece. in other words, if you want 2+ fruit sheets, you can only get 1 & it comes with a mesh. got a confirmation from the company directly stating that you can't buy from them and that my options are whatever is available on Amazon
Answer: no they dont. got a confirmation from the company directly stating that they don't and that my options are whatever is available on Amazon
Answer: Yes they do

Answer: This would be great for DEHYDRATING foods for backpacking. Freeze drying is a different process (using extremely expensive equipment); both extend the shelf life of foods & of course make them more compact.
Answer: Yes, the dehydrator is so great . I used it to dry fruits , veggies and venison. Good price and good price. I used it a lot in the fall because I harvested apples, cantaloupes, squashes in the fall. We hunted dears this year. The venison jerky is tasty.
Answer: This is not a freeze dyer its a dehydrator. But I use it for dehydrating my food for back packing and prepper storage. I dehydrate, Lasagna, spaghetti, hamburger, onions, canned chicken and so much more for back packing.
Answer: yes. i have used this for a few months now and love it. ive ben doing fruit, veggie, and turkey jerkey.

Q:
Can i make chicken jerky?
Answer: I have made some venison jerky as a test, it worked out really well. This is a great dehydrator, I wasn't so sure at first when I couldn't find extra herb screens and fruit leather trays due to it's smaller size, but the company went out of their way to locate those for me, at no extra cost. The dehydrator works really well, both the temperature and time settings being so adjustable allowed me to dehydrate my herbs (low temp) and fruit leather, jerky, and dried fruits at higher temps. I really do recommend this.
Answer: absolutely!
Answer: Yes thin slices and season it ????
Answer: Yes
Q:
For model UH0401 what is the inside depth of the trays?

Product reviews of Food Dehydrator, Elechomes 6-Tray Dryer for Beef Jerky Meat Fruit Dog Treats Herbs Vegetable Digital Time & Temperature Control Overheat Protection Fruit Roll Sheet Included BPA Free
rick liuag : DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
The dehydrator stopped working 5 months after purchasing it and the seller did not stand behind the product. Amazon washed their hands of the transaction, so I bought a dehydrator that worked for 5 months. Buyer beware of both the product and the seller!
Marcie : Worked.... for a month.
I have had this for about a month. Using it weekly for fruit leather. I loved it. Until in the middle of a 6 tray batch the motor died. Have not heard back on any repairs or replacements. Super sad it didn’t work forever. Not worth the money if it’s just going to die in a month.
Kehle : Easy to use and to store
I bought this specifically for dehydrating elderberries. I had to order additional plastic mesh for the extra trays, since small items fall right through the holes in the trays. All in all, it is a lovely dehydrator and works well. It does take a while to dry items out and through trial and error, we are finding what is worth our time to dehydrate. Currently we are big fans of apples, kiwis and it held up through a full week + of drying out elderberries.
Andrew : Works great, blueberries take a while
Great dehydrator, have done mushrooms, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and a few other fruits. Works great, Blueberries took a long time but in it's defense I didn't look at time or temp recommendations and just kinda winded it w the blueberries so I put that one on me. Other than that works great and it was a good price for all the features and temp control.
Eddie : Food particles on the inside when shipped.
The item is too small, with many scratches on it and food particles were found on the inside. This is disgusting!
6142603571 : The tray literally melted??
You would imagine that the trays would be heat resistant to it’s own device but apparently that wasn’t the case. SMH
QuelFace : Returning.
I didn't even turn it on. I took it out of the box and was disappointed in the durability of the trays. This looks fancy and nice but first warning in the manual is don't bang trays against each other. When I pulled the plastic off a plastic part of the tray tinkled to the counter. Soo.... The trays seem to break easy. Sending back to get a more well known brand that can stand the test of time.
I also don't like that the trays don't seal air tight. Air will come out from every nook and cranny in this machine. I don't particularly want 130 degrees pouring into my house for 8-10 hours while this dries.
