SeaDek fish rulers offer a permanent and attractive alternative to stickers, tape measures, and other measuring devices. Offered in a 3mm thickness with a brushed texture, these rulers feature laser-etched numbers that will not fade or break down, and utilize peel-and-stick 3MTM pressure sensitive adhesive for easy installation. As well as providing traction underfoot, SeaDek fish rulers provide a non-skid surface for holding slippery fish in place for measurement. *Not to be used as a legal measuring device, application may cause distortion.

Will this adhere to carpet?

What is the length of this ruler

Answer: It measures 36 inches, so it's probably closer to 38 inches total. I'm not sure why people are saying the ruler is off, mine was dead on before and after install.

Answer: Maybe 21in or 24in. Its really off though its alot larger than your thinking i personally wouldnt buy one again. 1in really looks to be 2in. I cant say its accurate.

Answer: I don’t think it will, we used it on a smooth surface on the cooler in the boat.

Answer: I wouldn’t recommend it. Smooth and very clean surface gets the best results.

Answer: Hello. The fish ruler is 4" x 36", we do not have the measurements for the new Roadie 24 so we cannot confirm if it'll fit.

If needed, how can you remove this ruler once applied?

Answer: You may use a plastic putty knife and acetone to remove the excess glue. It will not cause any damage once removed.

Will it work on textured paint on aluminum boat

Answer: Yes, it will! Just as long as the paint is secured well to the surface the SeaDek will adhere just fine.

Answer: yes I have it on the bottom of my textured fiberglass floor. It is bigger than you think also. 36" long yes but maybe 5" wide FYI.

Answer: I don't know if this will help, it is really sticky, I put it on wood and metal with no problem. I am not sure about a Kayak but it is made to go on fiberglass boats.

I wish I had spent $15 more for the raised one with the black lettering. This will work and it was very simple to stick on the boat (DONT STRETCH IT WHILE INSTALLING). I did tha a little and it’s 1/4” long in the middle and 3/8” long at the end. The measuring marks are just heat stamped. It’s not laxer cut-outs like the $40 fish ruler.

Anyway, decent product, arrived on time. Packaged and shipped from SeaDek in FL. Came with a cool decal. Not sure if everyone gets one, but I liked it.

The material, color, and adhesive material are good. Biggest problem, this is a ruler to measure legal fish and the measurements aren’t even correct! I called the company and they said that the ruler should be used to give you an idea of the size.. ???? makes no sense....
