Are the frogs supposed to get water in them?

Answer: In my experience with all lunkerhunt frogs...they fill up with water VERY easily and have to be squeezed out after every cast....very annoying

Answer: I don't know that they are supposed to get water in them, however mine does too. About every couple cast, I find myself squeezing the water out of them.

Answer: They do get water in from time to time, specially if there is a lot of grass, lily pads or if you twitch hard, but still works fine, you just need to squeeze it out if you notice is feeling heavier. Funny fact, I actually caught my biggest frog bass while retrieving the frog quick because it had some water in.

This is my 4th lunkerhunt frog and every single one gets a hole in it and fills up with water which you have to squeeze out literally after every cast if you want it to float.....this one was punctured on the first cast...will not be purchasing another lunkerhunt frog again

Unless it’s the high heat of day this frog has been smashed every trip out. Had to open the hooks a bit but other than that it works great.

One thing you need to understand when purchasing this lure...it isn't a forever lure. I consider it a soft plastic and it for sure has a life span if big bass a crushing this frog. I had a different frog, cheaper ($3) and it lasted for like 5 big bass (for me big is 4lbs +). They do rip and you need to know when and where to throw them to catch fish. That being said I have had the most fun fishing when I am fishing with a top water frog like this one. I had this one and yes it did fall apart and it took a beating in the 3 bass it caught but man was it exciting. If you have the money to spend and are under the understanding this may not last more than a few casts (if youre getting slammed each time) then I highly recommend this lure.
