I no longer use these for that reason. There is no reason to have to struggle to get a proper seal.

Answer: The Foodsaver cardboard box they came in doesn't say, nor was there any paperwork with the bags. I checked all the different variety of bags and rolls I have on hand, and they all are "made in China" according to the packaging. Therefore I think it's a safe bet they are made there, too.

Are these actually re-usable?
Answer: Depeding on what I have put in them, I have reused them. Anything greasing or bloody (like meat) tends to not easily be cleaned so I just toss out. But for things like trail mixes, and dry goods I have resealed or reused quite a bit.
Answer: About a year ago they stopped printing reusable on the box. But we have used them up to 3 times. So I would say yes. But at your own risk which is pretty easy to tell when you seal them. And of course you should wash them thoroughly before you do.
Answer: Yes. If you thoroughly wash and dry them, the bags can be reused. I might reuse if I had prewrapped goods in one, or maybe bread, but never if meat has been stored in one.

I am not satisfied with the different sizes i recieved upon different orders. My previous order, i recieved the regular quart sized bags but when i made my most recent purchase the bag was shorter in length. It makes it harder to bag up items because the vaccum sealer takes up at least 1 inch off the bag to seal.
I prefer the original longer quart sized bags. I hope the company will fix this problem.

I do not recommend these bags. I am use to the 1 quart bags from the green box from Foodsaver. I use them for my steaks and meats I prepare. This box, this brown box from Food saver are 1" shorter than the other 1 qt bags. You need that 1" to close the bags properly. This is not what I wanted when I purchased. I cry foul!! See attached photo. The bag on the bottom came from a 44 count box of 1 quart bags. The shorter 1 on top shows this is not the same.

These have come in very handy for vacuum sealing. They are useful for meal and meat preservation. There are a lot more pcs than can be found in regular mixed boxes of bags and rolls. I plan on getting more of these as the holidays grow closer. Come in a plain brown box but are the Foodsaver Quart bags.

I agree with other reviewers. The last two boxes I ordered were 1 inch shorter than what I was used to getting. I have ordered these many times but not anymore till they go back to 11 inches long. When I bag shredded chicken then juices make it hard to seal properly. The older size was perfect for this problem. I will order from somewhere else in the future.
