I troll these for stripers in local Hampton Roads rivers under bridge structure and slay the schoolie bass. I have other colors but the silver and black is the favorite, not even close. Great lures.

This lure is not weighed correctly to be cast long distances. It helicopters in the air. I'm using a 9'2'' shore jigging rod and I can barely cast this thing 40 yards. That same rod cast metal jigs of same weight over 100 yards. Do not buy this lure if you care about cast distance. As far as action it's a suspending crank bait with decent action, it gets down 2-3 feet. I'm sure it would work, but that's meaningless if you cant cast to the fish, and you buy something called a "windcheater" to make long casts to bluefish or striped bass from shore.

This is a great saltwater fishing lure that cast like a champ and has good swimming action. I primarily use this lure for snook fishing off jetties or in the surf. The only down fall is that it is not wired thru and after it takes a beating on the rooks I've lost fish when the back treble has ripped off. That has only happened once and that particular lure did take a beating. If bomber would wire it thru it would be a 5 star product. Regardless something every saltwater fisherman should have in their tackle box.

It is ideal for saltwater species such as snook,and tarpon. It is durable and comes with good hooks. It comes in 2 sizes both a 4-1/2"and a 6" size both work very well. They have several color choices and I would suggest 4 basic colors. Red/White, Blue/silver,Black/Silver and Green /Silver. The firetiger pattern is also a good choice.

Casts very well and is built to take on big fish. The lure has good action at slow and fast speeds. It has way better action than the Daiwa version of this lure.

The 4" versions are still by far the best. Caught everything from snook to mackerel and dorado pacific and atlantic

A good plug but the only negatives I have about this lure is that Ive experienced problems with it swimming as it will skim across the surface and not dive. Ive had one where water somehow got inside it which threw off the swimming action. Also it doesn’t cast as far as say the Xrap or Sp minnow. The plus side is this lure dives deep enough into the strike zone to catch those pesky snooks down here in Florida. This plug produces snook & Ive also caught big tarpon on it. It’s also cheaper than some other well known plugs.