Book Reader : Great product
I went back and forth about whether to buy another appliance but caved and so happy I did. I've used my dehydrator a few times (and using again tonight:) and having fun making different "chips". It's easy to use (there's a manual, but pretty easy to figure out), easy to clean (I hand wash just in case). I like that it's clear, that I can see what's happening. I don't consider it to be noise (a quiet fan). Plus, it's not heavy and easy to move. I watched some YouTube videos to get some ideas and off I went. I'm very pleased with my new toy:)
Duane B. : Temperature range is 95 to 158 degrees F.
We got this to make jerky as well as dehydrate fruits and veggies. You need to cook jerky to 160 F. so this falls short by a couple of degrees. It is very quiet during operation. Well probably end donating this one to Goodwill and getting one with a higher temperature range.
mabg : Horrible
This would be the fourth dehydrator I have purchased all others worked as you would imagine this one it’s made with the material that is inappropriate for drying
Apple slices placed under the cheap plastic ratings stuck to them like low as they were dry making usage and cleaning a nightmare
Joy in taking care of home : Quality product
This dehydrator works very well. Semi quiet running. Trays are easy to clean. Settings are efficient whether you are a beginner or experienced. I've found the lower setting to be efficient. I was skeptical being a beginner and not knowing which brand to invest in but this one worked well. I made green powder for smoothies, lemons, limes and working on strawberries. I purchased my dehydrator and began using it the next day. I've run it several cycles of 6-8 hours and sometimes more with no difficulties in the motor or efficiency. Be sure to place your dehydrator in a cool dry place and remove excess moisture from food before dehydrating. That way you take care in not over working the motor.
Dave B : Pretty good for the price
Overall pretty good machine. My only two complaints are that the temperature controls are oddly configured. The adjustments are made in +/- 9 degrees which is very bizarre in my opinion. It would be nice to have more precise control over the temp. For example you can set 131 degrees or 140 degrees, but nothing in between. Not a big deal, but a strange choice to be sure. The plastic trays claim to be dishwasher safe (and maybe they are), but I don't trust most plastic in the dishwasher so I still clean them by hand.
I've used the machine about a dozen times now with good results. My favorite are banana chips which this machine can fit about 12-14 bananas, at once, when using all of the trays.
Julie : Excellent Dehydrator
This Dehydrator works perfectly. I bought it to make Beef Jerky. It makes great tasting Jerky in about half the time of other dehydrators. Definitely worth every penny. Love it
chris : Worked great while it lasted
Worked great for 6 months then he element went had to throw it away sure I would of had to deal with a lot of BS to get it fixed according to the other reviews
Special Bell : So far so good.
I attempted dehydrating in the oven which worked for the most part, but wanted something more convenient. Glad I spent the extra money for this one. Got the color & design I wanted. Automatic shut off. And it has an area to store the cord. It comes with a reference guide/recipes so you know how to prep and what temperature to use and such. It’s definitely not quiet. It sounds like a fan to me, but I don’t mind it at all. I’m excited to see how my fruit turns out. I started with oranges. Some with the peel and some without. I will update once they’re finished.
d. tan : work with patience, but that's the way it's supposed to be.
You can set both the time (default 8 hours) and the temperature (default 95F). The instruction manual has a table with suggested setting for various food types. However, at the end, it still will take a lot of trial and error to get the effect you want. Just need to be patient. You'll eventually get it perfect!
RebRand : OMG! Fresh Onion, Garlic, Celery Powder - Sage, Parsley, Thyme, and Tarragon! What a Difference!
