Answer: Convenient tool like many others out there. The measuring tape is really flimsy. The recoil spring is weak so I almost have to help it recoil. I didnt purchase for use of the feature though.

Answer: There is an email address on the warranty card to contact customer service.

would this be a decent option to weight my smaller propane tanks?

Answer: Yes-- just need to be creative about a way to hang them. I use a velcro strap that's for PT and can petty much weigh anything

can you turn off the data lock?

Does this really not work in temps below 50 degrees F?

Answer: I use mine for weighing lambs. It has worked with temps in the low 30s. Usually I take it inside if it's colder than that

Awesome scale very accurate I've had it for over a year now and I've weighed 3 lb bass to 20 lb king salmons and channel catfish extremely accurate I've gotten it wet left it in the snow and blazing heat never had any problems definitely worth the money

Great idea but it didn't last long. I have had this on my boat for about a month and the LCD screen is now impossible to read in the sun. I changed the batteries but that didn't fix it. Next time I am just going to spend the extra money for something better.

After reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and test this out. I tested the weight of it on a heavy work boot that I knew we 1.6lbs, it weighed it at exactly 1.6lbs. The only thing that was slightly annoying but not a huge issue is the measuring tape doesn’t like to go back just right. But really wasn’t a massive issue for me. It was defiantly still worth it.

You literally have to hold your heavy luggage for a solid 10 seconds and don’t move an inch for it to lock in on a good reading. Carrying a 70lb bag is not that easy.

This is portable, durable and seems to be accurate. Bigger fish are fighting to get weighed on this scale. This scale feels solid and well made. I bought a smaller, and cheaper one that was awful and broke twice. We will see how it holds up over time. I carry it in my back pack which gets tossed about quite a bit but so far so good.

We had a big fishing trip coming up and needed a new scale and I can say this worked perfectly. It is so easy to read, great at hooking to the fish, and was extremely accurate (we tested against another scale we had). My son, who is 9, absolutely loved it too because it even had good weights for lots of the smaller fish he caught and it was so easy for him to use. I would definitely recommend.

This scale is an overall good scale it serves its purpose BUT one thing I wish it was is waterproof, it accidentally fell into some water and it worked for a week and then gave out so just a warning do not get this product even the slightest wet or it won’t work eventually.

So far I use this to weigh bike and bike parts. Easy to use. Good quality. Accurate at over 20 lbs but also at less than a lb. The strap works fine but falls off easily so could have a better design.

I bought this scale to weigh bicycles with different components on them. For that it works great, mainly because the strap allows you to pick the bike up safely without scratching it.

Scale seems accurate, and it’s allowed me to tell how much things like different wheels and tires are impacting the weights of my bikes.
