Answer: Convenient tool like many others out there. The measuring tape is really flimsy. The recoil spring is weak so I almost have to help it recoil. I didnt purchase for use of the feature though.

Answer: There is an email address on the warranty card to contact customer service.

would this be a decent option to weight my smaller propane tanks?

Answer: Yes-- just need to be creative about a way to hang them. I use a velcro strap that's for PT and can petty much weigh anything

can you turn off the data lock?

Does this really not work in temps below 50 degrees F?

Answer: I use mine for weighing lambs. It has worked with temps in the low 30s. Usually I take it inside if it's colder than that

Great little scale. The first one was doa but Amazon had a replacement out to me super fast and it works great, comfortable in the hand when weighing heavy items (heavy fish hopefully!). My bathroom scale with 1/10 lb accuracy corroborates reading exactly when weighing a heavy suitcase

This is portable, durable and seems to be accurate. Bigger fish are fighting to get weighed on this scale. This scale feels solid and well made. I bought a smaller, and cheaper one that was awful and broke twice. We will see how it holds up over time. I carry it in my back pack which gets tossed about quite a bit but so far so good.

If I could do more than 5 stars I would, upon receiving this myself and my young son's had a fishing trip planned for the next day, it came in earlier than expected, and I got to capture my oldest son reeling in his first 20+ trout from a river, measured 22.25 inches and weighed 3.85lbs best father's day gift I have ever received.

Worked great for weighing my newborn lambs. I put them in a sling and hung them from the hook. Good product. Seemed like the weights were accurate. Easy to use and worked well in the cold.

Just got my scale and put it in the boat a few weeks ago. Never tested it or turned it on. Went fishing and the LED LIGHT CAME ON but no digital read out. The tape measure rusted as well to where it will not go back into the opening. A little discouraged to say the least

I bought this scale to weigh bicycles with different components on them. For that it works great, mainly because the strap allows you to pick the bike up safely without scratching it.

Scale seems accurate, and it’s allowed me to tell how much things like different wheels and tires are impacting the weights of my bikes.

Great scale, easy to use, but the tape measure is junk. Very difficult to even pull it out, 3rd time the end piece broke off and the tape went inside. When I get time I'll take it apart and Add a pull tab but shouldn't have to do that, just remove the tape and have a great scale.

UPDATE:. a new scale showed up yesterday, I didn't contact them but maybe this review was seen, new tape seems to work better than the last, so I'll change my review to 5 stars since they have amazing customer service.

Great product! But it does not come with batteries. I saw that a lot of reviews and stuff said IT CAME WITH BATTERIES!!! YESS!!! Well I can tell you that I did not get batteries! It might have been a mistake, but I got no batteries. I do love It though, it is very good and I love that it has the measuring tape included. Other than the batteries, it is GREAT!
