The products are made well but I haven’t had a chance to use it on a fish. The scale is a little bigger than I thought it was.
Will update later when I’ve put it to good use.

Good concept but definitely lacking in the field. The gripper’s spring is too strong and it takes a lot to open it. It is also very big. Def recommend for 20lb+ fish. The grip also is like teeth that clamp, which will hurt the fish’s jaw when weighing. Def do not recommend for bass fishing

We weighed a 5lb dumbbell. On this scale it weighed 4lbs. On two other scales it weighed 5.4 lbs. That is way off if you are weighing your catch! I gave it one star because accuracy is important.

Super lightweight and cheaply made. If the fish is under 6lbs it doesn't even register on the scale. Its literally useless to me.

Matthew Broussard : Pricey but does the job

Clip and spring seem very strong yet easy to engage. Spring is thick and cant imagine it weakening over time with proper care. Easily held up a 4 pound bass on my first trip out with it. Maybe an aluminum body would be more durable given the price of this thing, but we'll see how the plastic fares in the 120 degree heat index in Texas.
