Well this thing was never what I would call accurate I guess you could get a general idea of the weight of the fish but definitely without a doubt nothing consistent. My other beef with this is that the paper diagram that stands behind the scale display arms is Exactly that, - paper. So when I was using this obviously while fishing around water it got wet and the paper got damaged and you can no longer read the inconsistent and accurate weight that it used to display.