I liked this so well - I bought a second one! I've been drying home grown CELERY leaves for Celery Salt and Powder, WALLA WALLA Onions for Onion Powder, Onion rings - broken up and Onion Salt. I also had a blast growing celery for the first time and the leaves are way more fragrant than the stalks. (Be sure to wash thoroughly as the bugs (don't want to go in the dehydrator! Pick the herbs early in the morning and soak them for a few minutes in a LARGE bowl with a bit of cider or wine vinegar to kill any hiding critters. Shake off moisture and onto the drying racks! Go to an online website to learn how to process using a dehydrator and you will LOVE LOVE LOVE doing this for BETTER tasting herbs without preservatives. I also dehydrated fresh potatoes (blanched first for 3 minutes), as well as frozen bags of potatoes and mixed veggies which do NOT have to be blanched. Also on the list -- fresh green peppers, diced tomatoes, and fresh GARLIC (which I placed the dehydrator on the back porch) as it is very pungent. Everything else has been perfect to do in the house. I also bought one for each of my daughter who has also expressed how much fun they are having and especially getting the grandchildren happy to help pick fresh produce and herbs from the garden. Amazingly the kids are having as much fun helping prepare the trays full of good stuff! Zucchini chips (lightly seasoned) were a hit for kids that rarely eat "green stuff". They are also experimenting with dried fruit and beef jerky. Just a note - I also purchased a few extra NESCO dehydrator trays and cut them down to fit my trays which work GREAT to keep smaller herbs from falling through (and the diced tomatoes!) Tomato powder is as effective as tomato PASTE to thicken tomato based soups, spaghetti sauce/gravy and stews. (After prepping my tomatoes for canning, I saved the skins and dehydrated them to powder. Thanks for the suggestion! It makes a great flavorful thickener!)
Rachel Neeld : Great
First time ever dehydrating or owning a dehydrator. Very easy to use. I was looking for something to use as a beginner, that didn't take up a lot of space and I could preserve harvest from my small garden. So far I've used it for pepper and cherry tomatoes. Love how easy it is to set up and start. The only odd this is the temp setting they are in odd increments. I want it at 120 degree and it has 121. Just a weird quirk. I'd buy it again.
Mark : It works like it should, as quiet as any I've heard
The unit is compact, not quite as large in diameter as I had thought it was.
The unit has preset temperatures (9 degree increments), you can not set a specific temperature.
Across the range of preset temperatures it consistently is 4 degrees lower than the set point. This really isn't an issue, as most recommended temperatures for dehydrating fruits and vegetables fall in the middle of the presets.
Clean up is easy.
We're enjoying the dehydrator, and have done a range of fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms.
G. Brown : Solid
This is a good unit overall. Dries evenly, smoothly, and efficiency. Lots of good settings for control of time and heat.
Main reason for 2 stars: getting more accessories (fruit leather trays) is quite hard. Company sells a pack of one tray and one herb tray for like $18. Yikes. These are not standard Nesco size trays (they are 10" in diameter -- a bit smaller than anything else on the market) so the trays made for the Nesco or Nesco-like will not work. Nobody makes a 10" diameter accessory.
If your primary purpose is fruit leather look elsewhere.
Sam : Ease to use
A bit hard put the liners together but it heats up much faster than my previous one and has a timer which my other one did not. Also I can control the temp instead of using a ventilation system.
hawkofdiscord : Doesn't heat up to cook meat safely
Bought this product to make jerky only to find out it doesn't go up to 165 degrees the highest it can go is 158 that's not high enough to kill bacteria
Kevin Smith : Better than Trader Joe’s dried fruit!
We’ve have tried to dry just about everything imaginable since we’ve had this. Some huge hits, some big flops but the process was really fun! All in all, great investment & has saved us a lot of money buying the pre-dried fruit from Trader Joe’s. So far the dried apples & pineapple are our faves!!
Going to try some meats next...
Amazon Customer : Perfect for herbs. Very quiet
Works pretty well for herbs. I put some large basil and mint leaves in it. Takes about 20 hours to dry at 104 degrees but I had 4 trays full of herbs. Smaller herbs take about 10 hours on 95 degrees. It is surprisingly quiet. After reading reviews on other dehydrator I was prepared for this one to be loud but it just sounds like a small fan. I haven't tried it on veggies or fruit yet but will update here when I do! Overall I recommend it if you have a small garden and want to preserve some of the stuff you grow!
