Answer: Yes, i use them for steelhead and salmon. Hook about 0.83inch

Answer: No the hooks are really strong I've used them a lot caught some big fish and haven't had any problems.

Answer: No. We have used them on trout, steelhead, cod and rock fish with no problems

This spinner is great for most species. It runs straight, has a great flashy action from the blade, and most importantly catches fish. The only issue I had was that it was heavier than I expected. Instead of fishing it on an ultralight setup, I suggest using a light setup instead. Other than that, it's a great lure to fish in all conditions.
