Worked great for weighing my newborn lambs. I put them in a sling and hung them from the hook. Good product. Seemed like the weights were accurate. Easy to use and worked well in the cold.

My grandson is an avid fisherman and we wat to know what things really weigh. So I bought this to put in his tackle box and he uses it all the time. The other night he has a 2.1 lb. bass and he weighed a .6 sunfish. The adults in the boat were impressed.

I did NOT buy this to weigh fish. I don't even go fishing. But for everything else, this scale is amazing.

I primarily use it in two situations:
- Weigh luggage before heading to the airport
- Weight propane tanks to know how much fuel is left inside

For both these use cases, this scale works really well. It's simple to operate and accurate. The ONLY thing to keep in mind is that you have to pick up the item being weighted off the ground with this in your hand... and for tall, heavy luggage I found attaching this to the top and then lifting it up to be a challenge. The luggage is already a few feet off the ground... this makes the handle even higher, and now you have to pick up the luggage with one hand from a high, awkward angle. You probably want to stand on a stool for this. This isn't the product's fault... just noting.

After reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and test this out. I tested the weight of it on a heavy work boot that I knew we 1.6lbs, it weighed it at exactly 1.6lbs. The only thing that was slightly annoying but not a huge issue is the measuring tape doesn’t like to go back just right. But really wasn’t a massive issue for me. It was defiantly still worth it.

I purchased the digital scale for a variety of applications and specifically for measuring /verifying rotation torque on an engine project I was working on. I found all the digital scales at my local farm supply store were sold out and the Amazon source arrived in three days. Operation of the scale appeared consistent within a few ounces. I did not verify accuracy and will eventually do that. I’ll also update the post (if I can) if I find longer term operation is an issue. This is my biggest concern, that it will fail after a few months of use. Like many products these days, there is no useful manual and it’s not clear how the “hold” feature is supposed to work. I expect it would capture the highest value but I Don the think that’s what is happening.

Great product! But it does not come with batteries. I saw that a lot of reviews and stuff said IT CAME WITH BATTERIES!!! YESS!!! Well I can tell you that I did not get batteries! It might have been a mistake, but I got no batteries. I do love It though, it is very good and I love that it has the measuring tape included. Other than the batteries, it is GREAT!

Scale works as advertised. However, it does not have an open to weigh in lbs with oz. For example there's no option that would show 3lb 8oz. It only will show 3.5lbs. you can have it show oz then do the math but I would like it if it showed the combo.

I hung it in the barn, hung a basket from it, tared it -and use it to weigh chickens. Its as accurate as the veterinarians scales. Also weighs the cat who just likes to sit in the basket ;)
