Answer: Convenient tool like many others out there. The measuring tape is really flimsy. The recoil spring is weak so I almost have to help it recoil. I didnt purchase for use of the feature though.

Answer: There is an email address on the warranty card to contact customer service.

would this be a decent option to weight my smaller propane tanks?

Answer: Yes-- just need to be creative about a way to hang them. I use a velcro strap that's for PT and can petty much weigh anything

can you turn off the data lock?

Does this really not work in temps below 50 degrees F?

Answer: I use mine for weighing lambs. It has worked with temps in the low 30s. Usually I take it inside if it's colder than that

Scale works as advertised. However, it does not have an open to weigh in lbs with oz. For example there's no option that would show 3lb 8oz. It only will show 3.5lbs. you can have it show oz then do the math but I would like it if it showed the combo.

Doesn't read accurately. Recived today and tested on 3 different weights and it weighed a 5lb weight at 5.27 lbs, and a 15lb weight at 27 lbs. Tried new batteries with same result.

I bought this scale to weigh bicycles with different components on them. For that it works great, mainly because the strap allows you to pick the bike up safely without scratching it.

Scale seems accurate, and it’s allowed me to tell how much things like different wheels and tires are impacting the weights of my bikes.

Scale is off by 11 ounces on the plus side. I weighed a few things weighing 16 ounces and it kept reading 27 ounces. And the scale froze the second time I used it. I had to remove batteries and put them back in to get it to go off. Wouldn’t recommend. You get what you pay for I guess.

Just got my scale and put it in the boat a few weeks ago. Never tested it or turned it on. Went fishing and the LED LIGHT CAME ON but no digital read out. The tape measure rusted as well to where it will not go back into the opening. A little discouraged to say the least

Seemed like a good product. Never actually used it, but after a few months it simply stopped working (nothing visible on the screen). Batteries read full charge. No evidence of corrosion on battery terminals. Tried changing batteries. Nothing. Completely dead.

I have not had a chance to test the scale on a fish yet but am impressed with the appearance and functionality of the unit. The strap provided to use for weighing luggage is a nice touch. The readout is nice and big, which is nice for those of us who have to wear bifocals.