D. Rad : Not super fast, but ok
The drying process is a bit long, but it does work. Works better in the winter, I guess less humidity helps. machine is durable, I dropped it the other day and not a chip or ding. thats a plus. My daughters live using it, so overall a good purchase, price was good so worth it.
Jason : Solid little dehydrator
Gives you set increments for temp and you can only set the time to the half hour but neither of those are a big deal. Made jerky the day I got it delivered and it came out beautiful in only 5 hours. So this thing gets the job done. If you are planning to a LOT of dehydrating maybe consider a higher end model for more control on time and temp but for your casual user this unit does just fine
Jane : Follow instructions, works great
The instructions are clear, it works fine. I haven't had any issues with it. I did find onions take longer than suggested. Do not recommend adding more layers than what it comes with.

Clean up is easy.
We're enjoying the dehydrator, and have done a range of fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms.
Orly : Absolutely love it
I was so hesitant before buying. Cause I can dry food and fruit in the oven too, why buying it.
But after trying this, I’m sooo happy with this purchase. Very easy to use, save me a lot of time before it took me 6-7 hours to make 2lbs of beef jerky but now just after 4 hours, it dry enough, even a bit crunchy and not accidentally getting burn like the oven. First product I give 5 stars without questioning.
rick liuag : DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
The dehydrator stopped working 5 months after purchasing it and the seller did not stand behind the product. Amazon washed their hands of the transaction, so I bought a dehydrator that worked for 5 months. Buyer beware of both the product and the seller!
Bobwayland : Great dehydrator, Great company
I ordered this as my very first dehydrator because my veggie garden is really producing and I want to try drying things this year. Used the unit to dry chili peppers, tomatoes, and spices, and it does a great job drying them to the level you need. I even did some jerky and dog treats at the higher temps, and it came out fantastic.
Then my unit broke. It would not warm up, just blew room temp air. Not acceptable, obviously. I contacted the company Elechomes through Amazon. They got back to me promptly and offered a new unit after I sent in the damaged one. I asked if we could do anything faster, as I had produce that needed to be dried or it would go bad. Elechomes graciously agreed to send me a new unit immediately and process the return later. Got the new unit in 3 days and was back up and preserving!
I think you can tell a lot about a company when there's a problem. The unit broke - not good, but the company went the extra mile to make me a happy camper. Highly recommend these folks. Highly recommend the unit, it does a nice job with all the trays and temperature options.
mabg : Horrible
This would be the fourth dehydrator I have purchased all others worked as you would imagine this one it’s made with the material that is inappropriate for drying
Apple slices placed under the cheap plastic ratings stuck to them like low as they were dry making usage and cleaning a nightmare
SJ and SF : Great First Dehydrator
I had always laughed at the wannabe homesteaders who bragged about dehydrating their garden's extra produce. It seemed like a lot of work for a less tasty reward.
And then we started getting gifts of fresh produce from our neighbors, way more than we could eat before it goes bad.
So, why not try?
I'm glad we did. I have a big sweet tooth, but even to my candy-preferring tastes, dried kiwi and apple slices taste like fruit roll up and tasty bites, respectively.
The fan is audible, but barely so, from the kitchen to other rooms. It's not audible behind closed bedroom doors, even a little.
It sets times by the half hour, and goes from 95F to 158F in 9-degree increments.
It dries thoroughly, with no tray rotation needed.
After a batch of onions, I dry a batch of potatoes next, which eradicates any lingering smells.
And, the best part -- yes, the plastic trays hold up in our dishwasher's top rack. So far, they've run through three times with no evidence of warping or breakage.
Mamalight : So far, so good --
The delivery was planned for one day, and then it was delayed for some reason. Otherwise, the product seems to be good. I've used it one time so far, and it worked well. I'm exploring additional items to dehydrate, so I look forward to using it more in the near future.
