The Frabill 3059 Sportsman Seamless Rubber Net features a 19" x 19" teardrop hoop and flat bottom for easy removal and fewer snags. The Rubber net expands naturally to fit the fish's size and weight. The knot-free surface means less injury to the fish. The patented Pow 'R Lok Yoke eliminates the search for the spring button and accidental over extension by automatically locking in place. The yoke is corrosion-resistant to hold up in both fresh and saltwater environments. The CAM-LOK handle changes the handle length instantly to suit your angling style with a twist of the wrist. To operate, loosen the CAM-LOK, extend the handle and re-tighten.

how do you replace the net, does the pole come apart if i take screws out of the top of net to get to the rubber net???

Answer: The way you’re replacing that are still take the screws out at the wire part of the net put the unit on and put screws back in. There should be a video are YouTube showing how to replace Annett

I don't know too much about these types of nets, but bought one on the recommend of a friend for my husbands birthday.

To say he was excited is an understatement. As for quality after using it for a while - he still seems quite happy!

Handle and net were great only bad part was the weak and badly designed hoop it broke at the handle mounting spot on the first trip while lifting a 3lb bass out of the water. when requested a replacement hoop found it only had a 30 day warranty from date of order. Crummy warranty if u ask me especially for a frab il product. Frab il Web site to get replacement parts is a joke! phone site is a run around with no results.

Love this net. Used it on a long weekend at Moosehead Lake landing salmon and brook trout. I stopped using the nylon nets because the hook and tangle issues that go along with them. I was skeptical even though I’ve heard great things about rubber nets. No stuck hooks or tangles when the fish twists. This net was large enough for the bigger lake trout as well. The telescoping handle was awesome and helpful. This net absolutely helped releasing the fish without hurting them.

Well I have used this net since March of this year. I originally thought it was better than sliced bread. The net worked flawlessly with the extend function, easy extend, lock and retract. Now 3 months later it does not wok as smoothly as before. It is not bent or any debris between the handle tubes. I have tried silicone and it still doesn't work as it did when it was new. Keep in mind I have only been using this for a few months.

Good for Largemouth and Smallmouth bass fishing, hooks do not snag the rubber net. Long enough to scoop the fish and can even extend for boats.

I bought this after being frustrated with my old wire net tangling. I put this to use on my fishing kayak. Size is perfect- fits great in my rod holder and it extends if you need it to. I landed a trout with a spoon recently. When it started to flop around, the treble hook started getting tangled in the net, which would normally be an absolute nightmare. I was able to get it untangled in a matter of seconds! Well worth upgrading to a rubber net. I also noticed net marks on fish from my previous wire net. Not so with this net. The rubber mesh has flexibility and is so much bigger in diameter and gentler on the fish. If you practice catch and release, this is a must have.
