How do these compare to Lucky Craft lures?

Answer: It is said here that surf fishing on the California coast that Daiwa minnow catch Strippers and Lucky Craft lures catch Surf Perch. I have caught several perch with the Daiwa but no strippers and two under sized strippers with the Lucky Craft but no perch. I’d say six of one and a half a dozen of the other. You never know what your going to catch on the central coast so use them both.

What kind of line do you recommend to use with this?

Answer: I usually use 30# fluorocarbon for my leader or 50# to be safe.

Answer: 5 inch its total wide and 3 inch tall

The absolute best lure for Stripers in the surf. Caught two today on a grayish silver model...Love the floating one cause it doesn't hang on the bottom catching seaweed. Also I can dangle it longer in the strike zone where the waves are breaking. LOVE THIS LURE !

Amazing lure! Caught 2 bluefish within 20mins. Bunker color imo is good! The stock rings and treble hook are okay, but do recommend to change the rings and hooks during every 2 seasons