Kisrten Parsons : Waste of money
Very noisy and had to rearrange tray order and fruit on trays for even drying. Small apricots took 48 hours
C. Bianco : Elechomes Dehydrator
I downsized from having a large square dehydrator to this Elechomes dehydrator. I cannot tell you how nice it is... quieter, adjustable, easier to clean, and sized to fit perfectly in the kitchen (comparable to the size of an 6qt Instapot when all tray are in use). You won't be disappointed if you purchase this dehydrator!
MCG : Good to research before purchasing a dehydrator
I think this product is easy enough to use, but I did not anticipate how time-consuming prepping the types of food I wanted to dehydrate would be. Nor, did I realize how long dehydration times would be for such a low yield of finished product. My lifestyle isn't such that I can spend the amount of time needed to prep food for dehydration + the length of time the unit needs to run using electricity and constant background noise. It took about 18 hours to dehydrate 2 oranges and the yield wasn't worth the aggravation.
The unit is nice enough, and I didn't have any issues, but not a good fit for our home so I returned it.
Jess : User error
I cannot figure out how to use this thing. I left fruit in there for 3 days and nothing really happened. I’m sure I don’t know what I’m doing and the product is actually just fine. Probably should only buy this if you know what you’re doing already or your willing to take some time to learn how to use, neither of which describe me!
christina deutsch : Not worth the cost
I haven't had success with this product. I ordered one, and after 2 months, it wouldn't turn on. I got a replacement and now 4 months later, the fan won't turn on. I had better success with cheaper models
Stacey DODD : Exploded on first use!
The instruction booklet was not ideal to navigate.
I set it on the lowest degree possible in a well ventilated area and after about 1 minute, it made a large bang sound and flash and stopped working.
Awful smell first time use that lasted less than 2 minutes.
Waste of money.
RV traveler : Bad experiences with this dehydrator!!!!
VERY much appreciated getting a replacement one after my first one quit while using!! Fingers crossed the 1st one was a "fluke" as I really love and frequently use my dehydrator!!!
Update....2nd time I used replacement one....it quit 30 minutes into 19 hour chicken dehydrating...exactly like 1st one. I'm done! Tossed in trash and had to borrow neighbors dehydrator in order to finish all the chicken!!!!!

Janey : I wanted to like it, but...
I wanted to be able to dehydrate foods as I cannot do preservatives and wanted an emergency food storage. I researched a lot of dehydrators before choosing this one. I followed the directions exactly for dehydrating fruit. It stated that the fruit type I was doing should dry in about 8 hours. It took over 24 hours and was nowhere near done. I trouble shot and made sure that my fruit was not sliced too thick. I even gave it a try following online recipes to see if other people had better suggestions than the manufacture-- still did not dry. The product does not match the descripted usage times and makes it not worth it. In order to even dry a minimal amount of food, I would have to run this 24/7 for weeks.
Gaila T. : Not that impressed
I love how quiet this is, how ever this machine can take at least 3 times longer to dehydrate ????
Amazon Customer : Less than 1 year in, woke up to see the coils glowing orange...
Plastic trays burned my hands to lift off of the dehydrator. Lemon slices smelled burnt, I had to throw them all out. I used the same settings I had been using for a year.
Trying to find warranty info on Elechomes website, but site is inaccessible/down, and I'm almost at my 1 year mark. Was great while it lasted. Until the temperature control when to crap and the coils hit a dangerously hot level.
Edit... Feb 27th...So it turns out that the temperature regulator is just shot. It blows room temp air and that's it.
However, I contacted elechomes directly and explained the issue. They sent me a new one, free of charge, and so far it is working great! I also received timely replies as well.
Changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars for excellent customer service. I'd do 4.5 if I could, I'm still knocking some off for the fact that it pooped out after less than a year of moderate use.
